Me and my girlfriend arrived in Auckland not having a clue about the whole ‘backpacker’ experience/way of living. We saw the BWT shop across from our hostel and the guys looked really nice in there so we decided to pop in. Josh who we spoke to helped us so much and was so amazing, he helped us book our entire trip around New Zealand including coach plans and activities, he had knowledge of every place so was able to tell us what the best places were to go and what the best things to do were. Thanks to him all the stress of organisation was taken away and we were able to just enjoy New Zealand. Along the way we picked up a couple of issues due to certain activities being cancelled and us wanting to stay in certain places longer and josh was able to resolve this within 10 minutes or so of emailing him. As soon as we arrived back in Auckland after doing our full tour we popped back in to see josh and he helped us plan our entire trip around Australia, again he had full knowledge of all the good places to visit and all the good activities to do. He made a full timetable plan for us and booked every coach journey for us, due to this our time in Australia was made so enjoyable and stress free. If you are looking to travel I would 100% recommend talking to Backpackers World Travel and if you are lucky enough to be in Auckland when looking to book your whole experience go and talk to Josh!

These guys were awesome! Booked a month and a half trip with a chap named Jack, he was super helpful, explained everything thoroughly, unlike many agents you speak to who keep some costs hidden! He booked everything from hostels, trips, tours, you name it! Was a great trip, and just wanted to say thanks for making it possible!! :)

We visited Waitomo Glow Worm Caves , Ruakuri Cave to see the stalactites, stalagmites and more Glow Worms and then on to Hobbiton which was a real treat for anyone who is a fan. Greatday out. Booked my Australia East Coast and Outback trip with Josh. He has been nothing but kind through the whole process from hundreds of questions and myself constantly annoying him over the last couple of months. Backpackers World Travel in Auckland did a great arrangement for my family 2 weeks trips, the staff ate very friendly, organized and smiling. I made more than 14 big actions from skydiving, bunjy jumps, salling, private airplanes to Milford sound, walk on Auckland tower and the bridge and caves with Traditional night. All actions in Auckland, Rotroua and queens town. They helped me so quickly and kept serving us until end of our family trip of family of 6 persons. Also they provided me with quick refund for crusie trip that was canceled because of weather conditions. i recommend them to any visitors.

If you are looking for discounted travel options in Auckland and around New Zealand, I highly recommend going to Backpackers World Travel in Auckland. I was only in New Zealand for 1 day, but Vera was able to get me a discounted ticket to bungy jump off the Auckland Bridge. Vera was very nice, knowledgeable and answered any questions I had. Once at the bungy jump site they confirmed that what I paid at Backpackers World Travel is in fact cheaper than what I would of paid had I just showed up at their store. Thanks again Vera! P.S If u ever get a chance to bungy in New Zealand I highly recommend that too!
