These guys are awesome, thanks to our captain Jason. We were a group of 12, we wanted to change our pick up time at last minute and they made to happen for us. Great ride home past Tonga Island and into the all the bays. Thanks guys, great way to finish an awesome tramp.

Loved our little boat trip! Super friendly people, we made our booking just the day before, but that was no problem. Was quite the experience itself and loved seeing the coastlines from the aqua taxi. Thanks to our awesome skipper!

Our first time to ride the water taxi and boy was it intense! Our skipper was clearly experienced and knows what he was doing. We were transported from Totaranui back to Marahau car park via water taxi + van. Excellent service. Highly recommend.

We had the perfect day on Nelson Anniversary Weekend. Starting with the Awesome boat trip from Marahau to Anchorage, care of the awesome staff at Marahau Water Taxi's. Theses guys know there stuff. A well oiled machine that runs to perfection.

Amazing!!! Our skipper on Legend (sorry didn’t catch his name but he had dreadlocks😁) was a “great NZ bloke”. At the end of our trek through the beautiful Abel Tasman walk he gave us a scenic tiki tour back to Marahau. Loved seeing the dolphins and seals and the pristine beaches. A perfect way to finish the tramp. Also thank you for running us back to the DOC site. That was greatly appreciated and unexpected.

The water taxi back at the end of our walk was just lovely. Paul was friendly and took time to show us around the coast on the way back to Marahau. They were more than helpful with admin and making our trip smooth and easy.

So worth the money, such a beautiful ride along the coast and we stopped to see fur seals and split rock on the way. The skippers were great and really friendly, they let me catch an earlier boat back when I finished my hike sooner than expected!

Thanks Paul for a wonderful ride on the Marahau water taxi to Bark Bay. We had limited time and being taken there allowed us to make the most of our time in the Abel Tasman National Park. You made us feel welcome and your instructions were clear. A safe enjoyable ride.

Amazing service getting around Abel Tasman. Highly recommend booking with these guys. They know the area like the back of their hand and more than willing to point out places of interest, seals and their experience of the area.

What an awsome team, made our day trip so easy and fun, informative guide who new about the region well, myself and 3 kids got the water taxi from marahau to Torrent Bay, then walked to Bark Bay where we got picked up again and back to marahau. Can highly recommend this team, they will truly make your Able Tasman experience the best.

We took the water taxi from Matahau to Bark Bay, to hike our way back (recommended as a day hike in Abel Tasman). Skipper Matt gave us a warm and friendly welcome and made sure we saw the Split Apple Rock and the fur seals on our way. At these viewing points, he would turn the taxi around to give everyone a good view. The water taxi turned into a little water cruise - highly recommended! Please be aware that when leaving the taxi, you have to wade through the water. Bringing a small towel to dry your feet helps for the rest of the day.

Highly recommend I went on the scenic 3 hrs round trip at 12pm, $81, we saw seals, stingray and a penguin fishing, plus the split apple rock. Went to beautiful bays, stopped in Totaranui for 30 mins for a rest stop and to check out the visitors center there, of course sit on.the beautiful golden sand beach. The skipper was awesome with amazing knowledge of the area and made it a fun jet boat trip. You also have the tractor towing the boat, highlight is the last bit on your return

Nice and easy! Easy booking at our campground (the barn) we got picked up in the morning by a taxi to get there. Nice staff. I really enjoyed the "extra tour" to split apple and to the seals. It was more than just a Walter-Taxi-Drive it was an edventure and kind of sight seeing too ;)

We had the most awesome time walking from Marahau to Anchorage. Spencer called to let us know that as we were the only people booked that day, he could pick us up anytime. It was like our own personal water taxi. He even threw in a quick stop to look at the seals on the way. Fantastic service.

Awesome company! I would seriously recommended them. They picked me and my family up after a 4 day walk in the national park. They even took my bag and dropped it at the next camp when my family were struggling with the weight of our gear on day 2.

Booked online very late the night before for the first morning departure and the confirmation email gave crystal clear instructions on where to wait, very reassuring when it was such a last minute decision. Skipper gave useful tips on walking/low-tide crossing times. Also having grown up around boats wanted to give skipper a shout out for very skilful handling of the boat.

