Cute, this is the word to describe this airport. Small, compact and cute. Well maintained, clean, basic amenities like a eatery store, toilet and bins.

Amazing customer service by Air New Zealand staff member. Considering we are in a pandemic the airport was awesome. There is even in the waiting area for your flight free filtered flash as water to fill your drink bottle up. Highly recommend

The actual airport was fine but transport services sucked. No buses or shuttles anywhere, only taxis. Be warned $65 to catch a taxi into town.

Parking was bit expensive. There was no bus or public transport to get to the airport. The airport is very quiet. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great little airport. Easy access, good parking, nice facilities and excellent staff. Would be improved by a resumption of flights to Auckland and international flights. The main flaw is the lack of any form of public transport to Hamilton City and the price of the taxis is very high.

Currently Hamiltron airport is undergoing an overhaul. The first floor and the south half of the ground floor are being renovated for future improvements to your travels. Very quick and effective transport hub nowadays. Would travel here again.

Small airport. Clean and tidy but don't expect much. Would recommend bringing your own snacks or food. Coffee from pop up was ok and reasonably priced.

Convenient parking, compact airport terminal. The layout has been changed to manage Covid, with a separate area for check in and waiting to board. The bar and cafe service is now downstairs

Although it is a little far away from the city, the access is fast easy. This airport has a great viewing deck for a small airport. Not many options for food, so eating in the city might be a better option, unless you're a fancy Koru lounge member. It has uber and shuttles that are a cheaper options to get to the city.

The cafe upstairs is a shambles - ordered coffee and granola - can’t rate the food as my plane left before they served it. Hope the staff enjoyed a free feed.... other than that, airport was good.

Clean, well organized and quiet, with helpful airline staff. Parking is plentiful and easy to pay. But the cafe lets the side down. The selection of drinks is good, but staff are a bit dour. Hot food is just reheated in the microwave out back. The hot drinks themselves are fine, though priced high as would be expected in an airport.

Great airport with easy access and plenty of parking. The staff at check in were awesome so helpful and friendly. However, the Propeller cafe really let the side down. The staff there are not very welcoming, ever heard of service with a smile! Need to up their game.

Smooth and hassle free experience from this small airport about half an hour drive from Hamilton city centre. Heaps of parking spaces available which are really cheap if you book it for a long weekend away.

Easy access & simple to navigate. Nothing special, but does the job. Will be great if it expands to ease the congestion at Auckland Airport in the future. Keep in mind there is no public transport to the airport. Shuttles and rideshares cost about $50pp one way. Carparking is quite pricey but there is a weekend discount.

No international jet flights at present. Air New Zealand has about 6 flights in each direction to Christchurch in the South Island and Wellington, our capital, using a few Dash 8 but mainly ATR 72 twin engined prop aircraft. Small but well run airport. There are also commercial flights by originair.co.nz and sunair.co.nz serving other centres. Love the new parking system. Reads number plate on arr and dep, quick tap of paywave card and you're on your way. No ticket to lose or validate.

I was really impressed with this little airport. The staff were very helpful and noticed the rental car counter was attended, and offered to call them for me.

What can I say, planes come and go from here. There is a small bathroom, lots of car rental places and one cafe that will try to sell you a pie for $10.50.

The Air NZ staff went above and beyond to be helpful today without my having to ask for it. Frankly, they ended up sorting an issue which wasn't at all their fault, even though it required a couple of staff to figure out exactly how best to handle it. I was beyond impressed and wish I had taken the two women's names (I believe one may have been Amy and the other's surname was Paki or Pakih?), but if they're representative of Air NZ, the organisation should be very happy. Thank you so much, ladies. Aside from the general stress of travel and airline complications, I have some personal things going on and I really, really appreciated a better start to a long day ahead.
