My experience with Albany’s Tony’s Tyre Service was brilliant! I was not the ideal customer for them but they went above and beyond to accommodate my specific requirements. Communication was quick, as was the service itself. The lads in there were so polite, friendly and conscientious. I discovered they were only a five minute walk away from the Albany Mall so I took a very pleasant stroll, sat and had morning tea, did a little shopping and they called me as soon as it was finished. Best of all, they gave me hands down the most competitive price! This included everything – no hidden extras and they even polished my wheels at the end of it. I’d trust them to work on my car again. I highly recommend these boys. No question – Five stars – They earned it!

These guys are so accommodating. I got a nail in my tyre at school pick up at Albany bus station. I managed to get my car to Tony's and within 40 minutes my tyre had a been repaired. I can't thank them enough for making a stressful event less so!!!!

Mohit gave a very competitive price after I rejected the first offer from someone else. Phoned to confirm, they could help me immediately, and before my free coffee was finished they were. And they offer a free 6 monthly tyre rotation. What's not to like?

We turned up just before closing time on Sunday with a puncture, the on duty manager Abid Ali stayed on for 90mins passed closing to ensure all his customers were seen too as well as getting me and my family back safely on the road. We are very grateful thank you Abid!

I have had a bad experience with Tony Tyre recently but O Boy !!!............... what a tremendous VIP treatment I have got after that. Whithin an hour I have received a call back from regional manager advising they have started investigation about the incident and I have offered special perks and lots of freebies as a token of courtesy. The regional manager has definately succeeded in loosing me as a customer. Awesome work done, even most branded companies won't be able to give this much of care to their customer which I have received from Tony Tyre and their Managers today.

Initially I gave them a one star as they replaced my battery with the wrong type, which can potentially damage the electronics of my car. I have a start-stop vehicle which requires a special battery. In addition the new battery was not securely fitted. However, after the initial review they contacted me and refunded the full amount of the battery, hence the 3 stars.

Quick service (4 tyres=1.5 hrs) prices ok extras are a fact of life in the way they market once you are there but that's everywhere these days. I chose to replace a fan belt and one rear shock absorber which were marginal but they showed me the old ones and gave me the option.(another couple of hours) total $1500

Twice I have been there. Seperare vehicles . both times its been top notch service and the first was booked in , and completed on time . the second was a different vehicle and I just drove up. I had shopped around , including trademe. I found Tony's to be the best quality , with warranty , at the cheapest price. I was given a ln excellent deal including a spare wheel tyre as well as the 4 for 3 deal . these tyres + alignment now saving me huge money on petrol. Every day I feel glad of the service and care they took. I played a role as if I knew nothing about deals or cars. They were so helpful and informative and did not try upsell anything I didn't need. Honestly(on reading other reviews)whatever issues this stores had in the past they have rectified that. The waiting room is great , coffee machine , hot choc . 5 star

Got 4 new tyres fitted aligned balanced . A sidewall/ damage insurance and a repeat alignment service pack all for a good price . And they got my steering wheel straight first go which the last place said 3 times they couldn't and that it was the best they could do. Thanks Nitin and crew . And I got 6 months interest free . A bit gutted to find my need to get the two front tires replaced actually ended up with all four (the rear right was munted) and they were doing a 4 for 3 deal. But that was not their fault. Did see me at short notice but I think I was lucky as they had to turn a few people away with similar expectations. Can't fault them. Just grumpy about my bill c'est la vie!
