J.A wonderful experience filled with thrills, history, and beautiful sights. Brian, our highly skilled and knowledgeable skipper was a charm. On the day of our tour, conditions were slightly rough and visibility was low, so we missed out on snorkeling. The tour involved seeing huge snapper being fed from the boat, sea caves, and beautiful blowholes along Coromandel. Brian filled us in on the local legends behind a lot of the sights we saw. The entire experience exceeded our group's expectations. Gladly will book this again.

The boat can really pick up speed. We got to see some amazing caves, beaches and fish. A stunning day on the water. Very affordable for a large group.
D.Fantastic couple of hours out on the water with Brian in his very fast and agile vessel. He is very knowledgeable about the local area and gave an amazing tour in and around many natural wonders, I don't think many others would be able to access where he takes his passengers! We were at the end of our time but Brian got a call on the radio about a pod of dolphins in the area, and he whisked us over to enable us a truly special encounter. Thank you, we will definitely come again and go snorkeling next time in the marine reserve!
A.This is a perfect boat tour! Being able to go inside the sea caves is an incredible experience by itself, but it’s so much more fun zipping around between stops. Brian is a fantastic operator with a great sense of humor.
We rotated seats throughout the trip so everyone had a chance to sit at the front. Brian also took several group photos for us and rotated the boat so we were able to take pictures from different sides. Towards the end of the trip we stopped for a quick snorkel and got to see some massive snapper.
This tour is such great value, I’m still amazed how much we were able to do in 2 hours. Would definitely go again.

Our Ultimate cruise today was more than we ever expected. Even if the weather hadn't been as spectacular as it was today still wouldn't have diminished our respect and admiration for the way Brian conducts his business. He is personable, prompt, respectful (more than I would have been to 2 latecomers who arrived way past check in time) and has a great personality to boot. The newly fitted RIB craft is a twin engined 10-12 seater and as the trip is billed for thrill seekers and adventurers, the soft comfortable seats and rails to hold on to are just the job. His knowledge and sense of fun has everyone in awe and fits of laughter and his ability to capture just the right places for numerous shots and views is honed to perfection. The trip was a good 2 hours and literally whizzed by with lots of thrills, the beauty and wonderment we felt at the Cathedral Cove, Ice rock etc etc were unparable. Two plucky passengers went off to snorkel among shoals of snapper and it was another highlight. As you can gather, can't say enough about this trip and will definately do it again - why don't you :)

J.Very enjoyable. Brians kiwi humour definitely made the tour even more enjoyable with the zooming speed on the boat. The water was a little rough that day, so had to venture out to an unscheduled destination, but it was still just as beautiful and eerie. The rough waters made the trip thrilling as we had a few moments flying over the waves. And having a few salt water showers. I'd love to do it again.

E.Our tour guide 'Brian' was excellent. Informative and a bit of fun. The sea was choppy but he handled it well and great skills getting us in close to the caves. Beautiful sites, easy booking site, great trip. Definitely recommend this tour!
G.Brian is an expert with the boat. He's super friendly. When Brian says hang on, he's not kidding. He just floors it. You never feel unsafe. He takes you into all the caves. We have a 2 and 6 year old and Brian recommended the back seat. I'd recommend it too as it's more comfy and very safe for the kids. If you sit at the front, there's no way you can hold onto your 2 year old and to the boat.
Again, it's totally safe. Brian always checks with everyone to make sure that everyone is comfortable at all times.
Please note that the back seat is noisy but comfortable to sit. My wife had a headache due to the petrol fumes, she's got a sensitive nose. The kids and I had no problems.
Brian, if you can get a soundproof cover for your engine and if that re-directs fumes away from the back seat and if a dealer sells it in Auckland, I'm more than happy to hand deliver it to you for $100 from Auckland. [email protected]

B.As a former tour operator on the Great Barrier reef, QLD.. I am very happy to see the professionalism / fun / informative combination, that is so important in a tour such as this. Terry the Skipper and Michele the 1st mate are amazing fun, genuine and lovely people. The trip was made completely about us which was fantastic. The kids were so excited after the trip. they couldn't stop talking about it when they got home, and the adults all admitted the learnt something new even though they had lived in the area for the past 10 years... Well done Cave Cruzer.

A.The best thing to do if you ever go to whitianga... There are a range of boat tours but nothing like this one... With the fastest boat, a funny host, and a very fun wavey ride.... Total bliss.. 10/10 recommend for more than your money's worth.
