Great service for our wedding. Rhondda was a superstar and easily made changes as they came. The day came off very smoothly, thanks in credit to River City Cabs. Awesome work, thanks very much!

Been using mobility taxi with Mum today ,this service ,it's drivers need a medal , really great .Thank you .

Not a fan of trying to get from point A to point B "the long way" ... if you need a $20 fare for a 3km trip, just say so. Not the first time... and stop smoking in your cabs!

Generally the service I get from River City Cabs is good and sometimes excellent. The only frustrations I have: 1. The automated voice system which is in the Aussie accent doesn't understand the Kiwi accent - even if you talk slower and clearly - worse with Māori street names. 2. Not enough taxis rostered on during a random spike in demand. I've had to wait over an hour quite a few times. 3. High Fares. Being the only legitimate taxi service in town, a trip of only 2.5 kms costs between $12 - $14 - much pricier than an Uber would cost, but hey the reality is it's Whanganui, not Wellington. 4. Their call centre is based in Palmerston North and some call centre staff are unfamiliar with Whanganui streets and locations. I recommend downloading the SmartHail app so you don't have to talk to the stupid voice system and you can see how far away your taxi is.

Great service, even when they overwhelmed with calls, they make sure to get to as fast as is safely possible. Eco friendly cars and all the drivers Ive been with have been friendly and took the fastest route to the destination saving money, for passengers. 5 stars from me all the way.
