An absolute MUST DO if you're in the area! Such a fun day with lots of information about the local area! If you love cliff jumping there's some awesome spots along the way too! Thanks Whitney for being such a great guide! X

Had a great time on the river. I particularly appreciated the guide's knowledge about the history and ecology of the river, and of course playing around on several easy rapids. Although it was very safe anyway, the guide was well equipped to ensure a very safe trip.

We enjoyed a really nice relaxing kayak down a beautiful calm river. Shane was very friendly and made for a very relaxing tour. The scenery is absolutely beautiful and your guide will take pictures of you and email them all to you at the end. Thanks for a great tour!

It was a beautiful location with great scenery. The paddling was quite easy but definitely really fun. Shane was really friendly and was full of knowledge about the area aswell as some good stories. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to do some kayaking up that way.

Just had a wonderful afternoon Kayaking down the Pelorus River. The Owner, Shane, and our guide for the day was kind, relaxed and very knowledgeable about the amazing history of the area as well as providing info on The Hobbit filming. This is one of the best things you could do for an afternoon (or morning) whilst on the South Island!

My wife and I did the Hobbit kayak tour with Peter and Shane, and were not disappointed. It was a beautiful and fun tour with an awesome swimming hole half way through. Peter was our guide and was very knowledgeable in regards to the area and the movie filming locations. A must if you are going anywhere near Blenheim.

I got a fantastic experience paddle down the beautiful Pelorus river. I was kayaking for the first time but everything went very well thanks to Shane (the guide). The scenery was great and I definitely recommend this kayaking tour to anyone visiting Havelock & Marlborough Sounds.

Had an excellent experience kayaking the Pelorus River with guide Lorraine. Operation was well organized and our guide made every effort to foster a sense of camaraderie between tour participants. Tour included a filming location for The Hobbit movie, and a fantastic swimming area where we could jump out of our kayaks and enjoy the warm waters of the Pelorus River.

I did the Pelorus River Kayaking with Shane earlier this year and it was awesome! Really easy kayaking, all the gear and instruction you need as well as some really interesting stops along the way. Great half day out! Cheers Shane!

Amazing adventure and great time! We went on the Barrel run down the Pelorus River and it was relaxing/fun/scenic/exciting all at the same time. The guide was both knowledgeable and friendly! Definitely worth taking the time to do!
