A.Booked a taxi with Devonport Taxi service this weekend, was impressed by my driver’s service - Geoffrey.
Helped me load my bags into the car, and even brought the shopping cart back to the return point, which I did not expect he would do. Had a pleasant chat with him during the trip, making me feel welcome and at home in Tasmania.
Hotline, does cut you off if there are many people trying to book, but once you get through, the estimated time given is fairly accurate. They are polite and inform you if the service is busy, and if a delay is expected.
Perhaps investing in an app, or having a queue on the hotline would enhance the experience. Have used their service several times before since I’ve arrived in Devonport, and have been met with nothing but prompt and professional service. Drivers will wait for you to be settled in, and they make sure you wear your safety belt before they take off.
B.Great service prompt and efficient only problem is the person on the phone on Thursday night also on the radio doesn’t shut up and can be quite rude I don’t want to listen to the garbage I pay to get where I want to go but I shouldn’t have to listen to him carrying on about nothing I have travelled on multiple days and nights and hear him all the time if he wants to talk to his work mates why can’t he wait till after work and talk to them then instead of driving your customers up the wall i don’t think it’s very professional
