The guys did a great job moving us. They were very professional, polite and friendly and worked very fast and efficiently. The company was very responsive to any queries we had leading up to the move. They made the whole experience way less stressful and I would thoroughly recommend them.

Great service provided all round. The movers were friendly, respectful, fast and just made everything work. They packed everything in the truck perfectly, even the random stuff that doesn't fit in boxes. Waikato Movers made the whole daunting job of moving house so much less stressful. I was in a real bind - on my own and with a young baby - when a courier company had delivered a sofa but refused to move it upstairs. These guys popped in at the end of their shift on a Sunday after I sent out an SOS. They were polite, friendly, helpful, careful and really quick. They carefully removed door and light fittings and replaced them afterwards and minimised scuffing to the walls and ceiling, but most valuable of all, they were so keen to help. They ended up having to lift the couch from their truck step-platform over a balcony, then up some stairs - they made it look easy. I highly recommend Waikato Movers. Awesome mahi!

I was recommended Waikato Movers when the company I had moved with several times before was unable to do the job within my timeframe. When I move again, I will definitely pick Waikato Movers. There is nothing wrong with the previous company but I received excellent service from Cameron and the team, Travis and Mansell, and it was more cost effective. The truck turned up on time and the job was done quickly and efficiently by the good humoured guys. They were very careful with my furniture and new carpet. It was a pleasure to deal with Waikato Movers. Kia ora, guys!

I recently moved my house and contacted Waikato movers. Going for 3 men and a truck turned out to be quite efficient. Troy, Manselle and Travis from Waikato movers did a great job, and were very professional and efficient. They handled the furniture with care, and stacked it smartly in the truck. It took just over 3 hours to load and unload a 3bdr house (~90 mins spent on travel and transport). Highly recommend Waikato movers. Thank you.

Highly recommend... had 3 people got job done fast as even in the pouring rain with steep driveways and stairs. Everything was handled with care and the workers with friendly chatty & knew what they were doing ! 10/10

EDIT: Moved again (this time to my own home, one year since my last review below) and of course this team was the only one to call after our last experience. And they are STILL the best in town. Of course my dates changed a couple of times again, but Cam was nothing but professional, with awesome communication. On the day I couldn't fault the team - super friendly, fast workers, and so gentle with our gear. Packed to perfection. Both moves were challenging with access, but these guys didn't even blink. I had to change dates three times(!), and every time I called Cam he was super-helpful and accommodating, nothing seems to stress this guy. The move team was incredible. Arrived perfectly on time, looked after our gear to perfection (we had some huge items and some very delicate items), and we couldn't believe how reasonable the price was. Alot of these 1 star reviews are from foreigners that should not even be in the country, Deport all foreigners who are not European I found Waikato movers very professional and with high integrity 10/10 would recommend

Waikato Movers did an excellent job shifting me and my partner into our new house. Couldn't believe how easy they made it for us and will definitely use them again next time I shift. professional and organised right from the start. As part of a last minute emergency move waikato movers responded to my request within the hour, they provided excellent service and went out of their way to ensure everything went smoothly for us. The movers were friendly and professional and provided a great sense of humour during a massively stressful time. This will definitely be the only moving company I will be using from now on. If you looking for affordable top notch professional movers. You want these guys. Really courteous and omg so fast. They were booked for four hours and were done loading from the old place and unloaded to new place in an hour and a half. Fastest move I've ever had. I have just had to use Waikato Movers in a very stressful situation of lockdown in NZ to transport my household gear from one part of the nation to another, when no one else was even willing to give it a go, even though it was perfectly’ legal’ for them to be operating. We had to move our house contents with very short notice. Waikato Movers were amazing with how stress free they made the whole process. We had two efficient ladies pack up our house the next day after booking them and the following day their team came in to move us. It was a huge job, they were polite, respectful and completely professional. We still needed a couple more hours to finish getting our furniture into the house from the garage the following evening so they came back and did this for no extra cost. We will definitely be hiring Waikato Movers again and highly recommending them to anyone who's looking for a great job.

