Absolutely incredible! The staff are kind, professional and informative, our session was delayed a couple times due to the weather, but it was understandable since we were well informed and prepared ahead, I also did the second jump in the same month deal, which was a wonderful value! Extremely glad I did my 20,000 feet jump with them!

Thanks Team, an amazing experience in the hands of professionals, not sure what I was expecting but I know the video footage showed a huge smile from 1300ft to zero..

It was amazing experience. For me, it was even very scary and emotional day, but thanks to Skydive Abel Tasman it was totally amazing. The crew was very nice, friendly and helpful and I have enjoyed this experience as much as it was possible. I was supposed to do jump from 9000 feet, but I have decided to pay little bit more and did the 13000 feet. And it definitely worth it. I would come again, if I could. The perfect experience and service. I was amazed and I can definitely recommend Skydive Abel Tasman.

I am doing the AFF course with Skydive Abel Tasman. James, Will and Jake have been taking me through the training levels and are absolute professionals when it comes to safety and also make the whole experience a lot of fun. Would highly recommend. Thanks Guys!

It was my first time skydiving and it was a perfect first time experience. My tandem dive instructor had the right energy about them to put my mind at ease to make throwing yourself out of an aeroplane as enjoyable of an experience as possible. The scenery is just stunning in this part of the world too, like a scenic flight on steroids.

I may not be original but anyway : IT WAS JUST CRAZY ! The crew is exceptional, they put you in a chill and really happy vibe talking to you and explaining all the steps.. our tandem were Rod and Riki : the best !! Thanks a lot both of you ! you were just perfect and we were pretty surprised not to feel the fear actually... sure we were a bit stressed but it disappeared really fast as you got on the plane and go up in the sky, thanks to the tandem masters ! The camera flyer Taylor was as cool as the tandems : besides his communicative smile, he made us a really cool video and crazy photos ! The drop off was just one of the best moments of our trip and our life ! The freefall is kind of quick so I really recommend the biggest jump (5km) to enjoy the thing as much as possible ! Thanks as well to the two guys who prepared us for the jump (Ben and.. I don’t remember !), David for the mails and the explanations and all the crew in general ! You made our day and put a crazy souvenir of our world tour in our head ! I hope I’ll be able to continue to jump in Europe, the first thing I said to Rod when the parachute opens was : you are really making that for a living.. I want to do that as well haha ! I didn't jump but my friend did and from what I could see everyone in the team was friendly and professional. The guy jumping with my mate was great, he really made my friend feel as at ease as possible. I'd definitely recommend Skydive Abel Tasman to anyone looking for a safe and fun experience of jumping out of a plane.

I did a 16,500ft jump here and it was amazing way to tick this off my bucket list. The staff were incredible, very friendly and trying their best to make it an amazing experience. The price is excellent compared to what we could have paid in the UK, and the views both when going up in the plane and when falling were stunning! I'd highly recommend paying out for the higher jump as the free fall is the best part and I'd have been so disappointed with the shorter lower jump. If you want to skydive, these are the people to do it with!

You feel a little rushed through. Signing in to then wait for over an hour is rather painful too, never had to do that at other skydive outfits. Other than that pretty wicked

My daughter wanted to give me a 60th birthday present I'd never forget. WOW absolutely amazing experience. I must admit to a few nerves at the thought of jumping out of a perfectly safe plane but after going through the introduction / safety brief and meeting with the very professional relaxed team I was really keen to do it. Thank's to the whole team but a special thanks to James for making my first jump such a memorable time. I thoroughly enjoyed it from moment we left straight into a back flip and awsome freefall to a perfectly soft landing. Great location and staff.

Friendly staff, straightforward and simple pre jump prep/kit fitting, communicative tandem jumpers who will make you feel at ease. I did 9k feet for a first jump which was so thrilling!! Will go again.

Fabulous staff, felt safe throughout the experience

Our 11 year old son did his first ever dive from 9000ft and loved every second. Lilly was awesome keeping it all running like clockwork with endless energy, and our sons dive master was amazing. Get the on wrist video it's well worth it!!! Already planning our next one!

