V.Travel Designers have been amazing for us in these turbulent times. When Covid first hit, Jo-Anne was able to cancel & get full refunds for our very expensive extended trip to Europe, for which we were very impressed & very grateful.
But it is our most recent experience with her that has left us amazed. Our son was due to return home to NZ from China after having lived there for nearly 3 years. Working with Jo-Anne 3-4 months ago we were very fortunate to secure an MIQ booking & travel arrangements.
Then last week, 12 hours before he was due to depart, it all went pear-shaped:
• a last minute flight change by Air China meant he would no longer be able to make his connecting Air NZ flight to NZ via Shanghai;
• Jo-Anne worked with her amazing contacts at Air NZ to find another non-Air NZ route home (via Guangzhou) so he didn’t miss his MIQ booking;
• she had to juggle bookings to ensure his PCR test achieved a 48-hour active window within China & 72-hour window for NZ;
• she also needed to ensure that he did not exceed an 8-hour layover within China which would have triggered a 2-week quarantine requirement (his final layover was 7 hours & 55 mins);
• all in all a total of 7 flight changes to ensure that all the above was achieved!
Through it all Jo-Anne was calm, communicative, and always had a plan. She made what appeared to be a hopeless situation workable.
In the age where everyone thinks they can book their own travel online & directly, Jo-Anne has proven time & time again why this is such a specialist area.
I unreservedly recommend Jo-Anne & Travel Designers.
W.I would like to share the exceptional service delivered by Rose and the team at Travel Designers. With Auckland going into Alert level 3 on Wednesday and myself needing to get back to Christchurch, I let my fingers do the walking and called Rose directly @ 1100 pm Tuesday night. Within 30 minutes myself and a work colleague had our original flights cancelled and new flights booked for the following morning. This is why we use Travel Designers for all our travel requirements because nothing is ever a problem and when we encounter a problem it is resolved in a very professional manner and with haste, this lending more time to focus on organisational objectives and outcomes plus stress-less nights sleep! Once again the works completed for this account is very much appreciated and I look forward to many more hassle free travel engagements with Travel Designers Ltd.
J.My wife and I have used the services of Rose Ennis at Travel Designers for over seven years and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.
We have been very satisfied with the service we have received which has gone beyond the call of duty. When we leave New Zealand and travel to the Northern Hemisphere we tend to go for six weeks and visit several countries and stay at various different establishments. Rose at Travel designers sorts out the best rout to take and proceeds to create a schedule for us which has always been very efficient and cost effective.
Rose has been very proactive in advising us and warning us of any possible hitch in our travel plans even to the extend of contacting us while we were overseas to inform us of an unavoidable change in our plans.
Last year we booked a South American tour with Rose and we were delighted with the whole experience.
This year we had planned to visit Europe again and to benefit from cheaper fares we booked early. This was before Covid -19 hit us with all the travel restrictions. Rose has worked tirelessly and obtained the bulk of our refunds and is working on the rest. I am sure that if I had booked on line we would not have had such success.
My wife and I highly recommend Travel Designers as a travel agent and we are sure that you won't be sorry.

P.I've been dealing with Jo-Anne and the team at Travel Designers for some 15 years now. Recently I needed to book tickets for my family to travel to Europe right in the middle of the worldwide Covid 19 pandemic. As usual Jo-Anne and her team were amazing, and organised everything perfectly.

J.I had book my flight during covid 19, when there was very limited flights available and Jo Anne director of travel designers helped me to book my confirmed ticket, Moreover She has helped me to provide information on travel restrictions across Hongkong and Vancouver. She spoke to Air Zealand and Cathy pacific staff for confirmation of flights. I will advise everyone to book flights through Travel Designers.
A.Jo-Anne Khor from Travel Designers Ltd has given us outstanding advice and service. Prior to Covid19 Lockdown she arranged an amazing tour for us to Scandinavia. Sadly, during Covid 19 Lockdown Jo-Anne had to completely dismantle our tour and arrange the refunds due to us. This was a complicated and time consuming process, yet she managed to arrange for the return of all our funds, apart from a minor amount that we were able to claim back on insurance. During this time Jo-Anne's own business and life was imploding around her, yet through it all she remained totally professional and responsive to our needs.
We cannot praise Jo-Anne highly enough.

W.Just wanted to comment on the superior service by Travel Designers in firstly organising a complex round-the-world trip for the two of us, and then sadly due to Covid-19, having to "de-organise" all of this. A mammoth task and superbly dealt with by Rose Ennis. We have used Travel Designers before with excellent results!

We have just returned from our Alaskan trip you organised and can't thank you enough for the excellent itinerary you arranged.
Highlights without a doubt were the heli ride/dog sledding out of Anchorage on the Kanik River/Glacier, the salmon fishing on the Kenai River and the Uncruise Fiord trip from Juneau to Sitka over 6 nights.
The scenery and excursions on inflatables and canoes were special as was the overall cruise experience, we could not fault Uncruise's service at all.
Overall Jo, a fantastic time from which we can only but acknowledge your excellent arrangements and professionalism. The only slight blip was my wife catching the 3 largest salmon on our day trip, naturally I was more interested in sightseeing .....!
