I've had two Tattoo's here, one from Gill the owner and another from Martin. Both are great to work with and their professionalism was perfect. Both of my Tattoo's from them have had many compliments from people, even being stopped walking around the supermarket! I have absolutely no regrets getting them. I will continue to go back there for my tattoo's going forwards! I recommend them to anyone!

I am pleased! This place is awesome. I got my first tattoo and obviously a little bit afraid in the beginning. They took care of me from the first second. I did not have an appointment, but could make one for the same day. I paid 150$ for a word of approximately 6 centimeters for one hour work. It’s clean, looks very tidy and everyone is friendly here. I will definitely come back for my next tattoos here! Thanks guys!

After securing a last minute cancellation Gill (quickly) worked with me to create the perfect design based off a description of what I was looking for. Gill is a true artist, working with a lose description and creating something very personal and memorable for me. He’s experienced in his craft and patiently walked me through managing my expectations for my first tattoo. He was honest in the pain-threshold to expect and helped me mentally prepare for the 4hr experience. I couldn’t be happier with the result. I have been getting Tattooed by Gill for the last 6 years or so and i keep going back as his workman ship is second to none. The premises are spotless and hygiene is awesome which makes me feel really comfortable. Gill and the crew always have some sick yarns to spin and i enjoy the atmosphere. There are plenty of amazing pieces of art work on display to look through too. I always recommend friends and family to Gill and am always getting comments about how awesome my Sleeves are. I came to Tattoo Machine last weekend with two friends and we all got matching sentimental tattoos on our ankles. We were looked after by Josh who was super friendly and patient with us. Tattoos look perfect and have healed amazing. Highly reccomend.

My tattoo artist was Spookestuff and he took a lot of time to check with me what I wanted, he made and remade some versions of my originel tattoo on a tablett to get exactly what I want. Amazing experience at Tattoo Machine today. I had the chance to get tattooed by the talented Rhys. I got greeted as I came to the door and was invited to sit waiting for the artist. Rhys arrived on time and had a lot of drawings to show me. He was super friendly! Rhys made sure I was OK during the entire time I was there. The tattoos were done medicoulously. He tattoos softly compare to a lot of artists I've been tattooed by. Really like my experience here, would recommend.

Excellent experience altogether! Came in as a group of five and Ans accommodated all of us politely and patiently. Really peaceful environment and service. I'm thrilled with my tattoo. Ans took a fairly simple flash of line work and elevated it with care and detail to make something really special. Highly recommend.

I found the whole process, right from my initial contact with you and to our last session yesterday, professional and friendly at the same time. You said a few times that it took longer than you expected but to me the important thing is the end result which more than met my expectations. I still remember the first couple of times I came to your studio I was nervous as hell as I didn't really know what to expect (even though I'd done a lot of reading about tattooing) but your friendly and relaxed manner quickly put me at ease. An awesome studio with fantastic artists. Rhys (he's the one that looks like Jesus) has done most of my tattoos now including a near full blackout on one of my arms due to previous work I wasn't happy with done by another artist. He is very talented in a lot of different styles and all of his work heals beautifully. Highly highly recommend :)

Highly recommend! I got the greatest snake and flower design from Tane, it is SO detailed I always recieve compliments on it! The entire team was very welcoming and professional too. Cant wait to come back!

I first met Gil in early 2014. From the first email to me coming into the studio I was impressed with Gils professionalism and genuine kind approach. Gils approach to tattooing is very methodical and structured which is exactly what i wanted. 6-7 sesions into the mix i have nothing but kind words to say, what a legend! over the years faces have come and go but the studio always held a welcoming atmosphere with quality yarns and music. Hygiene wise the studio is what you would expect of high quality and craftsmanship. As for the quality of work it is impeccable! the cleanest tattooing I have ever seen in my life. There is some amazing artwork displayed throughout the shop can honestly say Gil is doing the tattoo industry justice in wellington!!!. My only regret is not having my other sleeve done by him :( 10/10

First tattoo here last week and it wont be the last! Gill designed a special piece for me based on the ideas I gave him and its just perfect. Highly recommend!
