My husband and I went on the wine tour in early December 2020. Right from the start it was a great experience! Greg met us at our accommodation, immediately made us feel comfortable and it was soon very evident he knew his stuff! We hadn't realized that it was a personalized tour just for us so that was an extra pleasant surprise! We had a fabulous day out, visiting some really superb vineyards. We were not rushed and were treated to an excellent lunch at Misha's. Greg is very knowledgeable and passionate about wine which made the day such an interesting and enjoyable one. We have already recommended Greg to some friends who plan to visit NZ at the end of the year (Covid permitting) and would, ourselves, go on another tour with him! We had a really great experience and would recommend it to anyone interested in wine or learning more about wine.

I signed up for the full day "Magnum" Central Otago wine tour as a birthday present for the wife as part of our planned Queenstown long weekend. Booking it via Air BnB had its moments, but once done Greg was in touch pretty much straight away with details and guidance. Leading up to the trip Greg's messages were frequent, useful, professional, and friendly - we really felt we were in good hands, and were so looking forward to the day. Alas then the Wellington Covid disruptions came along, and for a bunch of logistical reasons we had to can the entire weekend - we were gutted. Greg was very understanding and helpful! So while we are now hoping to do the wine tour sometime in the future, based on our experiences so far I can definitely recommend Greg as a professional service provider. We look forward to zooming around Central in his van to sample the wines and see the sights soon.

My wife and I had a wonderful day with Greg Hughes, our private wine tour guide and owner. Greg is very knowledgeable about the region and wine making. He also has good relationships with the local vineyards. He picked us up and dropped us off at our Cromwell accommodation, allowing us to sample the fantastic wines of the area and to not worry about the driving. This was our first guided wine tour and definitely not the last, though Greg sets the bar high for any future tours. Greg is also a talented photographer. He provided us with some excellent photos to record the day. I am happy to highly recommend Greg and his Wineberry Wine Tours. Cheer to Greg!

Greg was super generous with his knowledge of the region and its wines, and it was a real privilege enjoying the wine experience with him. He took us to cellar doors at boutique wineries we wouldn't have been able to access otherwise, definitely not 4 in half a day. Absolutely recommend a wine tour with Greg for a true Central Otago wine experience (and he does the driving!)

Greg took us on a half day tour of four wonderful wineries, all a wee bit different to each other but all well worth visiting. Greg shares his passion and knowledge of the area and its wines so well and is a great guide. We really enjoyed his knowledge and would thoroughly recommend this tour - Greg is very professional and detailed in everything. There was also a great bonus of his professional photos he captured of our trip - a must do trip if you come to the Wanaka area!

We have spent considerable time in the Wanaka region, and we wholeheartedly recommend Greg's tour as another way to enjoy the local scenery, taste wine and meet the passionate producers of the wine. Having a knowledgeable driver who chose some more niche vineyards that we hadn't thought to visit, and tasting a very wide range of delicious wine is a highly recommended option ... you can just relax and enjoy yourself. Greg also gives you some photos as a momento of the day. A perfect gift for our Mum.

As part of a birthday celebration my wife booked Greg for 3 full day wine tours during our weeks stay. Our fears that 3 days might be too much were unfounded-Greg not only gave us huge amounts of information, but obviously put a huge amount of effort in to make sure we had the best experience... which we did! Can’t recommend Wineberry highly enough - if you like trying different wines then this is the tour company for you!

I booked the Wineberry Demi Tour as a surprise 30th birthday gift for my partner. I spoke to Greg on the phone beforehand who then proceeded to go above and beyond to make my partner and I feel like VIPs on the day. We loved the tour and really appreciated all the extra effort Greg went to. He was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, plus his passion for wine and wine making was infectious. Would definitely recommend Wineberry Tours and we'll certainly be booking again!

I had a brilliant day of wine tasting with Greg. He's a great driver, very knowledgeable about wines, well organised and very interesting company for the tour. The venues were fantastic and very different, both in the phenomenal views but also the varietals of wine offered. Amazing value for money.
