Posting on behalf of Russ & Judi McKenzie Sorry to take so long to report back to you about our journey and stay at the Mt Cook Hermitage but we've taken a fair time to recover !!!!!!!! You had done a superb job of setting up our holiday/birthday celebrations, which we very much appreciated. The accommodation was spectacularly good, allowing us to wake up to mountains clear & bright each morning. Our family thought it was mega wonderful ! We were bowled over when we went to breakfast the first morning, to see the table for 10 beautifully arranged with everything we needed & then we were offered hearty cooked breakfasts, pleasing even those who don't usually partake. What happy campers we were. We had a lovely and very efficient young woman - Maddison, waiting on us. She deserves a mention. Have to tell you, 3 of our family left to travel south on Oct 11 and drove into SNOW and were diverted, adding great excitement. Such a contrast with the beautiful weather just enjoyed. Can you tell we had a wonderful time, Maree ??? Can't thank you enough for your expert input and contact with the Hermitage. All the best from me, Russ and our grateful family ........ take care..... I would like to thank Shiree from HOT Papamoa for arranging an urgent flight and Covid swab to enable me to fly to UK within 24hrs of booking. Shiree's kept me informed of the ever changing situation with covid both in UK and NZ. When I finally managed to secure a place in MIQ Shiree was able to change my return flight. Traveling internationally during a global pandemic is incredibly stressful but Shiree reassured me it was possible and that enabled me to spend 18 precious hours with my mum before she passed away. Shiree for that I will be forever grateful.

We have utilised HoT twice in recent years and the most recently was our endeavours to return home from Australia in 2021. In 2019 Charlotte was brilliant in getting our trip organised for us. Last year we contact Tanya whe we became trapped in Australia with the Bubble pause. We couldn't have asked for better support and guidance getting through the process. Tanya even worked on a Sunday afternoon to ensure we got airflights home booked. Brilliant customer service

Very good service when we wanted to change our tickets to Australia. So friendly. Certainly keep going back when organizing travel.

Shiree at papamoa house of travel is AMAZING 🤩, She organized our holiday on incredibly short notice and at Christmas time!, everything went exactly according to plan! We were extremely pleased with our adventure down south and couldnt have lined it all up without Shiree's help, would absolutely recommend to anybody A+++ Thanks again!

Posting on behalf of Gillian Buckley, Papamoa Several months ago I called in to House of Travel to check out upcoming cruises for 2022. I spoke with Tanya and I was most impressed with the wonderful service I received. Tanya listened to me and made sure we were both on the same page. She ensured that I had the most suitable cabin for me; right in the centre of the ship! I appreciated the time Tanya gave me and found her to be warm and caring and at the same time professional and competent. I was excited about the booking feeling sure that by next year we would be seeing a whole new world with boarders opened up. However, as the time has got closer, my confidence started to wan somewhat, and last week I became anxious about our January booking. I called in and spoke with Tanya about my concerns. After talking with her I felt totally reassured, knowing that however things panned out, Tanya was looking after us. Tanya has a beautiful, calm manner and that seemed to off onto me! I came away feeling a whole lot better and just felt so pleased that we have Tanya, at House of Travel, looking after our cruise booking.

My fiancé and I have just moved back to NZ from the UK. Maree was immensely helpful in navigating the complexities of covid-travel and MIQ providing advice, organising flights and being available to answer any questions at all times. We would highly recommend Maree and the team for any future travel, they removed all the stress from our trip. Thank you once again!

Tanya was absolutely amazing!! She was full of amazing advice and helped make our trip seamless. Tanya stayed in contact throughout the whole process and even while we were away and when I returned. We are so thankful for everything that Tanya did for us.

As always, great service from House of Travel at Papamoa. Maree is always very enthusiastic, and always has great suggestions of things to do on our travels. We recently booked and travelled to the South Island, doing from Nelson to Christchurch by car, then the Tranzalpine Train journey over 2 days. Wonderful experience, and great accomodation along the way, stayed in Nelson, Hanmer Springs and Christchurch. A great trip, no hassles at all.

We went to Papamoa House of Travel and our consultant Shiree, was wonderful. We didn't want a tour-guide trip, but didn't want the hassle of arranging flights, booking accommodation, and booking sight-seeing for our 10-day trip in the South Island, so they arranged all of that for us, which just left the pleasure of travelling with friends - we all agreed this is the best way to travel - stress-free and sit back and enjoy! Highly recommend using them.

