E.Fantastic tour today with Andrew! Loved the combination of two very different lands with Rotorua and Hobbiton, and Andrew’s overview of the history of New Zealand was interesting and informative. One of the best cruise shore excursions I’ve done.

N.Our tour guide, Andrew, arrived to pick us up the exact minute that had been arranged. He very entertainingly talked New Zealand history with us, among about a zillion other topics that he's well versed in, on our drive to the attractions and back again.
The tour itself ran very smoothly despite unexpected road construction on our planned route. Tickets were taken care of and he managed to get us to the front of the line at Waitomo without having to wait.
On top of the really fun, carefree, and informative tour, Andrew gave advice on our travel plans that was spot-on perfect. We followed that advice and had an incredible time. It was worth every penny and then some!
R.Natalie was animated, knowledgeable and friendly! This was the most comprehensive tour we experienced while in Australia and New Zealand. From the Tauranga city tour to the Maorii Village, with geothermal activity and the delicious hotel lunch to the Polynesian Spa, the day was filled with excitement and wonder! C.Our guide was Andrew and he was amazing! He knew a lot of facts and trivia about New Zealand and Hobbiton and he made an interesting trip. Not only that, he was attentive and made sure everyone was having a lovely time.
The Waitomo Caves were absolutely mesmerising and something we won’t see again in our lifetime. Hobbiton movie set was just like stepping into the movie and for a fan it was a dream come true.
M.This is the best way to see the Waitomo Glow Worm Caves and Hobbiton Movie Set in one day. The attractions are quite a way from Rotorua but Andrew made it easy. He collected us in a modern air conditioned mini bus - there were only 8 in our group. The benefits to paying a little extra were we didn’t have to drive and we were with a lovely small group, Andrew our guide was very knowledgeable about the attractions and explained interestin facts about New Zealand as we drove through the countryside. The drive was approx 2 hrs, arriving about 11:30 am. We visited some ostriches as an unexpected bonus! and had chance to feed them!
There are some large groups going in the caves!
But Andrew arranged it so we went through the caves with a smaller group to enhance our experience!!! It was all done for us. The glow worm caves were awesome. Andrew then took us to Hobbiton where he organised our tickets and timed things well so we could do both lengthy activities in one day - therefore there was a bit of a wait before entering Hobbiton which we filled nicely with gift shopping, ice creams and a cafe visit.
Hobbiton movie set was so much more than I imagined. The whole experience was fantastic. A wonderful day.
R.Natalie was an excellent driver and guide. The Deluxe Shore Excursion to the Maori Village and Polynesian Spa was great. Highly recommended. Tour very well organised and timings perfect.
a.Had booked tour thru get your guide wuth discovery tours as partner. Due to lack of communication between we found tour to hobbiton and waitomo cancelled. Discovery tours out of service but did help to secure refund
P.Just did the Rotorua trip with Natalie. Top tour - nice new bus - friendly and informative anglo -kiwi guide - loved the stops - great food - great value - the highlight of our NZ trip so far.
