L.Nice stay here at Bay Court. Close to town, and across the road from the lake. Very friendly gentleman at reception showed me up to my very compact 1 bedroom apartment. It was a very crammed little space, but perfectly acceptable for my 1 night. Room had a lovely big Spa Bath in the bathroom, with good water pressure.
Value for money was spot on. Certainly not the flashiest motel, but it does the job.

M.Joseph was very welcoming and friendly, took us to our room and showed us where everything was and made us feel right at home! The room was beautifully furnished and modern looking, 10 minute walk into town for restaurants, and directly across the road from the lake. Beautiful views. Will be back again!
S.I was so surprised as this room we booked for 4 adults and 2 kids, is the best lake view room in this hotel.
3 big bedrooms and a large living room can give the family enough space.
There are 2 big windows and a side window in the living room, with 2 coaches gave me the best view without going to anywhere else.
Large bathroom with bath and shower separately, kitchen with big fridge freezer and coffee machine etc.
Overall, this budget room has more than I thought. The reception staff also gave my kids bath toys and bottle milk. I highly recommended this motel and this lake view room to everyone.

V.Absolutely amazing, spacious rooms had booked for 7 individuals and the apartment did not disappoint. Beautiful view, friendly staff and a beautiful cozy stay.
S.We had a very comfortable overnight stay at the Bay Court Motels on 6 July on our way to Tauranga. We arrived late at night and were warmly welcomed by David, who showed us to our car park, then to our 1 bedroom unit on level one. We couldn't fault the accommodation - it was very clean and had everything we needed...and more! The queen size bed was comfy and had hotel quality linen. There was a TV in the bedroom, and extra blankets and pillows in the wardrobe. The bathroom was spacious - with a large spa bath, and the water pressure in the shower was great!! The kitchenette was well appointed, and the lounge area although small, had a wall heater, TV, sofa bed, dining table & chairs and room for a single bed (if needed). This motel has been under new management since the first week of July 2018, so you can safely ignore any previous negative feedback!
We'd definitely stay there again and for longer. We can highly recommend this motel for comfort, the fabulous lakefront location and excellent value for money!! :)

A.Clean and comfortable motel right in front of Lake Taupo and close to the city centre, restaurants and shops. The decoration was a bit old school, but the room was quite large. Netflix and internet available. Plus, we had a bathtub. Parking is also available on site. Would definitely recommend.
M.The service was awesome, great welcome and they made sure I knew all the required information about the room that they kindly upgraded for me which was a great surprise driving from Tauranga..The spa bath was just what we needed after a hard days work..heaps of heaters in the rooms which was a bonus for us..we will return 👍

H.Clean motel, contactless check in for Covid. The beds were comfortable and pillows soft. The spa tub was enjoyable. The heater in the lounge warmed up the room nicely. There were bed heaters. The kitchenette was fully stocked to make a meal. Lakefront view across the main road.
D.Great place, clean and well maintained. The sound isolation can be better, yet the room has all what tourist needs. The kitchen is clean and the beds are comfortable. The location is superb with the lake across the street and stores close by. All rooms have jacuzzi bathtubs, and we used it everyday after going to the lake.
A.Pretty decent property, a few rhings getting a bit tired in the rooms, alot of swelling on bathroom wood, and patches of mould on the curtains, room felt a bit damp. But an okay stay regardless :)

P.I would have given 5 stars but no, frist I start with the good, 10 out of 10 for cleaners, the rooms are nice but the bed is like sleeping on rocks very hard and the hot water in the kitchen was not hot, we rung the front desk and they said run the hot water tap on full it will help but it did not help.
T.Super friendly owners with a great location only 10 minutes walk away from downtown Taupo. Our shower had seen a bit of age, but other than that the kitchen area was perfect with a comfy bed and all usual motel items including Sky TV and free parking.

P.Stayed a night on Sunday 24th April 2016 (Anzac Weekend) with breakfast (of your choice) served, with a small fee. It was a simple and hearty breakfast. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. A fair price for 3 people.
Karen and Terry were the motel host and they were very helpful. 👍👍👍

A.Good solid accomodation, clean, well presented, with great wifi. Handy location been on the waterfront, walkable distance to pubs and eateries. Only gripe would be no aircon as the rooms got rather warm.

We loved the super nice spa and living space we got it was so amazing to get Netflix as well. My family had a nice rest and are planning another trip back to stay in the same place. Thank you

G.(Translated) Our apartment was clean, but the furnishings looked very dated and in need of renovation. "Luxurious" was the apartment - contrary to what a sign above the entrance to the motel would have led you to believe.
The double bed in the bedroom was not very comfortable. The jacuzzi in the bathroom had the charm of a bathtub from the 70s and did not invite you to use it. The rather noisy fan in the bathroom didn't make it any better.
On the positive side, however, the receptionist was very helpful and friendly.
All in all, the motel is fine for a couple of nights. But it is certainly not particularly comfortable or even "luxurious".

Unser Apartment war zwar sauber, die Einrichtung wirkte allerdings sehr veraltet und renovierungsbedürftig. "Luxuriös" war das Apartment - anders als ein Schild über dem Eingang des Motels glauben machen wollte - nicht.
Das Doppelbett im Schlafzimmer war nicht sehr bequem. Der Whirlpool im Badezimmer hatte den Charme einer Badewanne aus den 70er Jahren und lud nicht zur Benutzung ein. Der recht laute Ventilator im Badezimmer machte es nicht besser.
Positiv anzumerken ist allerdings, dass der Rezeptionist sehr hilfreich und freundlich war.
Alles in allem ist das Motel für ein paar Übernachtungen ganz in Ordnung. Sonderlich komfortabel oder gar "luxuriös" ist es aber sicherlich nicht.
