Chances are you will be reading my review. It's because of you are an international student who is planning to come here in University of Otago . You are looking for a place that is suitable for post-grads and viola - you've stumbled upon this place. You may ask it is it worth it or not . This is going to be a long review/comprehensive review Now. I'll cover some aspects Community - 5 🌟. You'll find heaps of international students here. It's good to meet people from various different countries. Plus you'll find a sense of belonging. It's like cheers - people do you know by your name ! Also there are heaps of activities organised by the college Accommodation - 3.5 stars. It's decent place. I mean it's well insulated. You are protected against harsh winter conditions. If you come from a warm part of the world like me. You'll appreciate it. However, the place is not modern. It's converted from an old motel. The decors are from 1980. May not to be everyone's liking as for the same price you can get a better place Location - 4 🌟. It's super close to the university. 10 mins walk. It's next to the botanical garden. It takes you about 15mins to walk to city centre. Isn't that amazing? Food - 2.5 🌟. Now this is subject. The biggest advantage of abbey is that you don't have to cook / prep your meals. It's being catered. It can be a blessing or curse. Now because the catering team has to cater for a lot of people, it may not have your favourite food/taste/things you are looking for. If you aren't a picky eater - that's fine. Generally food served here are healthy Now it's up to you to take this information and process it.

It's a place for post-grads students who really want to take advantage of the most of their time. Only 10 min walk to Uni, foods are provided for all the week for three portions a day and many other facilities.
