R.With Covid shutting NZ's travel options down, I was looking for a surprise for my wife and son. I chose Helicopter Me solely due to my email/phone interactions as I was impressed with their response and professionalism. I am so glad we did.
Our pilot was great - super informative and made us realise, as Aucklanders we really didn't know as much about our own city as we should. The volcano/Harbour tour was visually stunning and I (we) would highly recommend it for a brilliant experience.

H.Such an awsome experience! The instructor was friendly and made you felt welcome and relaxed. I had control of the craft from just after takeoff and completed a full hour flight with only minimal help. Would highly recommend this to anyone who dreams of becoming a heli pilot or just wants to experience flying one.

S.What an experience - now from their new pad next to Auckland Harbour!
We spontaneously decided to book a helicopter flight during our stay in Auckland to get the best views of the city and the islands in the bay.
Rebecca from HelicopterMe wrote back to us immediately in the morning, and so we booked a ride in a luxurious Eurocopter.
The weather was not perfect on that day, so we waited together with our pilot until it stopped raining. What shall I say - the sun came out when we were airborne and we got all the views we wanted.
The ride is definitely worth it.
As written in the headline, the bonus is that they have a new pad next to Auckland Harbor, very conveniently located near downtown Auckland. That is the icing on the cake for a perfect experience!

We also have a raving review from my parents who flew, and said their pilot Tim was so lovely and landed like a pro!

B.Flew to Waiheke using the Mudbrick lunch as part of a surprise birthday for my wife. AJ was helpful and proactive with updates on weather and keeping the all important secret. Further emphasising the experience was the Mudbrick vineyard staff who greeted and sat us straight from the Helicopter. Amazing experience that we wont forget any time soon

I was organising the booking from overseas and Rebecca could not have been more accommodating, answered all of my questions promptly and helped my through the booking process. During our stay we had some issues with the weather and we were kept up to date regarding time changes ect along the way, not once did I have to call to see what was going on. Our pilot was great and very understanding of us running slightly late as we also departed that day, the flight itself was an amazing experience. Could not recommend their services more. M.Living in Australia now I returned yesterday with my hubby to show him the sights of Auckland. To get your bearings on the city I would highly recommend the #helicopterMe before you do anything else. The sea surrounding Auckland moderates the temperature and the only way to see how much water surrounds Akl is to have a birds eye view. We did this trip about 11 years ago and great to do it again. Great pilot and fabulous experience for me and Hubby.Danny was transferred from a wheelchair into the helicopter so don’t let inaccessibility put u off. Very safe, Tim went over the door mechanism, seat belt and floatation device as flying over water. He talks to you on the head set and always checks that you are feeling safe and no concerns.
