R.Lovely staff, popped in and they filled me with local knowledge, especially helpful as wellington museums where closing down due covid, saved alot of disappointment.
S.I was on my way to somewhere near Victoria border. However, suddenly my phone got no signal and I was totally lost. It was so scary for me, but I followed my instincts and arrived Wellington.
I don’t know her name, but the lady from the reception was very friendly and kind. She found the map for me, highlighted the route for me, and showed me the directions.
If it wasn’t her, I might spend more time on driving and couldn’t arrive my destination before it’s getting dark. I really appreciated.
We definitely need more people like her in our world. : )
J.Beautiful people and so very helpful. They know and love their city and it shows. We got a good recommendation too re places for a hot lunch which we really needed. Lots of good brochures to cover their city and other areas.

p.Awesome helpful staff. Note the temp location at the moment due to earthquake(?) Damage to their usual building. Can easily call these guys for help as well. Tons of brochures for all parts of NZ travel. Bookings possible.
J.Some staff are OK, but when I got my last ticket, the lady just folded the ticket and gave it to me. No instructions on where to wait for the bus or to confirm details correct. I thought that customer service was unfriendly.
C.They were really busy each time I was there but they handled it well. They were all good at their jobs except they really went too fast in explaining or booking a trip because they knew it inside and out.
L.We asked them how far it was to Te Papa Museum and whether we should take an uber. They said yes to taking an uber. Te Papa was behind the building about a 2 minute walk from where we were.
Edit: Still love Wellington and would totes go there again and again and again.
J.Despite the fact that they had to move out of their offices due to earthquake risks and have been put in this very small place, the staff are excellent. They could not do enough for us. If in Wellington and need help with things to do or to have bookings made for you please go and see the great staff at the I-Center 😀
Y.Centrally located, it provides plenty of information about tours and what to do in Wellington and the nearby regions. Staff are welcoming and very helpful to visitors. Unfortunately, signage to the nearest toilets were misleading. We couldn't find it without asking for specific directions.
J.A very helpful lady approached us gave us a great map of wellington town shopping and waterfront.
Had no bus time tables but directed us to the bus and train station to get one.

Central location in the CBD.
Very friendly and helpful staff. I needed very specific info on a place which could not be provided by the staff but they were cordial enough to call the people at the location to get those details.
Nicely maintained.
Filled with lot of information for different parts of country.

W.A gate to have useful information about recommended places to visit in Wellington. Just go there and the staff will warmly welcome and explain you. Dont be hesitate to ask many questions because they love to answer it and ask any recommended and also free places to go.
The centre also provides plenty of tourism destination information, map, bus and ferry schedule, etc.
Just go here before travelling around Wellington.
B.A pick-up and drop off site for many tours and cruise ships. Centrally located and within walking distance to most things in Wellington. A very helpful staff and source for tourist info.

E.Centrally located in downtown Wellington, the visitor center is a good place to stop if you are looking for something to do, need tickets for something you want to do, or need to figure out how to get somewhere. Staff is very helpful and informative. Brochures are arranged by region, making it easy to find things in Wellington or any other part of NZ.
J.Since reopening, the selecting of brochures is way easier. Service is swift, so there's hardly any need to wait to be served.
M.Small. Only two seats. But extremely useful and helpful. And helped us find a public toilet as their one was closed due to construction work.

A.Awesomeness to the max staff and they helped me book my tour. Helped me to my tour bus and looked after me when I had my attacks. I can't fault them. They rock!

B.Very helpful in getting our South Island itinerary sorted out. They also have a small gift shop right there.
