D.We were fortunate to have a sunny, calm and quiet day and Rory as our skipper for a civilised 10:30am departure time and a small group of about 10 of us. At almost 4 hours duration including a lunch stop for about half an hour at Totaranui campground for a quick look, we thought $79 was good value for a lengthy comfortable cruise.
It is certainly a beautiful part of the world and Rory did his best to showcase and guide us through the best of it with some knowledgeable and helpful commentary and great stop close ups for photos.
Highly recommend this trip as a way to see a bit of the Abel Tasman National Park.

This was all enabled by the Abel Tasman sea shuttle crew and Amy’s support. They are absolutely fantastic and we can’t say enough thankyou. U.We booked the five beaches tour. We took a cruise and then walked. They dropped as at Awaroa Beach and picked us up at Medlands beach. We really enjoyed the tour. The staffs were so informative and helpful.

W.To encounter dolphins at sea has throughout the ages in cultures around the world been considered a good omen and a great symbol of good luck.
At the end of the trip a magical rainbow appeared on the horizon.
A.Outstanding service. They will take care you personally and very friendly. Explain to you all the best possible routes, trips which are suitable for you. They picked me up from nelson motel. Mike was very helpful and very knowledgeable person. He was driving the van later he was in the boat too. Sea shuttle is the best gir abel tasman exploration..
A.We took a cruise and walk which was good. It was rainy day so that was bad luck for us but I think it would be great in the summer time and I would recommend that you spend 4 hours or more because the walking tracks are long in Abel Tasman park. Have fun!

J.I went with the Option 5b. Discovery Day - Walk Medlands Beach to Anchorage package. It is definitely well worth the ticket price with the beautiful scenery on the cruise; however, be ready to have the least amount of rest and snacking along the way compared to other options.

J.59+ reasonably fit couple not hiking nuts. Excellent - pick up and return to Motueka Top 10 and while Mot' isn't as attractive as Nelson we found the day out was probably an hour shorter.
Nice n informative local drivers both ways.
We chose the Seals, Bridges & Walk option - plenty of time to rest and enjoy picnic n photo opportunities with an hour to spare at Anchorage Bay.

C.Clean boat, professional staff. On the way out they do a bit of a tour if there's not so many stops. We saw seals including pups, shags, and a huge pod of dolphins. On the way back, we had a few quick stops and they were incredibly efficient + more dolphins.
G.on both occasions in the return trip, captains tried the best not to get our feet wet, even in unfavourable conditions, and whilst another shuttle company had the bridge drawn into the water. A++

B.Fantastic experience with Abel Tasman Sea Shuttles, will certainly use again and recommend to friends. Superior customer service, and the company were flexible and accomodating with all our needs. We needed to be picked up a day earlier when we were on the Abel Tasman Great Walk due to inclement weather and they were able to ensure we were on the next ferry out with no problem whatsoever. We also used their transfer shuttle from Kaiteriteri to Nelson which was not only incredibly convenient, but a super easy process and a great ride. The driver even dropped us at the front door of our accomodation - very appreciated after a wet and rough morning on the coast!

Great day out - everyone was lovely to deal with from the shuttle bus driver to the skipper & the walk at the end was perfect. M.These guys are top quality service at the same time as keeping a super cool and chill attitude. We were a group of ten going into the park and they looked after us all along the way despite the fact we all left at different times. They offer a service where they drop your packs ahead of your arrival, this is the best treat ever when you are tramping for 5 days and really makes a world of difference! The driver picks you up from a central Nelson location and delivers you back after your trip. Shorty our driver was friendly and had great knowledge of Nelson. The ramp from the beach onto the boat was very handy as one of our party was post surgery and unsteady on their feet especially on uneven terrain.
The trip up and around the Abel Tasman NP with associated commentary was beautiful and informative and funny at times, thanks to the skipper and crew.
The top deck offered amazing views and great photo opportunities whilst the lower deck was better for the wetter and more volatile sea conditions.
One thing we had not factored in was returning to Kaiteriteri at low tide which resulted in the boat landing further down the beach. This meant there was a long walk from the boat to the street, across sand and a water crossing and for our injured party this proved difficult and unnerving. Anybody with reduced fitness/injury or not steady on their feet should bear this in mind and ask what provisions are in place or when the best time to travel is to avoid these hurdles.
All in all though a fabulous excursion and highly recommended.

They have a great system to drop people off to walk or kayak, then pick them up later at a different stop. Multiple boats are out there, design your own tour. (I'd personally have preferred to kayak, or walk a section on the Tasman Track, but... companion...)

I.It's a good expirience the service it's OK for what you pay. The speakers aren't good so it very hard to understand what's going on while the ship is moving. Even more difficult due to the kiwi accent but obviously that's what you get in NZ. The seats arent confortable. The inside of the ship gets too hot. Get early if your trip is one of the longer ones, that way you can get a better seat outside.

p.I booked with these guys for hiking the abel tasman great walk - got a pickup in Nelson by bus, driven to kaiteriteri to catch water taxi and dropped off at Totaranui beach. Commentary was droll and entertaining! Great kiwi dry wit! $66 for bus and water taxi service. Taxi stopped off at many beaches and Adele island on the way dropping off day trippers.

J.(Translated) February 2019. We took the Abel Tasman Lake Shuttels to Medlands Beach, walked to Anchorage Bay and from there back to Kaiteriteri by boat. Everything went perfectly. The boat crew friendly, helpful. The walk on the beautiful and very popular Abel Tasman Track is easy and easy to cope in 3 to 3 1/2 hours. The path leads mostly through bushes with some views of the sea and coves. Highly recommended !

Februar 2019. Wir sind mit dem Abel Tasman See Shuttels zum Medlands Beach gefahren, zur Anchorage Bay gelaufen und von da aus wieder per Boot zurück nach Kaiteriteri. Alles perfekt gelaufen. Die Boot Crew freundlich,hilfsbereit. Die Wanderung auf dem schönen und sehr beliebten Abel Tasman Track ist einfach und locker in 3 bis 3 1/2 Std zu bewältigen. Der Weg führt meist durch Buschwerk mit einigen Ausblicken auf Meer und Buchten. Sehr empfehlenswert !