Posting on Behalf of Gayleen & Gary Balment & Michael Catley While we were on holiday in Rarotonga August 2021, Nz had a sudden outbreak of Covid. Causing all of NZ to go into lockdown level 4. Tanya kept us updated with emails of what was happening in Nz. While this really didn't effect Rarotonga itself, it made a huge impact to a lot of hoilday makers on the Island. Our party, of three, decided if possible, we'd love to stay on. I emailed Tanya at HOT Papamoa saying that we'd love to stay on. Tanya replied immediately, with realistic options for us. One phone call later and everything was finalized!!! We were staying longer !!!! We were so impressed with how Tanya made our extension so painless for us . No doubt it wasn't the same for her..Cancelling flights, rebooking flights and extending our accommodation. THEN. Air Nz themselves cancelled our flights...on the phone again to Tanya. Without missing a beat Tanya offered us new options to change. Once again, seemly without a hitch at our end. But we're sure Tanya worked her butt off again to accommodate us. Mike, Gary and myself can't sing Tanya's praises higher enough. We would highly recommend this HOT as a go to store. Nothing was too much trouble. (We ourselves have used this store for over 25 years) Tanya turned our 10 trip into a 19 day totally stress free holiday inspite of covid. Thanks so very MUCH Tanya again for everything you did for us. It was totally over and above our expectations. These are the times when you realize why it's worth using a Travel Agent. All I can say is......Thank you Thank you Thank you! I cannot express how grateful I am to have had Maree at Papamoa House of Travel look after all of my travel arrangements during the uncertainty of the unstable and changeable world environment we are all currently living in. Maree quickly identified my sense of urgency to travel home to QLD, listened with empathy and went above and beyond to fulfill my request. Maree removed my fear, she was in total control, keeping me informed every step of the way. I am now on my way home! Thank you Maree, your kindness and genuine ability to connect to customers is what the world needs more of. You are amazing!

A big shoutout to Tanya for her fantastic service and devotion, totally going the second mile, in organising to bring our daughter and family home from Senegal in West Africa! Great attention to every detail in liaising with Emirates, MIQ, stopover arrangements, the ever changing Covid restrictions worldwide etc. I would highly recommend House of Travel for their friendly, personal service and their willingness to meet all your needs with such care and enthusiasm. Great value followed with impeccable service. I took a trip of 44 people to The Chateau including the Sky Waka and lunch at The Pinnacles. This was followed by the Northern Explorer to Hamilton. Food, and service at all venues was brilliant and the itinerary worked perfectly. Highly recommend House of Travel, Papamoa.

She has gone above and beyond supporting and guiding me as I try to navigate my way home from Melbourne during a covid outbreak. Have dealt with HOT for some years and have developed some wonderful relationships with many of the staff. Special mention should be made that our agent at the time saved us from being trapped in Aussie at the beginning of the pandemic by being so proactive. Their fantastic effort in recovering most of our prepaid fair etc lost during the first year. Weel done.

We have used HOT Papamoa for a number of overseas trips since 2015. Maree has been great to work with right from planning to sorting out the details. Nothings an issue, she'll steer you in the right direction with advice and you have a laugh doing it. Hopefully there will come a time when we can travel a bit further so we'll be back to Maree again.

My flight was canceled out of Tauranga by Air NZ and I had a connecting flight to catch in Auckland to Qld they didn't give a stuff I was to miss my international flight and AirNZ would not put me on there next flight .So House of Travel swung into action forced AirNZ to change cancelation excuse from mechanical failure to bad weather which was true.Then rebooked 2 new flights to Qld and even sent a stuff member to pick me up from home return me toTauranga airport she also brought me a coffee while I waited for my new flights . I will always book with them as I feel confident that I'll be looked after Many thanks to Papamoa House of travel for there out standing service

Visited Maree from House of Travel Papamoa who was stunningly brilliant with all our travel plans and bookings. Maree went beyond all our expectations and we will be recommending her to all our friends and family.

I walked in as I used to live just around the corner and I needed to book my trip back home. I found the most professional staff ever, it was quite hard to organise my travel from Auckland to Italy due to all the new covid related rules, lots of papers to do which I couldn’t manage on my own, but they did their best and everything went smooth! The all team is well prepared, super welcoming and do the extra miles. I feel so lucky to had my trip organised by them, not only for the great job itself, but also for the moral support they offer me during that stressful time, again a big thank you, in particular to Shiree, Hayley and Steph, it’s beautiful to find people who loves their job so much!
