Went in to get a septum piercing done the other day and let me tell you i had the best time ever! I met the Esther in the reception right in front lovely lady very welcoming and gets straight to the point. Communication is 100points. My septum was done by Scott such a cool person makes you feel comfortable and safe!! He also talk about his long experience as a piercer which made put me at ease and also trust him to do his job, such a professional. Overall they have an amazing team that will help you out!!

My first time getting a piercing. They were very informative and made sure I understood everything including the after care. They went through the pamphlet with me, and gave me many chances to ask any questions I had. Everything was very clean and Scott who pierced my ears was very friendly. He talked me through everything and put me at ease. They made sure I understood what was normal in the days after getting the piercing, and told me if there were any concerns I can come back and ask them. Very friendly and professional service.

The minute I walked into Ninjaflower, I felt 100 times less nervous about getting my piercings. The front desk staff were helpful, attentive and explained everything clearly from sizes, extra costs of jewellery, to aftercare. The studio is beautifully decorated, with lots of art, plants and calming but vibrant music. I was taken upstairs to be sized by Scott, their piercer, who made me feel completely at ease as a young woman. I was walked through the aftercare booklet after I chose my jewellery, and had extra tips given to me specific to my piercing (double nipple). As someone who has vasovagal syncope (I faint unless lying down with any piercing/injection/tattoo), I always get a bit nervous about being accommodated, but Scott was great and talked me through every step of his process, explaining why he does each step the way he does and checked in regularly to ask if I had any questions. I was completely in control of when he began setting up and when each piercing was done. I was given the time I needed to let my body recover so I wouldn't faint, and had great chats while I got ready to leave the private piercing room. In 3 words: Painless (for me), professional, personalised. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for any type of piercing. The slightly higher price difference from other piercing studios in Wellington was well worth the amazing experience and service I received. Thank you!

I had a fantastic experience today from the moment I walked through the door to the end when I walked out with my piercings. The front staff are very helpful, thorough and knowledgeable. Zach was very patient and understanding, he was able to provide me with all the information I needed to make a decision on my piercings within my budget and jewelry preferences. It was obvious to me that Scotty is a very experienced piercer and it was apparent that he is passionate about what he does. I felt very comfortable and confident in his ability and it was great how he explained exactly what to expect as I'm quite new to piercing. I have had two piercings done here and both experiences were very welcoming calming and felt very comfortable. Both very different piercings. Highly professional in everything they do. Hygiene is paramount. Staff are there to assist you in your own specific requirements without hurrying you through. Took my Granddaughters there for their first piercings. Both were treated with appropriate care and clear instructions on how to clean and tend piercing at home and a please don’t hesitate to call us if need be.

I highly recommend getting your piercings done here. They are extremely knowledgeable and able to offer advice. They take you through the whole process including the aftercare more thoroughly than I have experienced elsewhere. They are reasonably expensive but worth it for the quality and assurance that the jewellery is high grade and unlikely to cause allergic reactions or infection. The staff were very kind and make sure you're comfortable and experience the least pain possible. Definitely recommend.

Ninja Flower is a classy and well presented tattoo and piercing establishment. Unfortunately they weren't able to help us, however they were welcoming, friendly and upfront. We totally understood and walked away happy with no hard feelings. Just FYI it is their policy that they do not perform cartilage piercing for under 14 year olds, even with parental consent. That is absolutely respectable and, as above, we totally understood. With the reception we got I would happily contact them in the future. I would perhaps advise getting in touch beforehand to ensure they are able to meet your needs. We just happened to walk in without prior arrangement or contact.

I went there today for a nostril piercing after seeing all the amazing reviews and I'm so glad I did. Really friendly staff, they went through everything I needed to know before and after getting pierced. More pricey than the usual piercing shop but defo worth it as the piercer has been doing it for 25 years. Not painful at all which what I was scared off. Thanks again and would recommend to anyone.

I had my nose pierced at Ninjaflower last Saturday and could not recommend it more. The team were awesome! Irini was great and took the time to go through the care plan prior to my piercing, it was really helpful and I felt really looked after. Scott was amazing. He really knows his stuff, and told me step by step the processes of what he was doing. He made me feel really relaxed and the piercing was virtually pain free and is healing very well. The place is spotless and all equipment taken out of sterile packaging. All in all an amazing experience. I’m already planning my next trip for my next piercing!

