Staff Attitude: Excellent Price: Very competitive, have a selection of options. Even beats Tonys Tyres. Telephone Quote: Answered a timely manner; understood what I required and offered me options. Service: Two New Tyres, Wheel Balance and Wheel alignment. Time - 30mins. I had the job completed in record time from enquiring of the phone and rolling straight into their garage. Dan and his team has genuine interest in the customers needs and has the job done to a very good standard in a timely manner. I managed to get a few things done in the 30mins it took for them to change two new tyres/wheel balance and a wheel alignment. Highly recommended. Call before to ensure booking or if you bring your vehicle in immediately.

💯 Recommend. Lady G, needed the tyres to be done as the rear tyre had a bolt and a nail in it and made a rather annoying clicking noise I am grateful that it did not blow out! So I took it into Grey Lynn and in no time waiting was minimal and we were back on the road. Thank you so much guys😎🤙 And the price was sweet for the two tyres the tip about when the tyre is bad was for free.

Rang at 10.00am to see if had the pirelli tyres I needed and Dan sorted immediately for me from supplier and they arrived at 1.00pm. Dropped car off and Dan had aligned and balanced 20 min later. These guys are slick operators and price tyres and service reasonably. Centrally located with waiting area if needed or Grey Lynn and Kingsland shops really close by.

Got a puncture repair done by these guys for one of our company cars. Actually had visited a tyre shop couple of shops before them who said they can’t do a puncture repair and we’d need to change entire tyre lol. Thanks Discount, 4 stars , just because it would have been nice if staff approached us first instead of us having to go and approach them (they weren’t busy)

Last time I visited them was when another tyre company was almost trying to force me to change all 4 tyres of my RAV4 when just one of them had to be changed due to nail on the edge. I went to Dan at Discount Tyres, Grey Lynn then to get a second opinion & he rightly told me it would be enough to change 2 tyres, one due to the nail & the other because it was worn out. This time around I went to him becoz another tyre company suggested (when I went there for a puncture fix) that I change 2 tyres immediately & that I wouldn’t clear WOF (due soon) without that etc. Dan inspected the tyres & promptly advised that the tyres can last for few months more & don’t need immediate replacement. I have to admit Dan is a welcome change in this highly commercial industry. He still has sincerity & integrity intact & does the right things. Hats off to him & hope he keeps things that way. I am sure you would keep getting repeat customers like me. Highly recommend this place & especially Dan👍

I highly recommend going to Discount Tyres. They have a great service with great prices and the people working there are very friendly. Our tyres were changed very fast and in the meantime we enjoyed a free coffee. Way better than Tonys Tyres tho. They wanted to charge us 189 bucks, Discount Tyres made it for 99.

Great service, was able to drop off punctured tyre in the morning then return before lunchtime to get the tyre re-installed after it was repaired, taking only 15-odd minutes to do so, very happy to avoid cost of new tyre and with quick efficient service from technician - cheers DT
