R.We did the jet boat trip and bush walk. Probably the top thing we did over a week in Wanaka. Excellent service, from pickup to delivery at river, the trip and the walk. Make sure you take a second layer and a jacket as its much cooler in the range compared with Wanaka. Well worth the cost, great scenery and the boat trip is excellent!
B.Awesome (in the true sense of the word) experience. Wanaka is alpine beauty on your doorstep and this jet boat tour puts you in the heart of it. Our driver, James was fun and knowledgeable, a passionate nature lover, and thrilling driver. The experience was the highlight of our holiday.
D.We did the jet boat, nature walk and pack raft, absolutely fantastic. Jet boat was great fun with great info about the area, walk was through beautiful mossy old beech forest under the glaciers, and the pack raft was the highlight with lots of fun little rapids and chances to float down the river in wet suits to cool down. Great views of avalanche glacier. Courtney did a great job guiding and teaching us how to use the rafts and run the (gentle) rapids.
R.Absolutely stunning trip up the clutha river. The clutha river is the 2nd richest gold river in the world after the Klondike. This time of the year the trees are turning to gold and make a sharp contrast against the clear blue water. Great drive lots of thrills and turns altogether a must do.
m.We did the packraft trip that included a fantastic jet boat ride up the river,a short but beautiful hike to a private beach where we started our river kayaking. Courtney is a fantastic guide and made sure we ran the river in a way that matched our capabilities. A truly spectacular trip.
C.Having already done two jet boat tours in Queenstown, I was leery of doing a third. But the two hikes we were going to do were closed and our concierge recommended the jet boat tour with the hike. I am so glad we went as it was the highlight of our entire trip for me. This valley is stunning and it is a lot of fun to get this close to the glacier. The guides were professional and top notch. I highly recommend this tour.
L.Highlight of our visit to Wanaka. Incredible scenery and fabulous ride. They provide long waterproofs and life vests and the boat has heated handrails so we did not get cold or wet. Ben was a superb driver and guide - we learned a lot, took amazing photographs, and had a thoroughly fantastic time. Highly recommend!!!
J.My 12 year old was begging for a Jet Boat trip, and we wanted to do one, but in more of a scenic way and not just a trip on a lake for just fun. We had a blast! Brent was our guide and he was fantastic. My father was with us and he had recent back surgery and this trip was ok for him too. The boat was fast, and fun. The walk was amazing, and our guide of Wanaka for 40 + years was very knowledgeable. Put your fears aside and run the river!
A.This was a once in a lifetime experience! I went with my family to experience the new Packraft Rafting trip, and it was spectacular! The staff was kind, and the food they provided us was awesome! Everyone should try their new Packraft Rafting trip!
T.What an amazing trip with these guys! The packraft trip was perfect. Fun group, good lunch, amazing views down the river, little bit of excitement on the rapids and the jet boat ride. Definitely my favorite thing booked in nz!