Welcoming and helpful staff. As an experienced jumper, they set me up with a temporary NZ license, gave me a dropzone briefing and provided me with rental gear. I managed to get on a load with a couple of regulars that were skilled and friendly. Even after my jump I was offered a ride with one of the staff that just got off work. The visuals you get here on a clear day are pretty stunning. Highly recommend! Thanks guys!

Great experience, friendly staff, very professional

Staff there made sure that safety is of the top priority and they are very friendly as well. Would also point out to you the different sights as you fly over in the plane and they also make it a point to calm your nerves. Extremely fun experience and would definitely go for a second jump!

Being able to do a tandem skydive was amazing. The people at Skydive Abel Tasman were confident, skilled and super friendly. They clearly enjoy what they do and it shows.

Most thrilling experience ever! The staff is really professional and you feel really safe until sitting on the edge of the plain. Once you jumped out it won't be scary anymore. Totally would recommend taking the 16500ft jump because it's over faster than you might think.

Once-in-a-life experience!! Unforgettable!! I did the Skydive with my husband Tyler and we came all the way from Texas US!! The skydive jump was unforgettably awesome and I still can't believe we did it in Nelson-Tasman, NZ after couple days! I had motion sickness and went through the jump a little rough but definitely NO regrets! i was a little scared when the airplane door was open but I told myself if I would not jump this time, I would probably NEVER choose to jump for the rest of my life. My instructor "Scruffy (Richard)" was good and he gave me a great jump. My videographer "Matt" was the best ever!!! I have never come across such a thoughtful cameraman like him before. He not only ensured I would look great in the camera but also taught me how to take care of the motion sickness after the jump. He took every possible angle to make me looked comfortable and graceful in the camera and looked "proud" in the video the whole time!! This is highly recommended to everyone who is brave to challenge it!!

What a bunch of awesome people, very accommodating and the whole experience was totally amazing.....get out of the comfort zone and get into it, its a blast.

LOVED this experience more than anything. The skydive was amazing, and it was everything I wanted. However, while we were there, a staff member at the front desk was extremely pushy and rude. A few of our members were not able to pay to go any higher for the jump, and the worker made them feel pressured and guilty that they couldn't afford it. Along with this, there was more comments she made to many of our members that made them feel unwelcome, almost as if we were a burden to her. Like I said before, amazing over all and I would do it a thousand times over, but the attitude of that staff member negatively affected our group, and should be resolved for future customers.

Done a 16500ft tandem jump last weekend along with my daughter for her 21st birthday. Totally awesome and professional. I'm coming back next year with mates for my 50th.....

WOW ... WOW... WOW !!! Absolutely amazing I always thought “I’ll never to this”, but it’s not hard at all. Your treated like a king from all the people at Abel Tasman they are very professional and safety is number one. I would recommend you jump, at least 13000 ft or above because the free fall of 45 seconds feels like 5 seconds, it’s because everything is so overwhelming with breath taking views you just can’t believe what your looking at. My tandem master James was fantastic, boy does he know his stuff and it was a joy to have someone guiding me safely back to the ground in comfort. Dan was my photographer and took some remarkable pictures and video that I will cherish and share with family and friends. Thanks to everyone at Abel Tasman Skydive for a remarkable adventure!!!! I cannot thank Kevin & Scruffy for such a fabulous experience. Everything was so well thought out. The welcome was very friendly & the safety briefing was very professional & reassuring. We were assigned a tandem instructor who looks after you from beginning to end. We climbed up to 13,000 feet which gave us a fantastic view of Motueka, the countryside & the shoreline. Then the free fall skydive began. Stuffy was great getting me started & before I knew it I was falling at 120 mph. Then the parachute deploys & a screaming world becomes quiet & reassuring. The landing came too soon. Thank you Skydive Abel Tasman.

WOW! This was such an amazing experience, I jumped from 16,500 meters. The view and free fall tumbling was unforgettable. Plus the workers were super nice.

