What a fantastic service from the very beginning. I had just been told by a major retail brand that my 20 year old trailer tyres couldn't be replaced and with no possible solution. I then contacted Hyper Drive who immediately responded and kept me fully informed, tyres have now been replaced on site at home 3 days later. Even being informed the exact time the installer would be at the house via GPS, so i have wasted no personal time at all. A FANTASTIC service, above and beyond my expectations.

Hyperdrive were good to deal with, very customer friendly. Unfortunately they need a better courier service. After dropping my vehicle in for its scheduled fitting at the installers, it turned out that my tyres hadnt been delivered. Infact it was a day and a half later when my tyres arrived for fitting. 10/10 Ken at Hyperdrive went above and beyond to help me with my car - Some back story Previously I got my cars tints done through a shop local to me and they absolutely butchered the car, bubbles and dust under the film, scratches, and the tints were actually too dark and illegal. Ken helped have my tints tested and spent the time to go over the quality of work that should be expected. Had my tints re-done through Hyperdrive and they’re perfect, a complete contrast in quality and workmanship. Thanks again bro 🙏🏼

I was an individual oblivously browsing the market, looking for a reliable alarm to secure my business vehicle. It was a hard and long road i tell you. I've talked to so many but none matches what i was looking for. Having no knowledge about security alarms that caters to what i need really made it difficult to find a match. I seek help from professionals but not all of them was there to help as most company that i approached turned me down and some even quoted with me ridiculously high price. Then google suddenly showed me HyperDrive, with full of hesitation from the previous companies I called. I dialled their number, and Ashley their receptionist answered. She was the first one who actually took time to answer all my questions and even gave me a run down of all the options and kinds of alarms that might suit my needs. After all that, she handed over the phone to someone named Michael. Out of all the people i spoke with i can say that i can hear and feel the difference of a person talking to genuinely help you, than to those who's talking to sell you something. Michael was very helpful and knowledgeable, definitely knows what he's doing. He asked questions that even i didn't thought needed. Having a complicated issue with the vehicle i wanted an alarm for, he didn't turn it down and was very much happy to take on the challenge. I just got my vehicle serviced by HyperDrive today and i can say their services are top notch and the best 👌. Other companies said it'd take a whole day since the job was difficult, HyperDrive did it half day not even. If Michael say the job was impossible, then i would say no one can. Online shopping for your prized car has never been fast & efficient! Was looking to replace both rear tyres & these guys sell a wide variety. They also have payment options for the budget-conscious (definitely myself lol). Came in this morning for the tyre fitting. The guy behind the counter said it would take about 40mins. I had a wonderful experience from buying set of 4 Laufenn tires at very very reasonable price to its fitting. I used Auckland Mobile fitting service and the guy (Luke) arrived exactly on agreed time. He brought all the new tires at my home and he replaced and balanced all the tires within 40 minutes and he also took my old tires with him. That was super fast and hassle free service. Would never go to any other tire shop again. Hyper Drive lifetime.

I’ve always had good experiences with Hyper. I do think however charging a $5 click and collect fee per tyre seems a bit off. I ordered 5 tyres meaning a $25 fee to collect. I would think the $5 fee would cover the whole order?

Ordered tyres and arranged for mobile fitting. Slight hiccup due to covid lockdown, but absolutely amazing communication. Once fitting rescheduled, they advised approx time, and on the day, they touched base 45 mins prior to arrival and they arrived exactly at the time they advised the previous day. Very responsive, and decent prices. They made an error on the order leading to the tyres I ordered not being available on the day of fitting, I ended up settled for a pair of slightly cheaper tyres. But I couldn’t back out of it as I was put on the spot and I needed to get the tyres sorted... They fitted four tyres in just under an hour. The car drives well so they seemed to have been well fitted and aligned.

I spoke to the team at Hyper requesting a quote for an audio upgrade (speaker and amp) for my 2016 Toyota Hilux. A competitive quote for a Pioneer system came back quickly, and the salesman (Allex) was very helpful and able to answer all my questions. Once I decided to follow through, the booking process was quick and simple. On the day, the job took around four hours to complete and I was provided a loan car. I only trust 2 teams with my cars - AA (for general service) and Hyperdrive(for everything else). Yes, both are not dirt cheap but, hey - you get what you pay for! Hyper Drive => Highly professional team. They stick to their words. Best thing I like about Hyper Drive team is that every time they trump my expectations. Once, they had to spend more hours than they quoted me for. However, they stuck to their word and only charged what they quoted against. This time, they could not arrange a loan car so, they promptly reimbursed me for rides to and fro. No questions asked. The quality of their job is top notch. You will not find any pieces of wires or wrappers anywhere. Trust me, I try to find a fault every-time I get back my car and every-time there is nothing but satisfaction awaiting me. :) So, if you don't mind spending some extra bucks to get a quality job done, highly recommend these guys!!

Just bought some rims off their online site. It was very easy and convenient. I have even been able to book to get my rims fitted for me on their site. Their staff helped me find rims that would fit my car, so the staff get a definite 5 star, were so helpful and amazing. Very highly recommended site to buy off of. Very happy with them!

