M.This is a great service and I often use it to get to Mangere Airport and back. I think it runs every 30 minutes now, it's very simple to use and I can also use my AT Hop Card to tag on and off, which is very convenient. I have to wonder why the Government and our rather confused Auckland Council are insisting on building Lght Rail from the CBD to Mangere Airport when this will be slower, cost millions of dollars and further disrupt downtown Auckland for at least another decade, whilst they try and get it up and running. Between SkyBus and our rail link to the new Puhinui Railway Station (the upgrade to this station is almost complete at the time of writing) which also links to the newly completed priority bus lanes to the Airport on SH20B, giving us two very good options to get out to the Airport, you'd have to ask why you'd bother building a single light rail line when buses go everywhere the roads go and, if we use electric buses in the future, it's even better. Once the City Rail Link is complete in about four years time it will be even faster! I highly recommend SkyBus as a great option if you are moving between the Auckland CBD and the Airport. The staff are very helpful, they are generally good drivers, it's faster during peak hour traffic as the buses can use priority bus lanes and it's a comfortable ride. Thanks Skybus! 👍😉
M.Excellent and reliable. Buses towards Auckland City run 24/7, were fairly frequent even in the wee hours of the morning. Pay with card at machines, or cash at the stand. Free WiFi available on board. Clear details and indication given for the right stops to get off.
C.Prompt, spacious and very easy. We got to town faster than we thought we would. The website, app and instructions are clear and have made it easy for us to plan our trip to auckland. Friendly staff and Helpful drivers with a willingness to help. I had large bags and our driver helped me get them on upon arrival and then even helped me take them out at my stop. The lady at the ticket desk even asked if i needed help with bags. Overall Great service and experience.
A.So easy!!! The ticket box attendant was so friendly and helpful. I'm not a public transport person and advised her I had no idea where my stop was she gave me a map and drew on it my stop and my accommodation. The driver was fantastic, he helped me with my bag and advised me when we were at my stop. He gave me plenty of time to get off the bus with my bag and was very polite even pointing me in the right direction of my hotel.
P.best bus service I’ve ever been on in my whole life. Saw some ibis out the window and Aunty cindy was driving. What a treat 10/10
S.Brilliant service to have on the Shore. Fast, practical, and easy to use. Coming from Gulf Harbour, I only need to be dropped off at Albany and was at the airport (Sunday) in less than an hour. No more having to pay for car parking or asking a family member to give up a morning of their weekend for a lift. Affordable alternative. Will use again happily.

An issue on the way back to the airport though when 3 of the every 10 to 15 minutes buses didn't turn up. Made it just in time for my flight.

Hopefully becomes a more popular option. Maybe one day it’ll goes all the way to Hibiscus Coast Station (given the massive population growth up there).
J.We caught the bus both ways. The service is good. In hindsight we should have booked a return journey at the airport where we started from. It is cheaper and you get a couple of dollars off if you are a senior citizen as well.
The times we travelled meant traffic was light. It was raining and I thought the bus driver drove safely through very big puddles and flowing water.
Both times the journey was under half an hour. It starts at domestic and goes to international. There is free wifi, instructions in English and other languages re location etc..
You can catch the bus back by the towers Sky and Church.
A.The bus Operator on the bus this morning 8th September at 6.05 on Dominion Road was awsome,the "Good Morning " we got from her was the best made our day,and above all we were running a bit late and she stopped before the stop and picked us up.
Her driving was so smooth .

B.I always use Skybus when travelling City to Auckland Airport, it's the best priced option and stops conveniently where I stay frequently. The staff are always helpful and the operation is about as efficient as it can be with airport flights, Auckland traffic, and stressed passengers (and their quantities of luggage). I left my phone on the bus and I can attest to their lost property system - a quick email and quick response.
G.Overall a good reliable service between the Airport and CBD. Although allow yourself at least 1 hour if you are travelling during peak times.
Dominion Road service seems faster.
WiFi supplied by Vodafone is really slow and the connection is extremely unreliable. It may differ from bus to bus. It's hard to actually get any work done. Emails are fine, as long as you aren't attaching any files. But forget doing anything productive when it comes to downloading or uploading files. I have attached a photo of the speeds you can expect. This could be much better. WiFi drops out regularly, which requires you to go through the authentication process again and again.
B.Excellent reliable service - a number of central city stops.
It's great they've started a North Shore service now! We won't have to go to the city to get the sky bus.
S.- Make sure to have an AT hop card or a purchased skybus ticket before getting on as you cannot buy tickets on the bus.
This bus is an affordable way to get to the airport. It cost me about $20 from city CBD to the airport whereas an uber or taxi would be $50 to $80.
It has free limited WiFi and they broadcast a few times about when to get off in 4 different languages so it's useful for first time travellers and an ear sore for frequent users haha
They now go all the way to Smales farm bus station.
D.Easy buying ticket online. Nice lounge to wait in on Queen Street. Bus arrived on time. Roadworks near AKL slowed us down but got to the airport in under 45 minutes on a weekday morning. A fraction the cost of a taxi.
M.You can pre-purchase tickets online and is $1 cheaper for an one-way ticket. Services are pretty frequent and the ride is about 30-40 minutes from the airport to Auckland city centre. The bus drops off is along Queen Street, opposite to the Civic Square. However the connecting shuttle buses from the city centre to accommodation only stops at limited places. I stayed near the Sky Tower and was told by the shuttle bus drivers that he doesn't go there.
E.We had no idea how to get from Airport to CBD and as soon as we got to the bus we were asked where we were going and told exactly how to get there. He even gave us a map and marked where our hotel was. So grateful awesome service. Great start to our trip 😊

P.Great way to to get to and from airport to the city center. About $32 return, a taxi would be $140 return. Had free wi-fi, would be 5 stars if it had a live departure board at the main hub stop on Queen st in the CBD.
A.Easy option for getting to and from the airport from downtown. Most value for money if you're traveling alone or with one other person, otherwise get a shuttle. The cheapest option is to take the train and then a bus via Auckland Transport, but SkyBus goes direct to the airport so I prefer taking it when I don't have much time before my flight.

T.Always picked up a rental or been picked up when flying to Auckland, but catching the bus was great when heading to the CBD. The bus avoids grid lock since it can use the bus lanes for a surprisingly block free ride in.

S.had a pleasent experience on skybus. bought a 1way tix from the hostel to get to the airport at NZD18. i guess i am lucky.. everytime i walk pass the skybus bus stop just outside Grafton Accom, a skybus passes by. with that i believe they are reliable and have frequent services.
if you've got two or more pax, Uber may be a better choice.

B.I waited for the bus at 2.45 am. In the SkyBus office told me that the frequency in every 30 minutes... I had to wait for a little bit more than an hour. But once you get the bus, is very fast and you have Free wi-fi.
