G. W.A great four days spent meandering through the countryside, coastline and small towns around Nelson. Such varied scenery, delicious food, friendly helpful people (we did get a bit lost occasionally). Nicky of Wheelie Fantastic did a great job of setting our itinerary as we wanted, booking accommodation and a shuttle bus, and giving us comprehensive notes. We saw places we definitely would have missed without her suggestions. Highly recommended!! Some highlights (see photos): superb baking at Wakefield Bakery, happy, healthy, curious and active free range chickens at Quail Valley Farm, sunset at Kaiteriteri Beach.

I. S.I cannot praise Nicky and Wheelie enough!From the outset Nicky managed to put together the best possible itinerary after just asking a few questions by email. She met us at our gorgeous accommodation (For Puffed Pedallers) and went through the itinerary with us. She handed out maps, handwritten notes, vouchers and talked through each day ensuring we knew what would be happening day by day.
We managed to ride over 100 K of the Kaiteriteri to Nelson part of the GGT in 2 1/2 days with stomachs full, legs getting a workout and stunning sceneries rolling in front of us. And every day Nicky met us with a smile and great advice. We rode 2 generations side by side and with different abilities but still had a blast thanks to the Wheelie company. Thank you!

Sorry it's taken a while to get back to you! Jose & I haven't forgotten about our wonderful 5 day cycling tour with Wheelie Fantastic in January of this year, 2019! We enjoyed the exciting daily planned cycle tours, the different sceneries, the wineries, the art galleries and generally the whole week in Nelson! In particular we loved the warmth and professional rapport that Nicky offered us on a daily basis. We felt at ease knowing that she was there for us, guiding us through different options as the weather changed. The bikes were in tip top condition and great to cycle! Thanks Nicky! We hope to explore Nelson again soon:-)

J. S.Nicky and Lisa were so helpful and went out of their way to ensure we had a great experience in and around the Great Taste Cycle Trail. We would highly recommend Wheelie Fantastic. The bikes were great and we were given maps and an NZ mobile so we could contact them easily if need be. Their van to pick us up and transport us to our start points was very comfortable. They have a very good knowledge of the local area plus a great sense of humour:) We chose self guided, but I'm sure Nicky and Lisa would be great fun on guided tours.

What a fabulous time we enjoyed in Nelson for our 4 day biking tour! Nicky planned the perfect getaway for us... from the moment we met at the airport, everything unfolded easily and effortlessly ~ great bikes, beautiful attention to detail, amazing B&B (thank you Chrissie @ Higgs Rd!), marvellous daily itineraries that allowed for explorations along the way, yummy restaurants... I could wax lyrical about our experiences! Our conversations with Nicky were insightful, entertaining, knowledgeable, and really assisted in giving us a lovely overview of the Nelson and Mapua areas. S. H.We just had a fantastic cycling and kayaking trip put together by Nicky at Wheelie Fantastic. She took care of everything - great accommodations before, during, and after the cycling part of the trip, nice bikes, excellent recommendations for routes, sites, restaurants, etc. Although the Abel Tasman kayaking part of our trip was run by Wilson's, Wheelie made the whole thing seamless; we didn't have to worry about a thing. Nicky even made revised route suggestions based on local conditions (e.g. impacts because of the increased wildfire risk). Nicky and Lisa are extremely responsive, friendly, and easy to work with. Most importantly, their local knowledge helped ensure that we got the most out of our week in the Nelson/Mapua/Abel Tasman area. We highly recommend Wheelie!
T. B. D.My wife Wendy and I cycled for 5 days out of Nelson. It was wonderful- great scenery, nice welcoming people, good food and wine, incredible seascapes. All brilliantly organised by Nicky from Wheelie Fantastic. We are in our mid sixties and each day was strenuous enough to be great exercise by not so challenging to be daunting. Accommodation was great and the bags were there each afternoon when we arrived.
P. M.The 8 of us, 7 riders, had a great time on our Taste of Tasman tour. The company tag line, 'you decide, we provide' was met every time. In fact, the most difficult bit was doing the deciding. Excellent bikes for our various sizes and shapes; excellent maps, good recovery for poor navigation (he will never live it down) and flexibility for the non rider, made for a memorable trip. We highly recommend Wheelie Fantastic.

Nothing was too much trouble. There was always an excellent Plan B if needed. The bikes were brand new and with great maps and track notes made the riding a pleasure. J. L.Our travel company recommended Wheelie Fantastic Cycle Touring for ride in the country side near Nelson NZ. The previous day my wife injured her knee hence was not able to bike with with me our friend. Nicky and Vanesa did not miss a beat. They took extra care to ensure my wife would have a great day enjoying our days cycling highlights by riding in the support vehicle and the great company Nicky. Vanesa rode with our friend and me. She too was great. Since we are older, she did an excellent job guiding us on the paths ensuring a safe and enjoyable ride. So much for the mechanics. The ride and experiences were fantastic. We learned a great deal about the country side which included stops at historical sites and an outstanding restaurant for lunch and conversation. Their willingness to share their knowledge of New Zealand was also enjoyable. It was a great day. Many thanks to Nicky and Vanesa for the great biking adventure.
P. P.I would definitely recommend a holiday with the Wheely Fantastic girls, who, true to their name, ensured we had a wheely good trip. Nicky took all our requirements into account ie a scenic cycle, not too many hills, off road mostly and good food and drink stops. Her added suggestions of a day trip to Abel Tasman National Park, craft shop and winery visits were also very much appreciated. Even when a cyclone appeared on day 5 Nicky was able to rearrange the schedule with a minimum of fuss. A memorable holiday experience. Trish Pease.
