Very professional and knowledgeable team. Good facilities on site such as grooming,DIY dog wash as well as plenty of other toys,foods etc

We always take our big cry baby of a GSD here for his baths and the staff never seem to mind the fuss he makes when being washed. Very friendly and accommodating

Well presented store with a huge range of products. The young lady was very knowledgeable and made sure I was armed with the correct information to make my decision and not just trying to get additional sales. Great convenient parking out front.

Went to get specialist cat food for my diabetic cat. The staff knew what i was looking for and directed me to the right area and told me about the regular buyers discount offer they have. I will be back for the next bag. Easy to find and park right outside.

Very lovely vet staff they were very gentle and kind to my cat, they did everything in her best interest including helping with an xray on her tail for free to easy my mind, they care more about animals than money and it's very nice to see

I like this branch a lot as the staff are always lovely and helpful. There is a huge range of items available and while it's not the cheapest, it's handy if you need things on the go as it's a local trustworthy pet & supplies shop.

Friendly staff... And some discounts after repeated buys. It's out of my way but my cat likes Hills food.

Took our dog here for a groom. Tanya was great and helpful with queries. The team are helpful and the range is good. Prices are high for toys and treats but their food range is well priced.

Good friendly staff, very knowledgeable. They know thier stuff about pets and the product that they carry. There is plenty of off street parking which is a bonus and in a reasonably good location not far from the norther motorway off ramp.

These guys are fantastic, I recently moved to Whangaparaoa and have many vets close by but still choose to travel to Pet Doctors Glenfield with my dog. The service is great and very caring, but more importantly my dog is happy to see the staff when we walk in the door. I am listened to carefully and my view's on the care of my dog are taken into consideration with any treatments. Wouldn't go anywhere else, feel so confident my girl is well taken care of. Thank guys your the best.

This vet has the most friendly staff, they really know what they are talking about. Whenever i take my two cats in they do their best to try and keep them calm (they both don't like loud noises or any type of movement in a foreign environment) and they are happy to answer my queries no matter how stupid they are. I am happy to continue taking my cats here whenever as they are open at the weekends aswell as late night so its easy to get an appointment. Thanks Team, keep up the great work!

Great place for your everything you need for your pets

The after care surgery that my cat received was really great. He had to go to the Emergency Vet the evening prior and then was transferred to our regular vet, where he continued with his care. Andie was very helpful with her explanations and kept me updated.

The staff that work in the shop area, WELL DONE YALL. Everytime I’ve come through, you guys are all in the “know”. Y’all deserve a pay rise!!!

I've been going to Pet Doctors for the whole life of my cat (14yrs), and each time I've found the vets to be professional, instilling my confidence in their abilities, but also sympathetic and considerate of my concern. I even had one vet go beyond the call of duty to allay my concerns, and she didn't even charge me for the visit. Thank you Pet Doctors

I have just recently begun using Pet Doctors Glenfield and the whole experience from start to finish has been nothing but a pleasure. From the lady at the front desk (Loren) who is sympathetic, knowledgeable and helpful, to the absolutely lovely, thorough and reassuring vet I am now taking my Ragdoll kitten to (Claire), I cannot thank you enough. Very pleased with the level of care and service. Thank you guys!

Visited pet doctors Glenfield when I couldn't get an appointment at my usual vet. The service was so great, they even emailed my usual vet to fill them in as an FYI. The service was great, and they are always helpful, thorough and sincere. Pet doctors is now my first point of call when my pets need to see a vet.

The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because when I visited there were no kittens in the store to swoon over for longer than I should do. The do have a great range of cat food to pick from (which is why I went in the first place)

Great pet shop, awesome staff and you can bring your pets into the shop. Things are pricey here though!

Animates is a decent size chain of pet stores and some include vet services. Glenfield is a decent size store with intenal dog washing facilities, $10 per wash or $99 for unlimited washes for 12 months. Staff are friendly and genuinely helpful. Plenty of parking (6 spots onsite and plenty of safe street parking)

The wonderful staff at Pet Doctors Glenfield have looked after our two pooches since we first got them. Everyone is so passionate, friendly and welcoming! Recently one of our pups became very unwell and passed away. During that time the staff at Pet Doctors were so accomodating to our needs, our constant phone calls and visits checking up on our wee man. They became such a huge support to us and were nothing but proffesional, caring, and passionate. We will never go to anyone else. The staff here are incredibly amazing!

Thank you to the team at Cherry Lane for taking in 2 very tiny kittens today. The kittens were found in a storage warehouse on Porana Road. Their mother was nowhere to be seen, and the owners of the Warehouse did not know what to do with the kittens. Poor wee things were cold and hungry. I phoned the SPCA Auckland, but they were not interested in taking the kittens so I decided to phone the Vet at Animates. You guys were so kind and helpful. Thank you so much, you do a wonderful job.

Amazing first groom with my little puppy Bella. Tanya took amazing care to make the experience friendly and kind for her while releasing an immaculately groomed puppy :) I don’t know how she does it!

Has everything you need, however staff always looked so stressed and makes me think they are very understaffed. there is not near enough people on the floor helping people with questions and normally a wait for the checkout. I Feel sorry for the staff !

Thank you so much to the team who have treated Lou-lou to make her senior years more comfortable. She is 20+ years old and it took 3 months of veterinary expertise and lots of tlc but she is back to normal health now.

The staff are lovely, so tolerant, helpful. Our dog knows exactly where we are when we get close and really excited when we pull up. The DIY dog wash is fantastic.

Not cheap dog haircuts but very good service and well organised. Loyalty scheme has its own hassle factor when trying to use rewards but it does work once your registered correctly. Definitely worth getting pet food when there is a sale on. Very welcoming to pets in the store.

I'll always come here for any of my aquarium needs. Good range of livestock that are healthy, and I've managed to find everything I've needed from filter replacements, air pump plus accessories, ornaments, and they've almost always had a staff member dedicated to the aquatic part of the store who has always been knowledgable and helpful. Staff are always super lovely, this is a great shop.

They got pretty mad when I started grabbing the goldfish out of the tank and biting their heads off.

All ways very helpful

Large store with lot of pets and items to choose from. There kittens, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish right now and it is really busy. Selection of food, treats and toys is great as well as beds, leads and other accessories. There is plenty of staff around happy to help or just to play with your pet. On more than one occasion they offered advice on flea treatment products. Store also offer grooming service and staff is really friendly and love working with animals. Tanya is always happy and plays with our dog before grooming. Grooming service is great and can be booked for several months in advance. This is my favorite pet store.

We found a lost black lab this morning in Hillcrest with no collar on. Took it to Animates to see if they could scan it which they willing did. Unfortunately, it is micro chipped but It's not registered but they at least took the poor wee thing in and is notifying the council. Thank you Animates for your vets helpful service.

We visit every weekend to wash our pupper and buy her treats and chewies. Staff are happy and friendly. The instore groomer, Tania, is the best in Auckland. She grooms our cat and our cat loves her. If you have a pet and live on the shore you should check it out.

This was our 2nd visit to Animates, to have our lovely Labradoodle, Sid groomed. As usual the girls were lovely and gave Sid a great hairdo.
