The whole experience was fantastic. Our team of adults with young children and infant were all looked after very well from the start till finish. Great tour and swimming. Great value for money. The team from Cathedral Cove Scenic Tour were very responsive during the booking process and very helpful. The crew on the boat ensures our safety and that all of us will have fun experience.

We had an absolutely amazing time on the boat today. Ken was fabulous at accommodating 7 adults and 7 children (including one with a broken leg and one with a broken arm!). We learnt so much about the area and got to see hundreds of fish whilst snorkeling. Our boys loved being on the boat and the "twisty driving". We will be recommending this cruise to all of our friends heading to Whitianga. Thank you so much!

Ken was fantastic! Knew all the best photo tricks and super accomodating. Honestly one of the best tour guides I’ve had. Great experience for me and my partner and I’d highly recommend this to anyone visiting whitianga!

The colours of the rock formations were spectacular, and the caves were breathtaking. Local knowledge in the geology and history of the area were a great added bonus! Highly recommend!

Awesome tour. Booked last minute when the sea was a bit rough. Had a really good time, the boat was still comfortable even though it was about a 2.5 meter swell. Excellent value for money.

Loved getting to see my own country. Great guides, providing down to earth New Zealand experience. We had the opportunity to jump off a cliff, snorkel, and see sights. Would recommend to anyone in the coromandel

Ken was absolutely Amazing this was the first time our Daughter Zarah actually sat or had been on a boat for this time Ken was absolutely outstanding in every sense of the word she was a bit scared I reassured her everything was going to be ok as we started the trip zarah was able to start the engines that was amazing and she still talks about driving Ken's Boat As our Journey Progresssed my Apologies as I have forgotten his wife's name she was absolutely amazing too. Ken put everyone in life saving vests and briefed us on all the safety features of the life jacket vests before we set out I will say he is a No 1 Professional Skipper I would go out with him in any weather as our family Group stepped on to the Boat some were a bit hesitant but he is truly world class and his boat was so stable well it was an Ex coastguard vessel which really is the best of the best. His local Knowledge of the area is mind blowing and he treats you just like his family thankyou for that lifetime of memories from that outstanding Magiclal day from Mark fauziyah Zarah sashi Pradeep Shristi Prashant in My opinion he is a not to missed operator he will truly transform your boating Experience. Awesome experience, Ken was a great tour guide and was very knowledgeable of all the sites, and was even nice enough to gift us his photo book as an engagement present! His English staffy puppy Stevie who came along for the ride was an added bonus! Highly recommend!

Great Tour! We loved the Boattour to the Cove and all the information in between.The owners are very friendly and everything worked out easy from booking over the ferry to the wharf, to the great Tour. We have seen Dolphins as well and were snorkeling with big fish. Thank you Ken and Georga for this awsom experience!

Another company canceled our tour this morning due to the bad weather. About a 1/2 hour later it was clearing up so I called Cathedral Cove tours to see if they were running today and had any openings. We were able to go out with Ken and couldn’t be happier. The cruise was amazing. Ken had great information about the areas we visited, the history, and the marine life. He took pictures and videos for us that were beautiful. We couldn’t recommend Ken and Cathedral Cove Scenic tours enough!

My partner & I went out with Ken this morning and were very happy we chose him over the other tour boats. Very personal and informative and the trick with filming the snapper was great! Aas Ken's boat is ex lifeguard we were able to navigate much choppier waters than the other boats and go inside the "cave". Snorkelling was good too!

We were very fortunate to experience dolphins during our amazing scenic route. The weather was great and allowed for an exceptional snorkelling adventure. Ken and his team was very professional and made this a trip to remember! The smaller boat allowed for much better interaction with your surroundings (GoPro; water; caves etc).

Had an opportunity to go on their 2 hour trip last summer. Ken knew the local history, and gave us plenty of time for a good view of the coastline. I had a swim and snorkel dive. It was lovely with heaps of schnapper and other species to view. He even opened the throttle on one occasion to give us thrill. Ken has a friendly nature and a "special" laugh. Really enjoyed the trip.

I'm not a boat person but I absolutely adored this adventure! The sights you see are surreal and the tours are really well thought out & informative. Great personality & friendly chap! We were able to see a few penguins bobbing around, lots of ika and some super Seals. Highly recommend putting this in your coro agenda

Great trip. Small boat with personalized itinerary for our family group. Snorkelling was a highhlight and all the gear was supplied.

Had a fantastic trip out with Cathedral Cove Scenic Cruises. Easy to find Ken down at the wharf, the boat is an ex coastguard boat, very stable and comfortable. Scenery was stunning and Ken kept us well informed on the geology and local history that we were seeing. Didn't fancy a swim, but others did! Happy to watch on the t.v as an underwater camera was lowered over the side to give us a fish eye view of the sea bed. All in all my wife and I had a great time and look forward to going back to Whitianga at some time.
