S.My husband and I went on the Southern Sky Stargazing Tour with Kylie as our AMAZING guide. We cannot speak more highly of the experience. Kylie was incredibly knowledgeable, funny, and goes the extra mile (picking us up from our accommodation, catering to veganism, and staying later because of the summer skies). Effective communication from the very moment we booked. Strongly recommend to anyone and everyone. We hope to come back in the winter!!
J.100% kiwi, 100% awesome. Had a great day out around Dunedin city and along the peninsular. Super knowledgeable, super friendly, you can tell they enjoy it. Comfortable van and excellent driving made the experience especially relaxing. I was able to see everything I wanted and a whole lot I didn't consider, so thank you. Mihi ki a koe James.
H.Went on half day tour. Bush walk and talk about plants then down to sea shore to check out some seals. Great view of albatross young flying overhead, seagulls nesting and their young. Finally great view of little blue penguins coming home at night.
Very educational and an enjoyable time, thank you.
Have great video of penguins but to long to post.
P.My husband and I and two friends went on the Southern Sky Stargazing Tour, led by Kylie. It was really amazing. She shared so much knowledge of the stars, as well as Maori stories of their beliefs about stars and how they used them to navigate. Tour right on time; very professional and friendly. Many extras: hot drinks; warm blankets (for chilly evening) comfortable chairs for stargazing. Totally great deal; would highly recommend them.
S.What an amazing tour. The tour we took was the Cruise Ship Wildlife Adventure of 5 hours. Lyndon, tour guide and owner of Horizon Tours was amazing. His knowledge of the area wildlife and environment was so informative. We went to areas where sea lions were resting on the beach in areas that were not visited by most tour companies. Our cruise we saw many seals and albatross. Diane his wife prepared a lunch that we ate in the forest listening to native birds and learning about the vegetation. Lyndon's knowledge of the Maori heritage was shared with us as we visited Maori sites. Yes I would take this tour again and highly recommend to anybody. Steve C Jan 2020
E.This tour was the most amazing experience, I am a Dunedin local and still gained great new insights about our culture and beautiful environment. This is a great local business to support - I would especially recommend the Twilight Tour with Lyndon. Was a very special experience.
M.we made a last minute decision to do a tour in Dunedin New Zealand, it was a great decision as our guide James was brilliant. He went above and beyond to give a special tour of the wild life in the area, but also explained the history from a cultural and geological perspective.
Very knowledgeable and friendly. I would go again to do another type of tour which focus's on the stars of the southern hemisphere
