W.Well organised ferry service to Waiheke Island.
W.Went to Great Barrier Island.. 5 hour trip via boat.. would not recommend if you are sea sick.. they have a cafe & a play room & movie room to keep the kids entertained down below.
Apart from that great trip for me.. not so much the kids lol
J.Fine way to travel to Aotea Great Barrier but currently don't seem to be opening their Cafe on board, so bring your own food and drink.

A.Top marks to the ground and loading crew for helping me out of a pickle. I mucked up my bookings by accidentally buying a return ticket for the wrong day. They were super friendly about it and somehow managed to squeeze me onboard so i wouldn't be left stranded on the island. I'm very grateful and impressed at how accommodating the team were. Thank you so much. You really made my day.

J.Ferry trip itself was great, simple but efficient, timely and reasonably priced for a small ferry for an over an hour long trip. A few things could be improved, the booking system is a bit clunky, especially trying to do it on smartphone, and finding the ferry terminal isn't as simple as it could be, some decent signage wouldn't hurt. The info is on the web, but you have to dig a bit, so maybe clearer info in the booking email would be useful. All in all, pretty good. Staff are friendly 👍.
E.Car ferries are always on time and usually efficient and helpful. The only downfall is their prices are sky high and have definitely snuck up over the last year or so. It would be great if the sealink car ferry offered more deals from time to time, not just for the waiheke locals but for the Auckland locals too!
M.The staff that guide the cars in and off were amazing, professional and very patient. However, what's stopping me from giving 5 stars and really truly bumping my rating down is the behaviour of the cafe staff. Had been standing and trying to get the attention of the cafe staff without results as they had headphones in and on their phone. It's perfectly understandable that working the same route every day with little can do does get boring, however, it would've been better not to see the observation and perhaps for the staff to appear more discreet when on your phone.
O.Very easy service we had here and no fuss at all. Hoping there would be more deals for family with infants and cars on board.

R.Staff member was a bit harsh and up for an argument after we accidently drove in the wrong way, due to lack of signs. We were told to go across the road to unload, which meant crossing back with loads of gear on a busy trucking road.

People use the SeaLink ferry services for a multitude of reasons, and the small team that keep the journeys going have some extremely challenging g conditions (not the least of which is "'unwell/disheveled passengers).
I've used Sealink services as tourist, commuter and as 'tradie on a mission's at 6am. The team members always present a cordial and professional persona - but I've been truly pleased to experience their pleasant, friendly and very helpful team spirit (myself, or observed with others eg hectic 'young mums').
S.Always good to be able to catch a ferry from here rather then Half Moon Bay...especially if you have just travelled down from up north. Staff are always friendly😊
G.The Wynward Wharf area is great for waiting around as there's tons of bars as there's nothing really for the ferry building itself. It gets a little tight getting into your lines at this wharf but not too bad; get there 30 min early or so. You may have to reverse into the ferry itself depending on which type it is, but you've got a lot of wide room to do so. Exiting is gentle and easy.

C.I had to pick up 2× wheeled Earthmoving machines from the ferry with a truck & trailer but they didn't want me to load in the carpark even though it was empty? Which made it dangerous for me to load out on the road!
