I came here for a tire inspection of my new-to-me car. He said they could still get another 10-20k out of them before needing to change them, but just keep my eyes on them if they get worse. L.I can’t fault tyrepower! The best customer service in town. As an essential worker during lockdown my tyres were sorted! Another visit with my hubbys car the tyres needed rotating but I desperately needed to get groceries and time wasn’t on my side. Alex not only gave me the courtesy car, but a bunch of shopping bags too! Made my morning in town super easy! Thanks Alex for always going the extra mile. All the staff are helpful and friendly.

B.Update review - Oct 2018
Went back for the free car health check yesterday as part of our nitrofill tyre plan. Didn't have any expectations as I knew their service was first rate but again they surprised me. I stopped by without appointment and they looked at the car right away while I had a free coffee.
It takes a lot to impress me but I think this is possibly the best business I have ever come across worldwide for customer service. But dont believe me, take a look at the awards on the wall. I spotted them yesterday.
And for the sceptical - no I'm not a relation or an employee!

Outstanding service. Shane is really approachable and friendly. Professional and knowledgeable in person and on phone beforehand. Was given lots of advice on unrelated parts of the car. Will definitely go back.
We had 2 new midrange tyres at $150 each (inclusive of labour and balancing), wheel alignment at $89 and nitrogen fill in tyres at $40 Inc for the life of the tyres. Nitrogen lasts longer than air apparently so only need 6 monthly pressure checks.
Toilets, free tea and coffee. Waiting area. 2 courtesy cars.
T.Very friendly team and great customer service. Sit back and relax with a free hot drink while they fix your car. Couldn’t ask for better. Walked in and was seen straight away. Great prices all round.
J.Awesome service from first phone contact right through to tyre repair. Best service and priced well better placed than most competitors. Even removed a bearing from wheel for me. Good old fashioned helpful and talented. Good on you tyrepower.

N.A very friendly and helpful team, with good knowledge. They can do puncture repairs rather than replacing tyres, for a donation to charity. They seem to carry a wide range of tyres and can order others, and their prices are comparable to other tyre retailers, but with a better level of customer service! Highly recommended.

B.I drove over a nail in my new car. I took it to Tyrepower only to discover that I didn't have the correct lock nut key in my car. Shane drove to a car dealer, borrowed a key and repaired the tyre at no cost (other than a request for a donation to the Ronald McDonald charity). They later delivered a lock nut key to my house, again at no charge. Truly remarkable service guys! I'd recommend you to anyone.

C.These guys are BRILLIANT. We suffered a flat tyre and our car does not have a spare (inflatable gel only) and our tyre was split on the sidewall. Shane took our phone call on Sunday night while he was at dinner with his family and came and looked at the tyre on his way home. Monday morning he sourced a tyre to get us back home to Whangaparaoa and at what can only be discribed as a 'bloody good price'! That is Service and Value!!! V.I cannot rate these guys highly enough!! It is so strange to actually receive proper customer service in today's society! The team have gone out of their way to help me with my difficult sized tyres and have helped find the best solution possible. Instead of dismissing me as being to hard to help and too much work, like other places have, they steeped up and looked outside the box to find a way to help me.
