These guys totally satisfied my requirements for a pair of used tyres. They had the size I required in stock and when I arrived next morning they made quick work of getting them fited. Called alot of places,got many quotes from other places for 185/70r14s , the cheapest and quickest was Best Tyre and Automotive. Bought two sets of 245/40/17 for my E36 328i Great price and tyres have good tread. Only reason for me not placing 5 stars is because, my rear left tyre became unseated and leaked air overnight leaving me stuck. I assume it wasn't seated correctly.. Needed to pay $40 to the nearest tyre shop to reseat and clean.

I have made about 4-5 used tyre purchases and I have been very happy with the price and service... That is until my last purchase on Saturday 3/8/19 I supplied 2 rims at which 2 used tyres were fitted which I have to admit were muddy and not the usual clean look that ive had with purchases in the past, im guessing that they were balanced? Yesterday I had my car checked because when driving at speed exceeding 90km it just didn't feel right and at 10-20km there was a slight rock from the direction of the fitted tyre... Upon having my car checked the service man suggested re balancing tyre may solve problem? to his surprise and at which point he called me over to observe/see as the wheel was spinning there was a rise and low motion I ended up having to purchase another tyre and dont know what condition the other tyre is in but as you can imagine im not happy...

A place I would recommend to everyone, I changed 3 tyres in Jan, with very good price. When I went to WOF last week, I was told that one of changed tyres had a bit problem, so I emailed the owner of Best New Tyre, he said just take your car in to have a look. I took my car there, the gentleman who changed the tyres remembered me, and said you changed both the front tyres right, I was like "You remembered! and one of them didnt pass the WOF..." He had a look, changed it in 5 minutes, didn't charge me. I didn't even need to show my receipt..... This is one of the best service I had in NZ!!!
