Fantastic service! My Milford Sound flight tour (that I had booked on my own) had been cancelled due to poor weather conditions and I was at a loss for back up plans. Mathias basically set up my whole day and even got me a refund for my original booking. Ended up having a great day in Queenstown with more money to spare. Very thankful and highly recommend these guys. They go above and beyond to make sure your trip is a good one.

Tommy inside was super friendly and welcoming, got me a much better deal on a car rental than I found online and sorted out loads of options for what I wanted to do while I was out rafting. Also had loads of local knowledge which was great. They are also one of the only companies that offer a full refund should your activities be cancelled!

He was honest about prices, what you get on each tour and different tour companies. I really appreciated his honesty and candor. The cancelled hang gliding was re- scheduled; the time of the cycling was changed to accommodate the hang gliding and a tandem was found!! We had a good travel in New Zealand thanks to Christian. He was very friendly and helpful and even checked the weather for us which enabled us to do most of our activities without the worries of occasional weather postponement especially the Skydiving. My friend did the Skydiving in Wanaka. As a first timer in New Zealand we spent 21 days there from Queenstown driving all the way to Auckland and it was a fantastic journey. We managed to even do Whale and Dolphin watch at Kaikoura, Mount Cook's glacier on helicopter with the boat tour, also we did Labyrinth in Waitomo which was advised by Christian, a completely different experience altogether. Sophia & Christian were super helpful & sincere in taking care of our holiday plans. We are a group of 6 and we booked the Thunder Jet, NZone Skydive, Canyon Swing & Fox and a Mount Cook Heli Hike with them. Unfortunately, our plan for the mount cook heli hike was held back due to the bad weather. Christian made an effort to contact us personally and suggested another heli adventure with Helicopter Services and we decided to heed his advice because we were really looking forward to it. Christian made all the necessary arrangements for us and he simply made our day! We didnt expect the experience to be truly amazing! After a long journey from New York to Queenstown jet lagged and exhausted , I couldn’t have been more lucky to have chosen Happy travels to plan my exprerience in New Zealand . Best travel store in the whole of Queenstown. Extremely accommodating staff, who are knowledgable about the tours and everything else you may want to know. Honesty is the best policy, which really is moto that runs deep with these guys... they will be honest and direct you towards the best options for your needs and what you are looking for in a trip/tour. If you don't use these guys, and go to one of the mediocre stores in town, you may as well throw your money into lake Wakatipu and then cry into your pillow. Love from Wales and Canada.

Just booked my Australian tours and accomodation through HappyTravels. Laura was an amazing help and was happy to share her own experience in Australia. The atmosphere in the shop was really good. I spend like 3-4 hours in the shop, because it was great fun sharing experiences and stories with Laura and Christian. The staff really make you feel comfortable and welcome. That is also why I ended up spending another 2-3 hours the next day in the shop, where they kindly let me use one of their computers to fix some stuff back home. Christian and Kieran went above and beyond to sort a trip to Fiji for us. They have to deal with a very difficult Fijian company to book island hopping, but despite a few hiccups, eventually secured us the trip we had hoped for, and for a great price too.