I highly recommend this company. They moved us recently and they were super efficient, professional and reasonably priced for the amazing service they gave us. I would use this company again and will recommend them to others.

On Tuesday the 22nd of march 202 - the day before the Lock-down Level 4 announced to start. I received a call from a large removal company whom i booked in advance, to let me know that they had to cancel my moving date due to lock-down as many of their staff need to travel to their families before the lock-down and will not be able to go ahead with the agreement. This was at 2pm, Panic hit and start to look for another removal company to see if anyone available in such a short notice and can do the move before midnight the second day. It was defiantly a 'mission impossible'. After many calls to different removal companies in the region with no luck, i finally called WAIKATO MOVERS, when i asked if they can do a job the next day the voice on the other side asked: can you let me know how many bedrooms you have. at this point I had a glimpse of hope that they might be able to help. Cameron, took few details and he said: We will be there first thing in the morning. If i am honest, i did have my doubts and Cameron got the hint that i was doubting him - sorry Cameron and the team - But it was truly a 'mission impossible. Next day, Wednesday the 23rd at 8pm, arrived the first shift, three beautiful ladies arrived, put the gloves and face mask on and start the packing- they got into it and they did not stop till everything was packet. They were amazing packing things so neatly as it was belong to them personally, Amazing. The second shift arrived late in the afternoon as they had a job in the morning which was extremely delayed. Cameron called me to let me know when the guys with the truck going to arrive and I should not worry as they will not stop till the move is completed before the lock-down at midnight. it was 6:30pm when they arrive and again at this point i did have a big panic moment and doubt that the job will be done in less than 5 hours as we had big heavy furniture including pianos and outdoor items. The guys already arrived to my place very tiered from the previous job. I really felt bad that they have to do more work when they are spouse to be having dinner with their own families. Despite their exhaustion, they were very polite, accommodating with a smile. JUST INCREDIBLE. even the ladies from the morning shift stayed on and one of them looked and me and said: Don't worry we are not leaving you till the job is done. And that is what they did, they promised and they delivered despite everything. they all worked hard as a team, and they cheered each other up. I was truly humbled to see such an amazing service. I know this is a long -very long- post, but i could't not leave a feedback without tilling the story of how they rescued us in such a short notice. what they done that day is absolutely a FIRST CLASS SERVICE

Great company. Saved our butts when the company I originally booked made a no show. Booked in with Waikato movers on the day and was told they would be over in a couple of hours. Was given an estimate cost of the move which was very accurate. The guys were amazing and made easy work of our move. Cannot thank yous enough for your awesome customer service. Will definitely use this company for future moves.

Great service -- team of 3 unloaded our home to self-storage just before Level 4 lockdown -- another team of 3 moved us in during Level 3. Pleasant, cheerful, helpful team. No hassle and no breakages, despite awkward access.

Waikato Movers moved us from Hamilton to Gisborne, it was 2 households out of one house. At the Gisborne end there was two addresses and a storage unit to unload. These guys packed us all up the day before and drove down the next day, unloaded at 3 places without stopping. They worked tirelessly and cheerfully all day. I definitely recommend Cameron and his team. We were given a fixed price and that was stuck too even though it took much longer than anticipated. Good work guys, Thank you. Would use again.

I can not speak highly enough of this Company . The communication was great right from the start - They made me aware of the charges- no hidden costs They were professional , efficient and courteous. They worked hard without any time wasting. As prearranged they came and took away excess goods for charity at no charge . All in all they made what could have been a stressful day a lot easier - Really appreicate your hard work guys

The guys work long and hard moving a cluttered house in one day, but the bill was more than twice the quoted amount, and they didn't unload the TV, took it back to their office and didn't tell me about it, or try and deliver it. Had to drive all the way back just to get what I had paid them to deliver.