Impressive service. A huge THANK YOU for waiting for us even though we had to change pick up location, and being understanding. We enjoyed the extra touch of taking time to see the seal pups and blue penguin, and especially kindly giving us a lift back to the car because we were absolutely knackered. Very grateful! Also, I think the Zero Carbon initiative and collaboration with DOC and conservation groups is admirable and important. Great to see that leadership. Thanks so much.

We got a transfer from Marahau to Awaroa Lodge. Very friendly skipper who made the experience more than just a taxi service with photo opportunities at split apple rock and Adele Island. Booking online was easy too.

We used Marahau Water Taxis to access Totaranui where we walked around Separation Point and back along the Inland track to Marahau. (4 days) Paul was a great skipper and made the boat trip interesting and thoroughly enjoyable. He even took us into his 'secret' harbour along the way. We recommend this company. Thanks!

The team at the Abel Tasman Centre were super helpful and accommodating. We just booked a return trip out to Anchorage but the ride was great with a books trip to Tokangawhā (Split Apple Rock) and to see the seal pups. Great experience.

Expecting a simple ride from Totaranui to Marahau we were thrilled to have a fast fun ride, calling into bays, having eagle rays and flounder pointed out to us. We called to change our booking at the last minute and staff were happy to accommodate us. Skipper (Mila?) was awesome. Loved the tractor ride onto land. Brilliant end to five days walking the park.

We enjoyed our trip on the water taxi to Totaranui, we also stopped by Adele Island to see the fur seals. We used their services again by calling from one of the camp sites as the weather was set to turn nasty that night. They also transfer bags which is an excellent option as we found our packs too heavy with tents and 5 days of food. Would definitely recommend them.

We had a fantastic boat ride from Awaroa Bay to Marahau after hiking the Abel Tasman Coastal Walk. The skipper was friendly and informative, and very professional about his job. The customer service team were also very helpful for me, as they were happy to change my booking after I placed it for Totaranui, not Awaroa. Great service, and a fantastic company! Well priced, and offered us a secure place to park our car. Thanks guys, will be using your service again :)

This was way more than a water taxi. The ride to Anchorage was 45 minutes, includes a couple of quick stops at nice vantage points. The best part was riding the water as if in an adventure water game. Our skipper asked through the choppy waves and gave us an exhilarating ride that was also still very safe. Highly recommend

Great service. Skipper Shawn took us halfway then we transferred to another boat for the rest of the trip . All the captains were professional. Pointed out different sites along the route. Women in the check in office very nice. If you need a water taxi for Abel Tasman; this is the one to use.

My experience with everyone I encountered was outstanding. We are disorganised travellers and the gentleman at the counter in Marahau discussed the track with us briefly, told us he the tide times and helped us book the water taxi. We got to our destination early at the end of the walk and the water taxis were flexible in letting us take a different boat. The driver of the water taxi took us into a little offshoot inlet to see baby seal on our way back to our destination - which was cool. Would highly recommend these guys and would definitely use them again.

We were picked up from Awaroa and taken back to Marahau. Gorgeous day, great service and we were shown points of interest along the way. Thank you skipper Paul for going out of your way to organise some hot water for me. We'll be back. The 4 Kayak Retrieving Girls!

Arrived on time at Anchorage Bay, friendly staff, great ride back to the Marahau base. Skipper kept us well informed the whole way. Plus a ride on the back of a tractor trailer which I wasn't expecting.

Caught the water taxi after walking the Abel Tasman, they have very fast boats! We stopped to see the blue penguins on the way back. I would recommend!

Took the water taxi from Totaranui to Marahau after completing the Great Walk. Not too expensive and gave great views of the beaches. We saw a group of dolphins on the way back as well which was a pleasant surprise!

Nice and efficient boat ride. Even if you're on time and have checked in at the counter, make sure you wait at the boat as they might not count people and leave without you (happened to us).

Really friendly and helpful staff. Water taxi from Totaranui back to Marahau a bit expensive but very good way to see hidden features in the coastline and sunbathing seals.

Took the boat au to Awaroa Hut, friendly staff and a funny guide. In my opinion, a bit to expensive. almost 50$ per person.
