Had a fantastic fight with them on 22/03/22 to Milford sound and wholeheartedly recommend Air Milford. Friendly service and views you may only see once in a lifetime. We thought about either driving or coaching it from Queenstown but honestly,the extra outlay is 100 per cent worth it. An unforgettable experience that everyone should do. An amazing experience! We were picked up in a vehicle and taken to the airport where we were checked in and briefed before our flight. All of the staff we came in contact with were friendly, welcoming and approachable. The pilot was very professional and knowledgable. The view was breathtaking and it was amazing to see the landmarks from up above and get a unique view. The experience was worth every cent. A+++

Awesome service and would definitely recommend. We were tossing up between doing a coach-cruise-fly for Milford Sound or a quick visit. We called up a day or so before we wanted to go and found another option from the wonderful lady on the phone (Jo) who suggested the "Milford and big 5 glaciers flight". This was probably the best decision of our holiday in Queenstown as the whole experience from booking to briefing to the actual flight was second to none. The people were great, the commentary was informative, the views spectacular, and the flight smooth - well worth the money as far as we are concerned. I would have no hesitation in recommending these guys to anyone. A++

A brilliant experience, fantastic crew, and great views! I organised a surprise scenic Queenstown flight for my partner's birthday and, to my absolute delight, Air Milford upgraded us to the Milford Sound flight (big shoutout to Sara!). I had been to Milford several times before, but to see it from the air was such an amazing experience that I will remember forever! Would highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing experience! We did the fly-crusie-fly into milford. Air Milford collected us from our hotel and took us out to the plane, the staff were very lovely! The plane was a little 10 seater but very comfy, the views from the plane were absolutely stunning! The pilot was very good at pointing out what we where flying over, the cruise was a once in a lifetime experience and air milford had even reserved us window tables on the boat. They keep the windows in the plane nice and clean so perfect for photography as well. Thanks for the great trip air milford crew! I really hope they don't close the airport down in milford, that would be a massive loss!

Queenstown Must Do! If there's one thing in Queenstown you have to do, it is definitely the Queenstown Scenic Flight with Air Milford! The service from the moment of booking was incredible, thank you very much to Sarah and Jo for helping organise this for my partners birthday. Our Pilot, Thomas, had a tremendous amount of knowledge regarding Queenstown, the history and the aircrafts , it was a pleasure to fly with him. The flight itself was just beautiful, I would highly recommend seeing Queenstown from above! Also had the opportunity to speak with Antony the Chief Pilot after landing, where I learned more about this amazing company! Thank you for Air Milford for making my partners birthday so special! What an amazing team!

Legit sensational flight to and from Milford. Was definitely 50/50 as to how epic this might be, and stoked to say the Air Milford team were delivered. Had Tom up front flying and giving us the low-down on where we were and what we were looking at which was super fun. Will need to go back to the map to find out how to get to some spots. We had a bluebird day, but can imagine regardless you'll have a grand time! P.s. the tropical looking island in the photos is Bob's Cove.

We decided to treat ourselves to a trip to Milford Sound while staying in Queenstown. We chose to fly down with Air Milford and we weren’t disappointed. The staff were great and friendly - picking us up from our hotel. The flight was awesome, definitely better than sitting on a bus especially when time is limited. I even got to play co pilot for the first part of the trip. We couldn’t fault Air Milford and would definitely recommend them. A great experience.

My husband, two teenage daughters and I had a fantastic day trip to Milford Sound from Queenstown using Southern Discoveries and Air Milford. Both companies were very professional and friendly. The flight back was stunning! We were blessed with fantastic weather and Ant our pilot made us feel very safe and had a lot of knowledge about the area. He was also kind enough to take a photo of us with the plane to capture the moment. The communication and service prior to our trip was excellent, right from our initial call with Hank through to finalising the booking with Jo. They even took the trouble to contact us a couple of days beforehand to suggest we change days as the weather looked better the day after our original booking. This was a great decision! We would highly recommend the team at Air Milford.

Wonderful experience from beginning to end. Sarah in the front office was super friendly and great for organizing pickups around town and providing details about the trip beforehand. Our pilot, Alex, was excellent and flew us over some of the coolest landscapes imaginable. Milford Sound itself was like something out of a dream; we can hardly believe we got to cruise around there for the afternoon. If this isn't on your bucket list, it should be. Can't recommend this trip highly enough!! We are so thankful we had this opportunity. FWIW we did this with our 5 month old and despite one meltdown on the cruise we would still recommend this trip for those with young children. The 10 min nature walk from the runway to the docks was not to be missed and short enough that we just carried him - no need for a stroller/pram. Air Milford was very accommodating, giving us the back seats on the plane, which had more legroom/space for baby stuff. Thank you again for a truly wonderful experience!

Did the Milford sound Coach, cruise and fly option. Sara was an absolute Gem and switched me to a booking a day earlier as the weather was questionable for my flight back on my original booking. An absolute MUST DO while in Queenstown. We opted for the Fly, Cruise, Fly flight into Milford sound. What an amazing experience from start to finish. Communication was excellent from booking, through to status updates in the days, and morning leading up to the flight. Checked in By Sara, and safety briefing by the pilot, Antony really had us at ease. This team really know their stuff!. Stunning scenery and in flight commentary conducted in a very safe and friendly manner. We will definitely be booking again.

The flight there and back was amazing, particularly coming really close to the mountain tops. Air Milford works with Southern discoveries for the cruise in Milford which was incredible and I recommend. Awesome customer service - helped with booking, weather checking, getting best flight time. Picked up from Queenstown Airport and shuttled at Milford to private yacht. Could not be better- oh yes and the flight was spectacular!

All members of the Air Milford team were so helpful, friendly and responsive to questions. We changed the day we were flying to ensure we got the best weather which worked out brilliantly. Tom was our pilot - such a professional guy who pointed out all the sights. I don't really enjoy flying but had the most fabulous time. The scenic flights to and from Milford Sound were incredible. Well worth the investment. If you're going to do one activity, make this it - you'll get so see so much of the wonder of NZ. Cruise in the Milford Sound was also good. We felt sorry for the operators due to the lack of people but it was fabulous for us.

Was a great flight, beautiful scenery of our wonderful Fiordland mountains and coast. The plane was comfortable and did bounce around a little amongst the mountains but not to be unexpected considering the terrain. The coffee and pie at Manapouri was great. My friend recommended this company and I had fantastic service from the moment I booked a coach/cruise/fly over the internet. After some korero with Jo I changed my Milford experience to a fly/cruise/fly and I'm ever so glad they were able to accommodate the change. The plane type is a Caravan and our plane was full with 12 passengers. Alex, our pilot, pointed out places of interest along the way. I thought the scenery getting to Milford Sound was gobsmackingly awesome. The scenery within Milford Sound was on another level again! Tables are reserved on the 2hour Southern Discoveries 'Spirit of Milford' cruise should you wish to sit inside. Free self serve hot drinks and there's no need to take your lunch as you can purchase a limited range of food onboard. Adam our captain gave an informative commentary along the way to the sea & back pointing out earthquake faults, geology, minerals in the rock, where glaciers & sealers had been. There's even an experience of getting showered by a waterfall. Alex escorted us on the short 10minute boardwalk walk back to the plane. The service I experienced and indeed the whole trip was truly magical and the highlight of my holiday.
