Old school has been evolving so rapidly that I couldn’t find any clue of what it was like before. However, this place is where i grew up so I definitely love this place.

sometimes I stalk people on the river bank so when they come close I run at them and pretend I am a alligator hunting its prey and pull the kids in the water and stomp on their heads

One of the top education in Auckland and come with the costs, also have scholarship Available also! When you are given that opportunity don’t take it for granted and run with it and see where it would take you at the end of those 5 years and embrace it! Be humble and remember your roots

An excellent school with very good people behind it and great, extensive grounds that allow the kids to enjoy a wide range of sports and activities that allow their minds to stay active for learning.

A decent school. Holds many nostalgic memories. But this school is a prime example of judging a book by it's cover. Though the facilities are well kept and most of the teaching staff are good at getting across their point, there are some staff which are below average. I find as being a student of this school that some of the staff do not deserve their positions and should be given to teachers who can actually manage. This review may seem biased due to being a student but hear me out. Not pointing any fingers here but one of the heads of a subject which I will not disclose did a horrible job of putting across his point, often leaving out key info which he would call us out on. The only thing that ever pushed me through that class was his witty jokes. He has a warped mindset, saying tracing is alright. It clearly isn't. It's taking someone else's work and drawing over it, then claiming at your own. Clearly going against the schools preaching's about plagiarism. Aside from that the school overall is fine. I enjoyed my time here.

This school has great facilities and a beautiful view from the fields to the see.

From the outside, Saint Kentigern College seems like it may have everything that a great high school should have: skilled staff, clean and large facilities, infinite opportunities and financial backings. However, one should never judge a book by its cover, for the biggest issue this college has are the spoilt, ignorant majority of student bodies and indifferent staff. Saint Kentigern College views itself as a rival to other New Zealand's top high schools, such as Auckland Grammar School and King's College (though King's College is really below the aforementioned two secondary schools). This is true only for sports, which is all the ex-headmaster used to address with passion. Academic and moral values come very far down the list at this high school, and that perpetuates Saint Kentigern College's problems. Respected leaders in contemporary society are those who put in effort and academic talent into their work, not those who rely purely on their (parents') money or abilities in sport, and yet, the handful of IB and NCEA Scholarship students are not given all the support and recognition at Saint Kentigern College, unlike its top sports teams. The fault may be in staff or students or both. But in order for SKC to call itself one of the best high schools in New Zealand, it must place more focus on scholars and regulate teacher contributions and student behavior. Wealth and fitness mean nothing when the individual is intellectually and morally bankrupt.

I caught a couple boys vaping in the toilets during lunch, they told me it was an inhaler and to not tell the teachers but they got what they deserved! Hahahah. I have no friends here.

Fantastic facilities for sports!

Your little princes/princesses will love coming to this great educational centre. It is a great learning environment, with a wide variety of opportunites. 1000/10

St Kents has a wonderful facility overlooking the Tamaki Estree. Great for Education and good for Sports

Great school so far. I have had a few bad teachers there but its common in every school.

Please do not hate guys, I go to this school and I know everyone to be kind caring and loving I've made great friends there and they are really grateful for getting into a school like this, They are not spoilt and mean.

Best education center for your young children to invest their interests in sports along with education

this school is one great educational centre with the greatest learning environments you can give your little prince/princess. 1000/10

Saint Kentigern is said to be the best private school in New Zealand, and to me and my family, we would say it is. There are many opportunities for students, covering music, sport and a wide range of learning.
