We used them quite a number of times over 4 days. Friendly, welcoming team who will do whatever they practically can to accommodate your water taxi needs. Highly recommend for your Queen Charlotte track needs.

Fantastic service, friendly & professional - on time & organised. The pack drop off/pick up service was brilliant.

Excellent service! No problem getting 5 bikes and all our touring gear on a boat from Mistletoe Bay to Picton, and great value for money too.

Wonderful service. Best day out since Covid 19 struck. Totally different to a usual day. Polite service where you get clapped aboard if you get aboard at low tide down a ladder. Pods of dolphins 🐬 . Single seal and at least 5 fish schools . Boat handling very impressive as we put down and picked up people at Blumine Island. Arrived and left on time and treated marine mammals and people with respect. Office people excellent at an early hour and offered very quickly to get me a new ticket . Found original because they calmed me . Trip was excellent and everyone on the first and return trip was happy.

We went on the cruise and lunch cruise out to furneaux lodge we had the most amazing day. The weather on Sunday was perfect. Cruise was amazing. Will do it again next time we are down south

We went with Cougar Line water taxis when we went to ride the Queen Charlotte track from Ships Cove to Anakiwa We sent a booking request online and they rang us back to confirm details. They don't just drop you off at the beginning and pick you up at the end. They also drop your bag off and pick them up each day from where you are staying so you only need to carry what you need for the day on the trail. They are very helpful and and friendly. And even made us a coffee and brought it to us before we sailed as the smaller boat doesn't have coffee/tea facilities on it. The only downside was on the last day they pick you up from Anakiwa at 3:30pm and we arrived there at 11:30 am so ended up biking back to Picton All in all a great experience would definitely recommend them.

These guys took us on an amazing trip to and from Endeavour inlet, and were super helpful and organised. Will be booking with them always!

Efficient, comfortable and clean boat so made the trip to Lochmara enjoyable inspite of the weather.

We booked to do the cruise and lunch at Furneaux Lodge on Wednesday this week. The staff in the office and on the boat were friendly and professional with the commentary by the captain informative and not intrusive so people listened to it. When Orca were spotted, every endeavour was made to stop and give us camera opportunities. The staff at Furneaux were so friendly and the lunch was excellent with good choices. We couldn't fault anything about this cruise and will recommend it to all. Well done to all involved.

Had an amazing trip to Marlborough with Cougar Line & Marlborough Tours, from the staff at Furneaux & Punga Cove to the boat staff everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. Massive thanks to John our skipper back into Picton who even arranged for one of his colleagues to drive us into Blenheim to catch our flight home, and to Moē for driving us! Above and beyond 😀

A fast efficient ride to Ship Cove and the beginning of the Queen Charlotte trek

Very accommodating and flexible. I loved how easy they were to accommodate our hiking schedule as we did not know when we would arrive the pick up point on the track. All they needed was to give them a call and they would come to pick us up in less than an hour if we did not arrive within the fixed schedule. That gave me stress free I could enjoy the walk and the beautiful scenery.

Its been the best water transport for completing Queen Charlotte Track especially for a single solo walker. Thank you all for helping preserve mental health and well-being after a difficult year of 2020.

Good price very friendly staff

Highly professional. Very nice team and crew. We used them to get to the starting point of the Queen Charlotte Track at ship cove, and to transfer our luggage to and from our accommodation after the first day of hiking. It works well and is actually quite efficient.

Cant fault our day on the Queen Charlotte track thanks to Cougar line! We found the staff to be very friendly and reliable. Nothing felt like it was a problem and as a result the day was very relaxed. Even had the added bonus of spotting seals and dolphins! Can highly recommend.

Cougarline always go above and beyond for you! I love, love, love their service! Without Cougarline it would be very hard to get by living out in the sounds. I'm always greeted with a smile at reception and all of the boat drivers are fantastic! 😁

Excellent trip out to ship cove & back from Resolution bay, with bonus of seeing dolphins close to boat on both trip & skippers slowing so we could see them.

Great service to get transport to the Queen Charlotte Track. The boats often bit later as indicated. Best to call on the day for an updated time.

Great service and friendly people, however, according to a Landowner we met on the QCT, Cougar Line does not contribute to any maintenance of the QCT, whereas Beachcomber does – hence go for Beachcomber if you want to make sure that some of your money goes back in to the track again. :) Nevertheless, Cougar Line has done a great job.

Very professional crew, great modern boats, and fantastic service. They can organize drop offs and pickups for day walks or tramps on the Queen Charlotte Sound track.

I organised a trip on the Marlborough Sounds for 30 people. The service, the boat and the staff were all top notch. We will certainly use Cougar Lines again.

Such an interesting three hours accompanying the deliveries of goods and passengers to remote docks. Saw an amazing pod of dolphins too.

These folks run a tight ship. Well-organized, communicative, and service-oriented. Staff are friendly and knowledgable. Highly recommended.

We cycled the Queen Charlotte Track at the start of October. We had perfect weather, with one night amazing Noelines in Punga Cove. Cougar Line provide perfect service for the drop off at Ship Cove and pick up at Anakiwa.

The best taxi and freight service in the sounds, great, helpful staff. Wouldn't go past these guys, they the best!!