I got my tragus pierced here with some friends. The piercer was great, professional, clean and explained things really well. However the follow up service was horrible for my friend. The staff were really rude, didn't listen and wouldn't sell my friend a flat back stud (even though she felt that would have helped to prevent her hair catching on it, constant pulling and recurring infection). Her request could have been handled a lot better and the staff did not need to be so patronising.

Expensive, but a serious place for tattoos and piercings. It's very cultural and kind. No playboy bunnies on your backside or "Tribal" here. Just people who love body mod. design and culture. You pay a bit more but I think it's because they believe they're worth it. Super nice people, not snooty, and eager to help with whatever your trying to achieve. Venue is nice and jewelry selection beautiful.

Wellington is seriously lucky to have Ninjaflower. I got the other side of my lip pierced recently and Scott was very professional and friendly, and spent a long time making absolute sure that the piercing would match perfectly before he went ahead, despite it being a very busy day. The piercings are done without bulky, cold clamps or other instruments which means the whole process is virtually pain-free. The rest of the staff are all just as patient and helpful. I wouldn't get pierced anywhere else!

I have had two piercings done at ninja flower and a stretch on my ears. They are always completely professional and helpful when I go in, always happy to answer any question I might have. The man who does the piercing is clear about what will happen before he goes near you with a needle and is very efficient. No need to worry about anything when you go to ninjaflower. A bit more expenisve than other shops around wellington you can find but you get what you pay for.

Not too bad. They are extremely picky about what they do and to whom they'll do it though. I suppose that's alright, they give legitimate reasons for denial. For example; a tiny misalignment of your nostril may get you denied a septum piercing. They do give off a bit of a superiority complex. They do good work but there are other places that do just as well and make you feel welcome instead. Shop is extremely clean and they have a huge selection of really cool jewelry.

Went to Ninjaflower to get my lobes re-dilated... as a piercing novice (have only ever had my earlobes and an ill-fated bellybutton teenage decision-piercing) I figured I'd just go to the chemist, but tried this proper piercing place on a whim. So glad I did. Not only did they avoid re-piercing it (less healing time, no breaking of the skin) - unlike the chemist which just said they'd get the nail gun out again- the customer service was just brilliant. They literally made me want to get another piercing, which I have no real desire to do for any other reason, just so I could have another customer experience with them. They proved that awesome, caring customer service can really make a big difference to someone's day. Thanks Ninjaflower people!

I had my nose repierced at Ninjaflower, having originally had it done in Australia but it never healed and was always sore. The repiercing has healed up wonderfully and I have no pain in the area at all. I'm also getting my bottom ear piercings stretched, and the process has been great both times. The premises are lovely, very clean, well-decorated, and Esther and Scott are great people. There is *no* sales pressure. The jewellery selections are extensive - Esther may be able to order in special pieces if you want something not on display - as has happened with my new nose end.

Absolutely and truly professional! The shop is super cute, clean and well laid out. I had a consultation with Nathan after messaging him a sketch and my ideas. He worked out some details and placement, understanding perfectly what I was asking for. During my session, he was not only efficient, but super friendly and courteous, being sure to show me that all the needles he used were sterile (something I've never had an artist do, and I appreciated that touch). The others in the shop were kind and fun to talk to and all around, it was just a great vibe for sitting through a tattoo. It's now almost two weeks since I've gotten my piece and I ABSOLUTELY love it! I will be going back, and I definitely reccomed this place (and have been reccomending it already to friends). I cannot speak more highly, these guys are great at what they do :)

One day by chance I checked Nathan's works and it was the linework and the precision that I was looking for. This is an extremely professional tattoo shop, with different Artists competent in different styles and to be true I hardly seen this competence and precision around the other few tattoo shop I've been around. I'm glad I trusted Nathan on the positioning of my first piece. I thank him for the music during the session and for the focused and steady pace he kept, making that 4 hrs fly away. Top hygiene.
