P.I went for a Heli Bike with Wanaka Bike Tours, the whole experience was awesome. The gear was all supplied and the rental bike they gave me was near new and in great condition. The flight up had amazing views of the Wanaka basin, our guide had heaps of great info about the area and was fun to hang with. The ride down had a good mix of fun playful terrain, all in all it was well worth it.
n.As an average and not confident down hill biker I really enjoyed this adventure. I have done both trips and they are incredible - Terrain and views! Insane!

Dan is a top level rider himself and a great guy with knowledge of all the riding trails around suitable for any level rider and his bikes are top of the line. Communication was fast and to the point.
The shuttle pickup was on time, comfy ride and great scenery with abundant local commentary from our friendly driver - Tom.
The bikes are of top notch quality, performed very well and despite us venturing out from Albert Town to Luggate half way - the battery charge held really well. We’ve done 70+ km in one day.
Pickup in Wanaka was smooth and effortless, on time. Very friendly crew. Enjoyable ride. Would highly recommend these guys.

D.Excellent family day out amongst stunning scenery on a beautiful Central Otago day. Matt made sure we had everything we needed in the way of e-bikes and, when we did have a issue with a chain breaking, he responded immediately with a replacement bike which enabled us to complete the cycle track. We would thoroughly recommend this Activity for anyone holidaying in Wanaka.

J.I was recommended to Dan by a good mate as the best in the business in Wanaka and he didn’t disappoint. Dan has modern bikes, knows all tracks including a few that are only known to locals and his pick up and drop off service was first class. Dan was happy to talk biking and provide sound advice including pointing us in the direction of a craft brewery at the end of the ride so we could rehydrate. If you love biking and want a fun day out, Dan’s your man!

J.Matt and Tom at WBT we’re great. Foggy day up the hill. Next best adventure- e-bikes around the foreshore then up the Clutha and around the superb Deans Bank Track. Perfect. Seamless. Bikes worked well and picked up after our ride by Tom -friendly and professional, while we were enjoying our apres beer at a Lake front cafe.
E.Dan & wanaka bike tours was one of the highlights of my trip to wanaka! we had a mutual friend set us up with them and had an absolute blast! It was so fun to do the 1/2 day ride from Hawea to wanaka and the Rippon winery. I think the ride is suitable for many ages and abilities as I was not experienced. Next time I’ll definitley try the heli biking tour! Thanks Dan!
