Cannot recommend this company enough. Various package options given. We picked to have the helicopter to ourselves as we were 4 already. Everything was explained in detail. On the day we received a call (which I missed) followed by a text to let us know weather was good for the flight & what time we should show for check in. Once there welcomed by Pedro who checked us in, explained how the trip would go. Then our pilot showed explained where we would go on the map did a quick safety briefing and we were off. The helicopter was spacious & beautifully maintained. Once we were buckled in we were off. Seven minutes later we landed in an untouched location with fresh snow. Nothing can describe the experience. The pilot took so many photos for us and explained where we were and answered all our questions. Felt safe & looked after the whole flight. Definitely great value for money & would recommend for a special once in a lifetime experience.

Had the most Amazing Experience with 'Over the Top Helicopters' to Cecil Peak yesterday for the golf challenge. The flight was so smooth and our Pilot Steve was so calming in his demeanor we felt super safe! The scenery is magnificent and quite breathtaking, it almost distracted us from our golf shots! Such a unique concept too. All up this is a 'must do' experience when in Queenstown and suffice to say this Company are very professional and experienced at what they do. Highly Recommend!

My partner and I had an amazing experience, with some truly fantastic views. The pilot was very experienced and we really appreciated the level of effort these guys went to on our Honey moon even bringing up a free bottle of champagne. Top marks!!

Our day started with regular updates from the company regarding the weather and condition’s to fly. Greeted by Victoria who was very welcoming and lovely to deal with. Our pilot Steve was funny and put us at ease with his flying experience and his local knowledge. We flew over amazing views of Glenorchy and surroundings and over to Milford sounds. The flight was seamless, informative and breathtaking. We then landed on a glacier, where we had a champagne experience for my partners 50th birthday. What an experience and the views were amazing. I just want to say how appreciative we were of the professional standards of this company. You would be a foul not to book with them. Steve was funny, professional and kept us at ease. I loved hearing about his experiences with the company and he Inspired me to take up golf lol. Thank you Steve snd Victoria to make our day super special. Regards Leah and Wayne

Took a 3hr heli-cruise-heli ride over Milford Sound with an alpine landing on 04APR19. 45min heli to 1hr cruise and 45min heli back. Absolutely worth every penny and THE BEST DEAL for heliride that we found compared to others. Our pilot was so very helpful and knowledgeable; this became the highlight of our 8 day trip in NZ. Highly recommend choosing this company and everyone was super professional. *They also have a framed parody comic of President Trump in their office, so take that however you will.

We had the best time with Over the Top Helicopters. I surprised my partner by proposing on top of cecil Peak. I thought it would have been difficult to organise being in Australia but the staff made it all possible. It was everything that i had hoped it went to plan. Our pilot Rene was a legend, making us feel like the luckiest people in the world. Took great photos for us and was so nice. Would highly recommend if you wanted to surprise someone special.

We just had the most wonderful experience yesterday, a birthday gift for my husband. we could not fault this business, from Pedro on the desk to our brilliant pilot Michael. From the outset everyone was helpful. It was such a treat to be flown by someone who knows and loves this country and is so familiar with the terrain. My advice to anyone coming here if it is the only thing you have time for, take a flight. The best experience ever

I recently booked Over The Top's 'Picnic on a Peak' trip as a surprise for my wife and it could not have been better. The team were friendly and helpful. The flight itself was comfortable and offered brilliant views over Queenstown, Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables Range. After a very scenic flight we were landed into an idyllic spot with a spectacular view. We were dropped off and left with an excellent picnic containing everything you could want. We had chosen to stay for around 2 hours, but were told we could choose to be picked up earlier if we wanted or stay longer by letting the team know. Having such a beautiful spot all to ourselves truly was magic. I can't recommend this highly enough - especially for a special occasion.