I went to get a car alarm to fit on my car and went for the recommendation. There were other recommendation that I took as they offer me some discounts so get to pay around $1300. Ordered the wheels but I was quite half hearted on the recommendation on the 1st conversation and went back the following day to sort and change the wheel design that I prefer. (After 5 days of waiting because they're quite busy) During installation, I received a phone call from Sasha (very kind and professional staff) asking me if I can let them leave my car till the next day as they says that it needs more time for the tint installation and wheels, but the alarm system was about to finish in half an hour. So I went to back around 3:30pm, then now they told me that the wheels that I requested was not complete and there are only 2 been delivered. I've already sacrifice the whole day not working and didn't even get a loan car so I can work for the day. They offered me back the 1st choice since they have it on their stocks, I just agreed in the end (I have no choice I need to get back to work the following day). The issue were handled professionally during the conversation, but not knowing all the details and having it all ready the products is not acceptable. The only offer I got was use what they have or wait again for the correct wheels that I wanted. I've already given a day and I can't afford again to block off some time if they wanted to fit the correct wheels. I think that phone call that asking me to move the deadline the following day, they already knew that the wheels were not complete and will try another day before they get the wheels for my car. Looking over and over at the wheels on my car, I'm still half hearted and now I'm not happy. *I also noticed that the edges still greasy and looks like it hasn't even wiped and cleaned. I should have just cancel that transaction so I don't have this feeling that I didn't get what I really wanted after spending that amount. I always buy and fitted tyres on this shop since 2013. And the last time, I had my tyre change was also unpleasant experienced with the staff that didn't care to rotate the brand new tyre as recommended. One lady staff assist me and gave me a discounted price for the wheel balanced. I would still wanted to try a next visit when I'm ready to change my tyres and hopefully I can also get another new sets of wheels that I wanted. Hopefully someone there would really pay a good attention for someone who was a loyal patron over the years and had recommended to most of my friends. I may have a 5 star rating by then. I only wanted a car alarm but in the end I spent more than what I really planned. Thank you for all those years. Cheers! PS: A great phone by Sasha and offered back the choice of wheels that i was after. Again, this deserve more than just 5 star services and hopefully this will go further. Absolutely awesome service from these guys! Needed to replace a tyre from my wof, had a spare and they were only going to charge me $10 to replace and rotate my tyres. The person serving me managed to upsell me two tyres instead (as mine were going bald, so no point just replacing one) and they were cheap as there was a 40% discount at the time. Great for tyres if you know what you want. Prices on a website are hugely convenient. I saved about 150 dollars which paid for the 90 dollar wheel alignment and I got a better tyre. Suited to people who don't mind searching through online tyre reviews and tests as It is pretty confusing as unless you look at different tyre tests there is no way to determine which tyre is best for you or how they comparatively perform for handing, breaking, wear etc. Installation was fast and online. Wouldn't say as friendly as my favourite team at Autotreads onehunga.

The first day of the lvl3 lockdown I got a huge puncture and being classed as essential, I needed 2 new tyres fitted. ordered without issue online, got a great discount and they fitted them mobile at my house. The guy who fitted them, sadly I didn't get his name, was awesome, he not only sorted 2 new tyres for me, he swapped them around and made sure all were torqued up. even made sure my spare was all sorted and cleaned threads and nuts as he went. The few times Ive been its been very busy so keep that in mind but I had to check myaelf that all the services I booked in were completed and it turned out that they hadn't been so I had to wait again. I just had some basic tyre installs and alignments the work was fine and they are reasonably quick. Staff were nice too. Just be sure to check that all the services you paid for are done, the booking system seems to be at fault.

I ordered 4 set of tyres and it was delivered to me in less than 24hours whereas i was expecting it in the next 3 to 5 business days. Hyperdrive is flexible and meet customer's demand whenever possible. It was a right choice to have my tyres from them. Good job and keep it up.

Very happy with my new tires. I checked the tire pressure afterwards and found each one was about 42+/- psi - lucky I checked.... The whole process of fitting, balancing and alignment took about 1.5hrs which wasn't too bad. Tires are very good on the road; not noisy. Pricing was better than all other places I considered.

It’s my first time to purchase from Hyperdrive website however the experience wasn’t as smooth as I expected. If I didn’t make a follow up i wouldn’t know that the item I’ve purchased was ready for pick up (it seems that their click and collect option is not as great as what’d expect). No notification sent through email or text, the order tracking link included in the order confirmation email wasn’t working. This isn’t a rant but rather to let you know of things that maybe you could improve on?

