I was directed here by a local & didn’t regret leaving at 8.30am to get one of the three Motorhome parking spaces. I was able to get an all day permit to stay, so I could get everything done in the city Center that I needed. Nice roses gardens & of course the clock tower to look out over while eating lunch too. It was raining but didn’t deter from the beauty of the area at all. Plenty of cafes within walking distance of I needed a caffeine fix, a bike rack of I needed it, & very friendly helpful staff

Stopped here after failing to get good tramping info on the Tararua Range, specifically impending severe weather, by phone at other I-Sites (fair enough). The facilities are fantastic here, from toilets (incl. resting area in female toilets says my partner and after-hour toilets) to shower facilities (didn't personally use). The main reason I give 5 Stars is the people.. The gal was very friendly and the gentleman (Garth I believe) was extremely helpful and friendly. He advised on approaching the ranges based on experience and also showed us weather info from web sources I'd never seen. Knew about Te Araroa, various accommodation options, recent track changes and critical weather-related considerations (e.g. catchment area). Excellent place and service, very much appreciated and deserving of recognition!

Beautifull place, at square pallace of palmerston north centre....you also able to see the memorial places with people struggle during the eorld war I, II, korean war, malvinas war, and peace keeper at east timor...a place with historical nuansa with clock bell ringing every hour....yes...beautifull and also a church in the another edge....

The public showers here are some of the best in the country. They are very clean and the staff are super friendly. It costs $2 for a hot shower up to 20 minutes. You can also hire towels. The shower room is very spacious with two chairs, two coat hooks, a sanitary bin, a mirror and a soap dispenser. I wish all information centres had this service. Highly recommend.

The bus driver hohepa on intercity was wonderful nd patient stopped off Palmerston for toilet stop being 23 Dec 2019 every thing was shut we had stop off in mau mau didn't order food took our own you want to have a great bus driver on your destination from Wellington to Napier go on the intercity nd have a great journey with bus driver hohepa ask Amy booking office which bus he be driving cold be double Decker

I always find it to have tidy restrooms and helpful staff , the waiting area outside for bus services is covered and has good seating, there is also an area with more seating and an open grassed area which is a nice rest area or place to have a little lunch .

They also have public toilets. Open 7 days a week and give a great place to visit to know more about Palmerston North.

Well I'll be totally honest with palmerston north, the most beautiful thing about palmerston north are firstly the woman !!!