Purchased a 20 minute flight with alpine landing as a birthday present for my partner! We had the best time ever and were absolutely blown away by the views. I was actually quite nervous but I felt extremely safe in over the tops hands. If your considering this as an activity, just do it… you won’t regret it.

Had the best afternoon at Over The Top Golf up Cecil Peak. I couldn't recommend them more highly. Very professional, lots of fun and made me feel so comfortable being in a helicopter for the first time. Best experience ever and my golf crazy husband can't stop talking about it!

We wanted the dog sleeding but because of the weather this wasn't possible. Instead , Katie gave us other opportunities,so we could have a flight over the mountain tops and feel the snow which we are missed so much ! Our pilot Mike, was very professional ,loved this flight ...even didn't feel when he take off, and he explained everything all the way ! All this experience ,like my husband described was SPECTACULAR AND UNFORGHETABLE Thank you so much Katie ,Mike and Pedro!!!

I can honestly say hand on heart this was the best day ever! Landing up on the Remarkables with a 360 BREATHTAKING view was next level amazing!! Pilot was awesome and considering it was my first time in a chopper I felt 100% safe and no nerves at all. Fantastic staff!! Thank you so so so much for making all my dreams come true. Even got to ride on the front which also made my day. Will be back for sure ❤

Celebrated my 61st birthday on November 14, 2017 with an amazing chopper ride over to Milford, landing beside Lake Erskine and on a glacier. Our pilot, James was very experienced and knowledgeable. All round nice guy. The office crew were all very friendly and customer focused. Pets included. Thank you for a great birthday experience. An incredible experience and also amazing value for money compared to the other companies offering similar services. I loved that they also turn off the helicopter once you land so you can hear the sound of silence up on top of the snowy peaks, (not all helicopter businesses do this). If you are down in Otago, this is a once in a lifetime experience not to be missed! Friendly, professional, and knowledgeable.

All I can is WOW! Our heli ride with Over The Top was without a doubt the most amazing thing that we have ever done. This is a must do for anyone traveling to NZ. The entire ride we were speechless and blown away by this beautiful land. Seeing NZ from the ground is pretty spectacular, but from the air it is unreal!! We did the Milford Sound/Glacier landing ride, and I can not recommend this ride enough. I mean how many other times in your life do you have the opportunity to land on top of a glacier!! This was our first helicopter ride and the team at Over The Top made it a great experience. Our pilot was extremely skilled and made everyone onboard feel safe and secure. The Over The Top Helicopters are by far the newest and best looking of any of the companies around town. They are top notch luxury helicopters. (And the fact that they are sleek all-black helicopters and look SO cool in photos is a plus.) I can't recommend this company and tour highly enough. Do yourself a favor and take this trip with Over The Top. You will remember it for the rest of your life. Worth every single penny.

I was merely a passenger on a wedding photography flight but was massively impressed by the professional and generous attitudes by the two pilots who flew our helicopters. They went out of their way to accommodate the photographers and made our flights an experience to remember.

Of course anytime you fly in a helicopter it's a fun experience. But nothing can prepare you for this spectacular experience. The beauty of New Zealand is awe inspiring when guided by an Over the Top pilot. Ours knew every inch of the landscape and as a photographer I was impressed beyond words. This was an experience of a lifetime and and perhaps best experienced in pictures. #overthetophelecopters Thank you Over The Top for an unforgettable experience. I was passing through Queenstown whilst on holiday and wanted to take a helicopter excursion in order to propose to my girlfriend. With only a couple days notice, I booked an "Alpine snow landing" through Over The Top". From the start their team were extremely helpful in making things happen in order that my proposal went smoothly! From organising champagne glasses to providing suitable footwear for my girlfriend - who was not really properly attired for a surprise landing on a snow covered mountaintop in the middle of summer! The helicopter was a "Squirell" which was very comfortable and the pilot was friendly and knowledgable about the area we flew over - and maintained normal conversation despite the very slight turbulence we encountered! An amazing company for an amazing event.
