A.After feeling let down by all the sales tactics of other tyre companies (up selling or being waaay too expensive in the first place) I was recommended to go to Drury Tyres. They were awesome! Straight to the point, listened to what I wanted and needed and had significantly better prices than all the other companies I had been. So glad I went there and will be back next time I need a tyre. J.My original review was 1 star because of my unfortunate experience. However, after speaking with Anthony over the phone I understand it was a misdiagnosis and shocks should be fitted together. R.I needed a hard to get tyre for a 1988 Corvette, namely 255/50 R16. unfortunately these are not available in NZ or, it seems, in the US. However, Drury Tires were able to supply Kumho 245/50 tyres for my 16" rims.
Service was very prompt and Anthony discussed my requirements before the order went through. I booked in an alignment as well as fitting the new tyres. What a difference that made to the handling!

A.Unable to move from my lane i went over a rock in my lane (resembling more a rock than a stone like the difference between a millionaires bank balance & my own which would be the stone in this scenario, or pebble). The only peice of luck was it occurring a few streets from Drury Tires (the rock coming from a truck working in a new subdivision) as when i went over it instinct told me i wouldnt need clairvoyant skills to predict the decreasing available balance in my aforementioned bank account, much as i soon confirmed the equally decreasing air in my tyre. Reaching Drury Tires & with approximately 15 minutes before closing a member of staff immediately came to me, took down my details, assessed the visible damage, & patiently allowed me to recount the Great Drury Rock Ambush carefully separating information that would be useful in checking possible damage from a quarry size volume of waffle. He had two members of staff already beginning to bring equipment noting the low level jack required without any forth & back with the regular jacks in use. Despite my help they quickly sourced the lock nut key(lock nuts? key where?) & had the wheel off. I had heard the escaping air but seen no damage & the same riddle was presenting itself to the 2 staff members. With no need to point out their superior riddle solving abilities they showed me where this rock of malevolence had left my tyre intact but punched a hole inside the rim itself. When a senior member of staff told me the rim would be sent away for welding & the acts required to make it "as it was" i stood on ever more wobbly legs when a series of numbers said to be the estimate began to be recited. I heard the numbers two, then three, zero & expecting an echo of zeros or new numbers my onsetting panic attack went away like i was momentarily also able to do with the spare tyre fitted, no more numbers uttered & hardly 2 minutes spent in the waiting area which was a shame because a nicer waiting area I'm yet to see, when you consider returning simply to spend quality time in the waiting area you know they've got it right. The day after the next i was called to let me know my wheel was ready at "my" convenience to be fitted. The Hubble telescope may have detected the repair but I with my mere human eyes was challenged to a loss. When paying the account the price though had changed from what was mentioned,....it was less. Rim repaired, tyre refitted, balancing now at the price of $200 only. Since when do you get to tell a happy puncture story. All service was professional, skilled & nice genuine people. Not only say, average Japanese cars, this was a high end European car so though they are well known for affordability the make of vehicle can run the range. In the pitiful amount of time i did "wait" i could see they do a comprehensive range of mechanical services. I would have total confidence returning or recommending Drury Tyres from my experience. I felt put at ease & able to trust the the work they did. Impressed.
G.In September 2019 Drury Tires installed a new battery on our car. Recently, the battery died while still under guarantee. However, as we had since shifted up to Waipapa in the Far North we thought that we would be out of luck in getting it replaced. We contacted Drury Tires who paid to have a new replacement battery couriered up to us. However, the positive and negative posts were the wrong way around. After we had told them of this problem, Drury Tires couriered a new one up to us and couriered the first one back to their business. We were really pleased with this service and the fact that we didn't have to pay a courier charge. We had dealt with Drury Tires for many years and always received excellent service. Many firms would not have bothered with us; they would have told us to bring the battery in for exchange. So thank you Drury Tires for going to so much effort. It was really appreciated and is an example in customer relations to other firms

R.I'm another happy customer came in for brand new battery, was sorted out by Jordan. Was here on the 07/03/21 for 4 brand spanking new Black Lion low pros and was sorted out from Jordan aswell awesome service guys. Let's hope there is wa warranty on the battery.

V.I should have come to Drury Tires years ago. I'm happy with the administration service via online and one on one, thank you Jordan for your help. The customer experience is comfortable and relaxed. It's a bit far away from where I live but, I will start coming here for future wheel needs including nitrogen fills and also WOF and car servicing as the prices to me seem good and the quality of the service and experience to me is reliable and trustworthy. l.This is the best place for hard-to-find rims! After ringing around the whole country and getting no joy...Anthony was the only person to find a solution. Really appreciate the effort he put in. Good old-fashioned Kiwi service from a business that genuinely wants to help.

K.I got a flat tyre on my way to pick my kids up from school. Completely panicked, I called Drury Tires and explained my situation. They advised me to drop the tyre off on my way past (on my spacer), continue on to get my kids, and they would repair it before I got back to their yard and pop it on for me - and they did. Just excellent customer service, completely alleviated my panic. I am grateful and would highly recommend them based on this experience.

They had my tyres which usually need to be ordered days in advance.
And the waiting area includes large outdoor picnic tables, chairs and umbrellas. There are a variety of refreshments available from a portacom and another indoor waiting area next to that.
Ended up having a great conversation with some of the loyal, local customers who say they wouldn't go anywhere else.
And as for pricing ... ligit great.
Needless to say, "I'll be back!"
