Ive known Steve for over 20years or so now. A man with amazing knowledge and talent, and a very understanding man. Steves a very unique soul, and tattooing literally pumps thru his veins! Really amazing with Maori ta moko, and especially his dragons also. If you want something with real heart and soul, go check out Undergroundarts! They will definitely help you with designs also. (I would personally ignore the negative comments. I trust Steve and the tattooist at UGA 100%)

Steve has been tattooing our family members over the last 20 years he is a great artist and I am proud to now be sitting in on my son and daughters sessions whilst still being worked on myself!!

Awesome tattoo from Steve the other day. He really helped me out since I was on a time crunch and I absolutely love my tatt! High quality work from an experienced and friendly artist, so I highly recommend. I'm definitely coming back in xmas for some additions :)

Thanks to tattoo artist Matt’s amazing talent I now have a great personal piece of artwork. After having a bad experience at Union Tattoo due to bad costumer service and lack of interest in what they are tattooing I went to UA. Matt took his time to explain everything and to tell what is possible and what to avoid. He showed me his recent art works, which are all gorgeous and very detailed. On the day of getting tattooed Matt took very good care of hygiene. He showed me the needle before getting started and explained all the steps very carefully and understandable. I liked his ambition and perfectionism. The whole time I felt very comfortable. What a shame I can’t give him a 6th star...

I had been planning on getting a couple of personal Tatt's for a long time. During a boring Public Holiday i placed a quick phone call to 'Underground Arts' and within an hour i was booked and good to go. Steve's attention to detail far surpassed my expectations, and the teams helpful advice and friendly natures guarantees a repeat visit!

If anyone is looking for a good tattoo artist in Wellington Matt works at Underground Arts Tattoo and he is very talented. This is the tattoo he had done for me. I just gave him the ideas I wanted for my tattoo and it turned out amazing!
