Used today for the first time and it's been great 😊 First booking was in advance and second was 'asap'. Both taxis arrived on time, drivers were great and the app made booking/paying really easy. Awesome taxi service, thank you!

I find them cheaper then blue palmy taxis plus Gold and Black don't charge a couple dollars for paying with ur eftpos card and any other fee they can put on u. Both companies let you use your council mobility card but with blue taxis you have to produce it straight away or they wont let you use it. I hate paywave, i won't use it but the last blue bubble taxi i was in, i went to pay with my card, was waiting 4 him 2 hand me the eftpos machine, instead he snatched my card out of my hand and paywaved it. That ticked me off. So glad we still have Gold and Black taxis.

Always on time, polite drivers in well turned out vehicles.

Exceptional customer service !!! The staff go above and beyond. Ive had them open my door (old fashioned but so sweet), they've offered to carry.my groceries or bags in (as ive had surgeries) and found it difficult. They take my girls to and from school, always treat them with utmost respect and we all receive consistency of regular drivers. Oh, the office staff, are wonderful at their jobs, very helpful, kind and keep me upto date with any changes of driver. The entire team are fantastic ! Ive used other companies and these guys are always on time or slightly early, get you to your destination with sufficient time, theyre friendly and are all about providing the best customer service. Highly recommend !!!!

very good taxi staff who i trust. I travel overseas regularly and getting a taxi brand who will attend to your call immediately is most appreciated. Like i like to checkin the flight desk counter early and I have met other taxi drivers who will delay picking me up as he thinks I am too early!!!.

No bother very helpful

Excellent service; very helpful and as I am hard of hearing, very good people who can speak clear simple English. Knows the roads of Palmerston North, and I don't have to tell them any directions. Booking service also excellent. Ashley and team are real nice as well. Know all the drivers by first name.

Paul was awesome, I will definitely use this company again. He was prompt, got me home quickly, very friendly and welcoming since we are new to town. The other popular taxi in Palmerston North was ok, but not very personable or friendly. He seemed very inconvenienced by the fact that we had groceries with us. Anyway, gold and black is the way to go.

Taxis Gold & Black answered my call straight away, the car turned up when they said they would, and got me to the airport in good time. The driver was friendly and helped with my bags. There was also no charge for eftpos, unlike the main competitor. After poor experience elsewhere, I think Taxis Gold & Black will be my first choice from now on.

Great team, very cooperative, ethical and helpful.

After using another taxi to get to our function which were not at all a professional business, I decided to use these guys. Glad I did, punctual, fast to get home and decidely cheaper than the other. I would use these guys again without doubt.

Jane is the best taxi driver I've ever had!! Could not fault her and no taxi driver can ever compare. She's awesome went above and beyond for us!

When I ring up there very friendly & sometimes drivers are slow but I always ring to confirm any pickups to make sure there on time..

Freindly respectful service. Have started using them often since the disgusting bullying incident with palmerston north taxis (who put the whole taxi industry to shame). If you want safe and practical taxis I would recommend them.
