This is just in reference to the bus stop because it is very small and not well signposted, just so you know you're at the right location. There are public toilets across the road. The bus just stops in the middle of the street as per the photos. Buses stop here going 'in both directions' i.e. to the South such as Dunedin/Invercargill and to the North such as Mount Cook, Christchurch.

I want to travel from Queenstown to Christchurch but I feel it's too expensive on the bus. I could get there on the plane for the same price

Caught the bus from Dunedin to Queenstown 2:30pm on august 17th would have to be the best bus driver I've ever come across with not just driving ability but customer service, went above and beyond in every aspect wish I got to grab his name to thank him personally!

This is the place where I hopped on to the Intercity bus to go to Milford Sound. There are no sign boards here that would confirm that this is an InterCity Bus stop. It would be great to have one. Opposite this bus stand you have two public restrooms. Behind the bus stand you have paid car parking area.

The overall trip from Queenstown to Dunedin was a great experience, through many small towns with a pee stop and eats if you wanted in Roxburgh, NZs coldest bus stop in winter, Yes we would do it again

Just off the main street of Queenstown city centre. May be a bit of a walk for travellers if they arrive late at night to different accommodation around the city.

Wonderful place to spend time in Queenstown. All Intercity and Intra city buses are available here. While going to Milford Sound we have boarded the bus from here. Parking is the issue here. Authorities should provide parking space as Queenstown attract lot of Tourists. We can find number of bars and cafes around the bus stop for quick bites

Took two separate Intercity trips from Queenstown - the first was the day trip to Milford Sound and the second was the bus to Wanaka. For both trips, drivers were very friendly and provided great commentary on the drive. For the Milford Sound, there were many photo stops along the way. Both trips ran relatively on time. It was hard to figure out what bus you were supposed to be on (many buses pick up here) - I didn’t realize my Wanaka bus was actually a van - but if you ask each driver that pulls up, they were all friendly and let you know which bus to get on.

Best breakfast ever. Awesome staff and family friendly environment. Highly recommended.

This is a generic looking bus stop on Athol Street in Queenstown. The street is right by Four Square Alpine Supermarket. There is a public washroom right next to the bus stop and is about a 5-10 minute walking distance from anywhere in Queenstown main town center.

Great service but in the wrong place for travellers. Needs to be more central. The Railway Station would be much better. Central, easily found, near to hotels and backpackers. Halsey St is nowhere for everybody.

There's not much shelter here. It's more like a normal business stop. So if it's raining you'll get wet unless you are there early enough to get a space under the shelter.

Super simple bus stop....just a halte, but you will be fine, any place in queens town was super easy and cozy

Bus frequency is not that great... check the schedule online... generally buses are on time...
