Fantastic tour: small boat takes you along the coast of Abel Tasman NP with stops on beaches for morning tea and lunch. Our tour guide (Justin) had great knowledge and enthusiasm and made the tour an amazing experience. He talked about nature, ecology, landscape, geology and history of the region and answered every question we had. The highlight was when about 10 seal pups followed us and played around the boat! Highly recommend this tour!

Fabulous day with Justin's amazing knowledge, wildlife, conservation efforts and history about this pristine spot, which was topped up with a super tasty lunch. Friendly service, also from Mel. Must-do tour to appreciate this fragile eco-system!

Wonderful day out with Justin exploring the Abel Tasman coastline and secret locations. Justin made it all the more interesting with his wealth of knowledge of the local history and marine and park wildlife and botany - and great stories.

We had an amazing day out with Stuart! Incredibly knowledgable, entertaining and informative! It was relaxed, easy going, unique and you get a let more from the day than the other larger operators in the area. Nice with just a small group. Great to be able to all the smaller areas that the bigger boats cant get to, this is where the magic was for us. Saw lots of wildlife! Morning tea and lunch provided was delicious! Overall, a highly recommended must do!

The best way to visit and get to know about this wonderful place. We learned a lot and had an excellent day. Tea break with banana cake was delicious and we opted for having lunch provided by them and it was also delicious, under a shadow on a deserted beach. One of the highlights of our trip to this beautiful country! The boat will take you to places that there’s no way to get. If you are going to visit the region don’t think twice and book your tour as soon as possible.

The best tour in the Abel Tasman with the best guide for it. Stew is a knowledgable guide with such a friendly spirit you wish the tour never ends. The tour is beyond amazing and gives plenty of options to participate. Stunning views, amazing sandy shores and animals galore accompanied by Stew's commentary makes this the best adventure in Abel Tasman. We got time to play in the sand, walk in the park and see amazing spots and wildlife. If you are in the area this one is a must!

absolutely the best thing to do in all New Zealand! I thought this guided tour with Eco Tours around the water, beaches and the forrest in the Abel Tasman National Park would be just the thing to do for my 73 year old mom and me. We were blown away, it was just the greatest day on the water. Stew made us laugh, served us morning tea, cake and even a yummy lunch and he told us so much about nature, wildlife and climate. An awesome half day experience not just for the tourists. Very informative and went to some very special places along the Abel Tasman coastline. This is the second time we have taken a tour with Stew and both times the tours have been AMAZING!!!! Stew has such a broad knowledge of the National Park, Marine life and native species and we learned so much. We saw seals, penguins, Eagle Rays and loads of other fish and birds. The tour was great for everyone on our trip with ages ranging from 2 - 70+. Can not recommend this trip enough to anyone visiting the park for the first time or even locals that want to learn more about the park and understand why it is so important to look after this fragile Eco system. Can't wait to try one of his other tours in the near future!!

I had an absolutely incredible day on the water with Stew and the Abel Tasman Eco Tours team. Right from the start Stew made everyone feel comfortable and welcome, it was a small and intimate experience in a visitor market that is obsessed with volume. What a gem! I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to keep pace with all the information presented but Stew presents in a very easy to digest way raising awareness to the many ecological issues surrounding the Abel Tasman but also telling positive stories to inspire everyone to take action and be optimistic about the future. The day is the perfect blend of admiring the breathtaking scenery of the Abel Tasman, learning more than you can imagine about the ecology of the park and the Tasman Bay and just enjoying some time out on the beach for a swim, a picnic lunch and a walk along the beach! I'd highly recommend the tour to anyone wanting to "open their eyes" and have a more authentic park experience.

This is an awesome trip. Our guide Stew is really, authentically passionate about this area and about ecotourism and improving his world I practical ways. The whole trip we learnt about the birds and animals and the flora of the area. Stew really knew his stuff and it was really inspiring. The trip showed us many types of birds plus seals and many fish. We saw amazing scenery and enjoyed plenty of time on shore. The optional extra lunch was perfect and came packed in paper and cardboard. No single use plastic to be found. Stew even went out of his way to fish an expired balloon out of the ocean. This is a truly eco tour, not just a greenwashing exercise. This tour is a must and the only way to see Abel Tasman National Park. Please consider booking direct as the booking companies take huge margins.

We had a great time on the Golden Future Boat Tour with Stew. I wouldn't have thought of booking a tour like this, but we had a non-swimmer and two young kids. This discounted hiking and kayaking. I am, however, so glad to have taken the tour and can thoroughly recommend it to anyone. Stew is a passionate and knowledgable biologist filled with information about the park and its flora and fauna. He is a very good speaker who kept us engaged through the whole tour and I didn't once have to cringe at a cheesy joke.

This is a must do trip for anyone visiting the Abel Tasman National Park, the indepth insightful way in which the tour is conducted is unsupassable. I would recommend this to anyone who loves nature (which is any credible visitor to the greatest living wilderness, New Zealand). Stew is excellent and has so much knowledge on the area that your mind will be blown! I would go back again if I could!

Abel Tasman Eco tours is the coolest way to see Abel Tasman. Both Stews are awesome and know so much about the biosphere and the animals that call the National Park home. This is so much more than a boat ride. It's a day of education. Eco Tours also the the Tasman Bay Guardians and the Abel Tasman Tree Collective. Both super important conservation orginisations.

I haven't actually been out with these guys however I drive for Scenic NZ and have had passengers aboard who have and raved about the operation. Stu, the guide is so knowledgeable about everything to do with the Able Tasman National Park and treats everyone his clients on an individual level. Awesome guy, awesome Tour.

I travel to NZ for holiday every year and always enjoy coming to the ATNP. For the last 4 visits, I have gone out with Stew on his ECO tour of the park. I love this tour. Stew has a wealth of knowledge about the ecology, zoology, and botany of this area. There is always something new to learn and delight in. Observe Shags, fur seals, blue penguins, rays, oyster catchers, Fiordland penguins, dolphins....Stew is very friendly and welcoming. Spectacular host! Serves complimentary cake and coffee/tea/hot chocolate during the tour. Lunch provided to you at a low additional cost. Tour of the park lasts about 6-7 hours then we return to central Marahau. Highly recommend this tour for all travelers to ATNP. UPDATE: Spent a lovely day with Fay on her Promised Land Tour. Another 5S experience. Toured caves, saw many birds and native plants of NZ, walked up the Riwaka Resurgence, shared stories about living in NZ. I will catch up with Fay next year for her Tasman Treasures tour.

I can highly recommend taking a tour with Abel Tasman Eco Yours. They will give you a deep understanding of the work in the park and the challenges there is to maintain it. You will go to places you can't go yourself (unless you have your own vessel) and see wildlife. This is the perfect ad on to a walk in the park.

Just a small boat. Skipper is very knowledgeable and knew just where to find the seals, shags and penguin. He caught sight of a big pod of dolphins and we were treated to a wonderful dolphin display. Just remember to wear layers - it can get a bit chilly on the boat.

We had the best time of all boat / narrative cruises. Stu was knowledgeable of the history, terrain, and eco systems. Many interesting & funny stories. Would definitely recommend !!

This is an awesome trip stu has a vast knowledge of the Abel Tasman and the ecological systems it supports he took us on an almost private tour of the park stopping to explore a number of beaches we visited the fur seals and a short walk in the bush he even supplies a coffee and some cake for morning tea
