My experience with Evolution Tattoo Studio has been exceptional. Beginning with amazing communication via email. To walking in and feeling like part of the family. You are greeted by the gorgeous Tiffany and then placed into the very capable and professional hands of your artist. I walked in with a 32 year old faded mess and walked away with a beautiful piece of art that I am proud of. My tattooist Paul was phenomenal. Friendly, caring, funny, talented and extremely professional. I felt put at ease and completely comfortable from start to finish. The atmosphere is wonderful and these talented people really know their craft. I am already planning my next tattoo, along with my two nieces who have also been tattooed here by Paul, and who also can't wait to get back. I can not recommend these guys highly enough. You will not be disappointed at this amazing studio. Thanks Evolution Tattoo Studio and thank you to my amazing artist Paul.....LOVE my new tattoo! Tania :)))))

Evolution Tattoo Whitianga is one of the best studios I've visited in my fifteen years of being tattooed. They have three highly talented artists all with different styles. I have been tattooed by both Paul and Nathan and have walked out with a massive smile every time. If you live in whitianga or visiting, I would recommend calling in and having some work done by them. Super friendly, professional and good humour. Nothing worse than walking into a studio and feeling awkward and that definitely doesn't happen at this studio! Great stuff guys!

Right from the start wete super relaxed and friendly. First thing I noticed was the hygiene standards were high, replacing needles cleaning down between clients . Taylor the tattoo to suit clients requirements even if this means changing the stencil once it's set. Professionalism is high. Artistry is outstanding. Highly recommend

I absolutely love the work I had done by both Lee and Nathan! Very accommodating and made to feel very comfortable. Well worth the travel as we came from the Bay of Plenty. Made my dream of what I wanted a reality and I couldn't be more happy. Such an awesome workspace, very professional, clean and Tiffany is just so lovely. I went in for a two day session. Needless to say I was nervous that I wouldn't cope. Lee, Tiffany and Nathan immediately had me laughing and relaxed. In no time at all, I felt totally comfortable and almost part of the family. Lee's work needs no commendations; all his work is absolutely stunning and totally blows your mind! I could not be happier with the art I received. And I handled the two days with no problems at all!! As for the studio, it's just gorgeous; clean lines, beautifully decorated, so functional and pristine. I can't wait to go back.

Just want to put a massive thankyou to all the staff at Evolution tattoo studio NZ! From Upton arriving being warmly greeted by Lee,to Tiffany arriving asking if we needed anyway and how was our trip up, to Nathan offering us a hot drink. Everyone there goes beyond expected in making you feel as comfortable as you can. We were there for at least 6 hours and felt comfortable the whole time. Then to the tattooing, I knew Lee was good but I didn't expect to walk out with a piece as beautiful as I did and already I have people asking where I got it done! I am already planning my next piece and will definitely tell everyone about you guys up there! Keep doing well💕

Can not recommend this place enough!!!! Tiffany was absolutely amazing to deal with when booking in my tattoo & very accommodating with any changes made. Pauly's work was outstanding & the atmosphere was second to none! I will definitely be back very soon.

Drove up to this beautiful little gem nestled among mountain vistas of Coromandel to get my tattoo from this amazing man Lee Jones who along with his wife Tiff has become a good friend... he completed my tattoo sleeve and the work is beyond amazing.. people asked me why I would travel this far to get a tattoo, and I said, for quality and masterful work, since tattooing isn’t exactly a temporary art... this permanent work should be undertaken by someone gifted in this craft.. lee is the epitome of a master artist and his humility and talent is, in my opinion second to none!!! I have had work from a couple of other dudes and none compare to Lee.. if you are contemplating getting a piece done, Lee is honestly the man for the job !!! Tattoos are permanently a part of you, don’t risk getting them done by someone who’s isn’t experienced and skilled.. don’t get a cheap job !!! Quality is worth paying for... and honestly I’m so so happy with my piece from Lee.. he is a legend and a beautiful human being.. go and see him and his lovely wife Tiff at the Evolution tattoo studio in the Coromandel!!! You won’t regret it !!

My experience at Evolution tattoo studio was fantastic! My sister and i booked in for matching tattoos. We had a vague idea of what we wanted but no real design. Nathan was amazing, he listened to what we were trying to describe, walked away and came back with a beautiful dotwork design which we absolutely loved. It was actually my first tattoo so when i walked in i was quite nervous but Nathan instantly made me feel super comfortable and relaxed. Both him and Lee are extremely professional and friendly, they have created such a great atmosphere at the studio. Thank you so much to the whole team at Evolution, we will be seeing you again for sure!

Lee is an amazing artist. He was able to give good advice on what would look best on me. When I first approached him for a design he could have done what I asked. It would have dated quickly and could have turned to something that would not stand the test of time. He led me towards something that not only looks awesome but I’m my opinion is a work of art.His work was out of this world and I can not keep from looking at it in the mirror. Lee and Tiff are a great team and look after you. They can not do enough for you. They are a neat couple and their business is second to none on the peninsula.
