N.The service is excellent! If you run out of power, you can go back to the shop and get a new battery, and I cycled all day, and at the end OF the day I still had 55% charge, which was really good
H.We have hired ebikes several times from here. The service is friendly, good value and quality ebikes. It’s our favourite way to explore the island and visit multiple vineyards. Highly recommend!
R.Rented eBikes for the day. The battery on our bikes diminished surprisingly fast during the day, so we called the store for help and the owner came out to us and replaced the bikes free of charge! Such wonderful hospitality. Thank you, we had a great day!

Rent an electric scooter for 2 for the day, it was a very pleasant way to go around and discover the island.
Just the battery is running out a bit fast but since most of the activities are close it's not such a big deal.
M.eCycles are a great way to explore the island. Bikes & Beyond employee was friendly and helpful and gave us a free upgrade to the premium ebicycles as we had to wait awhile to be served. However, the seats were a tad uncomfortable/hard so would look at a different style ebike next time. Otherwise would use them again.

We did see non-electric for $40 when we got off the ferry but chose the electric for $60 due to reading other people’s reviews about how hilly it is.
So much to see and do! And so much fun!

Y.Hiring an E bike will definitely make your trip more memorable. Need to let the shop know if you plan on going further than Onetangi. Was able to stop by Omiha bay, Onetangi beach, Palm Beach, and other bays I couldnt list. The bike had just enough battery to make all the trips on the map and assist me on hardcore uphills. Other than the issue I had with the pedal hitting the stand while pedaling, it was a fun ride. Vineyard hopping with ebike was definitely fun
E.Very nice experience. Rented their electric niu scooter. More than enough range for a 1 day tour of the island.
Just remember that you have to let go of the brake before you can set off otherwise it won't go.
D.The best bike shop on the Island!! I was stranded with a broken front spoke. We had come over for the day to ride the Island. Within 5 kms my day was ruined. The friendly staff at eCycles let me borrow a front wheel for the day. It made my day and I couldn’t thank them enough!!!!
C.The team here were awesome at helping us decide what we needed (from bikes to scooters). We ended up hiring a electric scooter for the day it was the most amazing way to see the Island. The team made sure we had an extra large battery so that we could tandem on the scooter all day and not run out of battery - we had it from 10am-6.30pm and still had 40% battery when we dropped it back. Would highly recommend

A.Rented 6 bikes and an electric scooter to go around the island. We received great service from the eCycles & Bikes&Beyond team. Would definitely recommend renting them for a fun outdoors group activity. Try the Onetangi to Oneroa route through the northern side of the island for a bit of a leg day workout.
J.While I can confirm the rumors that there are level pieces of road on Waiheke, they are short and separated by the most vicious hills. Unless you are looking for a serious workout, go for the e-bike. They are pricey, but worth it. Very friendly service.
J.Great service by Chris. We were luckily enough to walk in hire some bikes then explore the island in best way possible. Bikes were perfect and offered more than enough assistance when needed and comfortable. Missing out if you don't explore on a ebike. You really do miss those small hidden gems

S.Such an amazing small business and a great way to see a beautiful part of the world. We used the bike and bomb deal and the car was serviceable, clean and exactly what we needed to see some of the out-of-way parts of the island. Then we were on their electric bikes and again, a great way to explore and enjoy the sunshine and slower pace. The bikes are comfortable to ride, the electric assist is as you like AND the community/ motorists seem to be used to (and highly tolerant of) tourists getting about on bikes. Darleen and Christian and all there staff are so friendly, welcoming and helpful I couldn't recommend these guys more highly!
C.The electric bikes are so much fun and hilariously powerful at times. They are a great way to get around a steep island and take in the best of the views while saving your legs a little of the trauma. It also means that you can zip around most of the island very quickly leaving more time for stopping and exploring.

A.Super friendly service and gave me a flat rate of 60 NZD for the day (return up until 5pm), as well as plenty of local tips and directions. Electric bike definitely helps a lot going round Waiheke - getting between the beaches often means going up and over large hills!
B.Chris’s local and wealth of knowledge was brilliant. If you are into your cycling the full Island trip is a must. And if you are not the half Island ride is just as rewarding.
c.The ecycle experience look fun, but pricey, we decided to have normal bikes to ride around the island... it was very hard... so I would recommend having one of them if you don't want to waste your time pushing your bikes in the crazy Hills around waiheke lol.
I had a flat tyre and the staff came quickly to change my bike, it was great !

J.Super-friendly local business with owners who are utterly dedicated to ridding Waiheke of fossil fuels (even the ferries must comply!). A friend and I had a really fun outing exploring Waiheke on a couple of their electric scooters (motorini/mopeds). Highly recommended!
J.I was so lucky I had an inside tip to walk the 1.5km out of the ferry terminal to this shop to hire a bike. I'd walk twice that distance to get the experience i had!!! Take the journey it's worth the extra for the extra you get from this place!

ワイヘケはバス路線が整備されていますが、時刻表を気にせず移動できる自転車がお勧めです。そして、とてもアップダウンが多いワイヘケではeBike（電動アシスト自転車）をレンタルするのが最もお勧めです。普通の自転車よりもレンタル費用が高いですが今回その価値を実感しました。いつもロードバイクに乗っている私は普通の自転車をレンタルしたのですが、いつも自転車に乗っていない妻のeBikeに下り坂以外は置いて行かれました。インターネットから予約すると当日の手続きもスムーズです。