When I walked into Hyper Drive I was pleasantly surprised, and I genuinely thought it would be a 5 star experience. The store is really nice, with lots of exciting products and brochures around. I was on time for my booking, and I was met with a smile at the counter. The first disappointment (perhaps as an automotive enthusiast who is also involved in the trade) was the total disconnect between workshop and waiting area. I understand that customers aren't allowed into the workspace due to H&S concerns, but this experience felt lab-like and more suited to someone who prefers a total disconnect. I mean, what's a tyre change without the sound of rattle guns :) Secondly, it took an hour to have two tyres fitted and balanced (one out of the spare wheel well). I know that's excessive, and it felt very much like I simply joined the queue, and the booking time may have been meaningless from a customer perspective. There were lots of sales staff around, but I was never approached by any of them while I circled the store. They did approach others, so perhaps they knew that I was just there for tyres. In the end, when my car was done, someone drove it out and parked it at the front, and hurried back to the workshop. Noticing an absence of staff at the counter, I walked out and inspected the car myself. I then went back in and waited at the counter a fair while before being handed my keys (by an entirely different person). I'll be back though. They probably do better on weekdays. My advice would be to have a staff member dedicated to a waiting customer, like most shops do.

Got a complete sound system installed in my vehicle almost 2 years ago. The battery on my vehicle died and as a result reset all the system settings, as the system was tuned to my car and steering wheel functions. Phoned Hyperdrive and they told me to come in immediately and they would tune the system free of charge and straight away, they did! Also sought a quote for a friends vehicle, a starter kit for a teenager setting off. Very helpful informative service. Would recommend this place to others!

Often have sales so prices can be lower than elsewhere. If in Auckland don't do click and collect online as they charge you a $5 "admin fee. Just call ahead to make sure they have it in stock and go into the store in Onehunga and get it with no extra charge. They did this promptly while providing excellent customer service and a gift voucher. Original review below I have ordered 2 sets of tyres twice from here. First time 6 months ago and again just the other day. Both times the orders got mucked up. First time they sent the wrong tyres, I didn't know until I went to get them fitted on a the booked day - a weekday which I took off as annual for this purpose - and the tyre centre said the tyres didn't fit and were the wrong size. Hyperdrive couldn't correct this for 6 days. Order was refunded. Tyres sent were 18 inch rim instead of 19 inch, I had to alert HyperDrive to their mistake. Due to the simple nature of the online setup I tried again because everyone makes mistakes and cant hold one time error against a company. I ordered two tyres two days ago, to be fitted near where I live on a Saturday. Today I have been informed that the Tyre Service place that was offered to me for fitting cannot actually fit ANY tyres above a 16 inch rim. This meant they didn't send out my order and I cannot have my tyres fitted until probably Tuesday which requires more work time. Note they knew this and still offered it online - i.e they created the issue even with the right information. I organised for 10am saturday so I could leave Auckland for the weekend. Now I can't. These tyres were for a Warrant. I have requested a refund from this as well and am waiting my answer. Note - they make no offer to reimburse, or offer anything in exchange for the time they waste and poor service. The risk is 100% on the customer and not on them. If something goes wrong, tough luck. The most you can hope for is a refunded. HyperDrive through poor Quality Control has turned what should be two fairly simple things into massive headaches for me and wasted a large chunk of my time. It really bugs me that most tyre places don't openly advertise the prices of their tyres. As a consumer, it makes it very hard to compare prices without spending a lot of time on the phone or waiting for emails or even driving round from one place to another. This is the 21st century - things should be easier. Bought some tyres online from Hyper Drive. Great selection and a great price for some quality tyres (Boxing Day sale). Easy as to purchase and book online. And they have lay-by options! Only cons: - There is only one fitting place in the Wellington region and it’s all the way out near Petone (Carter’s). Please add more near Wellington city - The wheel alignment machine was out of action at Carters and apparently has been for a while. There was no mention of the unavailable service when choosing the fitting location through Hyper Drive.

Update: Ok so there were some problems with the initial install. But I can confirm that their warranty system is 100% reliable. Everything is now fixed and aimed correctly and the difference is amazing. Original Review: Was quoted two prices from them to install audio in my car. First quote $300 then second quote was $200. So I drop my car off get a call, 'we cant install for that price' because they didnt realise I had ordered components and dynamat door kit. Now the price is $350. I can understand the confusion around dynamat as the second quoter didnt realise I had changed from speaker kit to door kit. But I had come in and discussed components, then ordered them, waited 3 weeks for them to come in, several emails and a visit mentioning them, and they still didnt realise they're components. Originally in the first install the right sail pod where the tweeters are mounted would no longer sit flush, half the seal had been ripped off. So when I had a smoke when its was raining, water was now going into the tweeter pod. The tweeters were also angled towards the windscreen. Now under warranty they repositioned the tweeters into the A Pillar and everything is good. Although I must check if the hole in the sail pod is sealed, no biggy if its not I can just add some sealant inside the pod. The amp has now been repositioned so I can access the gains without removing the seat. Rear rattle has been addressed, I really cant ask for more than what they did trying to find it. Update: can confirm that its completely gone. Bottom Line. These guys have really good prices on their stock. I wouldnt hesitate to buy stuff from them again. Install wise, if something goes wrong they will fix it. I would recommend them, particularly on the strength of their warranty system. Anyway car sounds great now and im more than happy.
