L.Best apartment we have ever stayed in, room was lovely and very quiet due to the double glazing, it was perfect for our short stay.
A.Immaculate apartments. No outdoor area to enjoy although there is a pool area. Check in can be frustrating if you arrive late
N.The Quest hotel Taupö, what I say it's good value, not 5 star but it offers good rooms with lots of amenities ie washer and dryer, cooking facilities, decent fridge, and a ok bed. Walking distance from town gives it the ability to be central.
g.Would have given five if the toilet brush wasn't so filthy. I threw it in the bin. Hope they didnt put it back.
M.Clean and very good room. Hidden charges for getting back into the hotel if you were out late ($70) were taking the mickey.
M.My second visit and enjoyed every bit of it. Close to Taupo shopping center. Bedrooms are lovely with comfortable beds and pillows extra blankets heating washing machine and dryer kitchenette. You got everything. A must try 👍👍
D.The reception lady when we arrived yesterday was amazing! Super accommodating and friendly. The room has a washing machine and dryer which is great! Only downside is the weird smell throughout the whole building. Its in a central location which makes it super easy to get around.
j.Visually looked great, there were two important maintenance issues with the room we requested be attended to but were not done until the afternoon receptionist got involved. We are mature travelers who found the instructions on everything via the TV daunting, we do like a folder with all the information contained therein.
No opening windows, we could not get the room temperature to suit, especially at night, too hot. Room seemed stuffy, we do like a change of air. Housekeeping seemed to be OK
I.The service was friendly and the room was clean with adequate kitchen and laundry facilities in the room. It was also quiet but within a reasonable distance to both a store and the eateries.
The room was overly warm and the bed was too soft and I didn't get on with the pillows at all. After a long day all I wanted was a good night's rest and I found that hard to achieve.
J.Fine for a quick stop over. Nice and clean and well appointed. Generous sized executive rooms. Lack of fresh air with no opening windows, Just the air con, made it feel stuffy.

E.A modern building with up to date new appartments. We selected this hotel because we needed to wash our cloths. The washing machine and dryer worked well and were so a good state. The ventilation on the facility is not good. Food smells of others hang in the corridors for a long time. Beware the reception is closed early and you need to make arrangements for the key on advance. The hotel is on the outskirts of Taupo
T.Really enjoyed my stay with Quest Taupo from the moment we walked in. The check in staff were very friendly and polite. We stayed in a Studio Room which was well appointed with good appliances, utensils, heat pump, excellent bathroom, good shower pressure and comfortable bed. There is also a big selection of movies on demand at no extra cost, this was great and there were many new releases as well.
What really made my stay was the staff. Shayna (I think her name is) was more than helpful. We had to extend our stay at last minute and Shayna made the whole thing stress-free and put me at ease.
I will absolutely stay with Quest Taupo when I return.
P.Slept well. Windows dont open so could not air out the room from the cheap nasty air freshener they over used. If the room has an odor, clean it dont try to hide it. Staff service was average. Compared to other places it was a bit pricey during the week.
B.A great town to visit. So picturesque. Highly recommend a sail to the Mauri carvings.
The quest is new and has all the facilities that you would expect, even a swimming pool. The rooms are generally clean and tidy but overall it lacks the love and care that both Parnell and Queens town have. Also no sign of any sustainability initiatives which is disappointing.
Worth a visit because the town and lake are stunning but just did not feel the love.
Z.The room was so nice with a dishwasher, a stove top, a washing machine and a dryer in the room AND washing powder, dishwasher liquid and washing up liquid!! The bathroom was clean and modern with great water pressure and hot water the beds were comfy and clean and a great night sleep. I would definitely recommend this motel to anyone staying in Taupo
J.Stayed the weekend and think it's great. Price is good. Room is very clean and tidy. They provide everything in the room. Even cooking facilities and a washer dryer. Plus.. AC! :D
J.Rooms are clean and modern with all the amenities available. Walking distance to most restaurants in the city and close to supermarket. However my biggest gripe is that they only provide complimentary WiFi which is essentially 1gb of data. You have to pay $5 to get unlimited.
C.Lovely staff, nice new facility, clean well equipped room with comfortable bed and pillows and warm too. Was great after a long drive. Easy parking too. Everything you need.

Room was OK. I have stayed at many Quest apartments in Australia and New Zealand and this would be a little below the average.
Worth a look however and the value for money was good.

A.we bought the grabone deal worth 165$. must say we were impressed with the rooms.
it has everything one needs during their stay. rooms are well furnished with a tv, a full kitchennet with vessels gas range, microwave, fridge, dishwasher.
the bathroom has a washer and dryer for one to use. was definitely a good stay.
we are coming back.
R.This was home for the last 10 weeks and was satisfied with the clean rooms and very nice people at reception. There was no Sky cable and spa (as what some of the booking sites offered) so those are two things they can work on.
K.Comfortable bed, clean, nice sized bathroom. Couple things which would have been great- Sky TV, Free Wi-Fi (which had to be paid for!) These are regular offerings at Motels these days, so I'm not entirely sure why they weren't at Quest Taupo. Rest OK
P.Booked late afternoon, great communication once confirmed room available. Room was warm, clean. Great access to the pools hose needed to de-ice the car.
C.Nice room but has a bad smell, my friend and I stayed here for two nights after staying at another Quest hotel in Rotorua which was amazing but we found this paticular location a little lacking in comparison. Be warned that if you've stayed at other Quest hotels that this one charges for wifi, and almost all its movies. The hotel had a hot tub and pool right beside the parking lot and the room was very nice and clean but like I've stated before it has a very unpleasant odor; like fish. As others have stated before the hotel is very centrally located and is walking distance to most things needed in the town.
C.Room was nice and clean. Kitchen in the apartment had sufficient plates and cultery to meet our needs. Reception and cleaning staff were all nice and friendly
G.Place was clean and staff courteous . Power was out so it had been a little challenging cleaning the rooms but it came back on right when I got there. Staff asked me to let them know if I needed anything.
R.Quest apartments generally look good but this one was let down by the builder and owners cutting corners. The windows don't open and the fresh air vents blew the neighbors fire smoke the whole time we were there. The kitchen floor flooded from the floor trap every time we emptied the sink. This had been going on for some time.as the carpet was damaged. None of the appliances had been tested and tagged to comply with NZS3760. The tv distribution system was also married by constant signal dropouts. The appliances are cheap so either noisy or barely functional. All in all a cheap finish for what is a relatively new outfit.
J.Tidy, clean, modern, and well equipped. Not waterfront but handy to everything. Quiet and nicely presented. Good sized room. Will book again