Amazing way to celebrate life

Omg. All good until they open the door on the side of the aeroplane and it all suddenly starts to get real. Forget the actual moment of putting you feet out and surrendering yourself to the jump master actually launching you out of the plane.... Then suddenly, you drop. You are falling and every nerve in your body is telling you that you are falling - and yet the impact never comes like it would have at lower heights in your average earth-bound day-to-day life. Although the ground far below is coming up towards you at an alarming rate, it is a truly awesome experience. You have time to actually "enjoy" the experience. Then the chute pops, the harness claws your shoulders for a moment, and you can breathe again.... Only negative? Its a bit of a production line. Even one is awesome, friendly, but it's fast and not very personal.

Unreal experience. Julie at the front desk was super helpful! Other lady was nice too and the guys going up know what they’re doing. Never felt uncomfortable I would recommend diving here.

Awesome DZ. I came here as a fun jumper and not too many places cater for that on the South Island. I’m from the UK too and they sorted all the paperwork. I did my 99th and 100th here. The team looked after me so well and I got footage to mark the event. They also made me do a ‘Hundie Undie’! NZ style! 🤙 Beautiful views of the sea and mountains. I would recommend the DZ to anyone.

The experience is amazing! You should call before coming or you might have to deal with a pretty unfriendly woman in the staff! But apart from that, it's really worth it.

Skydive Able Tasman has change my perspective on everything! How amazing it was to be up so high and look down on a small place like Motueka with, mountains, river and golden beaches surrounding it, was amazing and indescribable. The team at Skydive Abel Tasman was awesome and made me feel calm and excited about the jump. After jumping out of the plane all my worries where gone and it it was just fun! Highly recommend it!

Well run operation and overall good experience, however more could have been done for those doing this for the first time. The intro video made it look very easy and all fun, when in reality from 16500ft its brutal on the senses and I was in shock most of the way down as although it may be hot on the ground it's freezing that far up. Then was in pain after the parachute opened as ears strongly objected to the sudden change in pressure. While it was a memorable experience and glad done it once, it was a painful and brutal experience I wasn't prepared for at all. Just needs better advice on what to expect, so suggest don't pop ears on way up or even wear ear plugs designed to minimize pressure changes. Also offer gloves in summer not just winter. Winter skydiving I'd be wearing many layers of clothing and gloves.. May do again so can enjoy it the second time, just a shame had to pay to experience it myself to learn what to expect.

Skydived with them on Boxing Day 2018 and had a wonderful experience. Evan was a great jump guide who made it as enjoyable as possible. Highly recommend!!! Thanks, Stuart.

I had my 16500ft skydive last April 20,2019 . I just landed at 8:30am in Nelson from my Auckland,Queenstown and Christchurch trips. Due to excitement, I was sched at 9:30am. It was an awesome experience!!!! I only chose Abel Tasman for my first skydive as strongly recommended by my bestfriend who is from Nelson!!all staff are amazing! They love their job and guests are well assisted! Thank you to Julie( who assisted me well in my request),James ( the best master tandem skydiver) and Matt (who made fantastic photos and video). Will invite alot of friends in Philippines.Bravo!!Abel Tasman skydive-- you are the best!👏👐👍👍

When a great experience great people just great

Amazing these guys and girls really are awesome :) they give you a really personal day and the quality of the dvd/usb is amazing worth every dollar. the guys I jumped with were brilliant I was scared silly going up but they make you feel like one of the team and chill you out. Apart from jumping out of the plane my most fond memory will be of Dan singing bananas in pyjamas in my ear on the way up. I will be back McLovin loves ya :)

Awesome place to skydive, amazing view. Mostly friendly, enthusiastic staff, except few that looked like they were bored with this job already. I went around early sunset which felt perfect.

Skydive Abel Tasman is the coolest skydive place in New Zealand. You can see both islands from Mt Taranaki all the way down to the southern Alps. You are jumping over one of the most beautiful places on Earth. The able Tasman. They jump from 16,500 ft here which is 1500 feet higher than Queenstown and Taupo which means you get up to 75 seconds of free fall.

EPIC!!! Well worth the money 16500 for a first jump is the way to go. Can't water till I go again
