J.I phoned this morning because my little cat had been in a bad cat fight and was in obvious pain,very miserable and her tail was hanging at an odd angle. I was given a time to drop Smokie off even though they were fully booked and I wasn't a registered client 😊
My whole experience of this Vetinary surgery was of a very professional, caring, friendly, reassuring practice.

L.Finding Shore Vets 12 years ago was the best thing we ever did! Absolutely without a doubt Neil and Tania are the best Vets we have ever had, Veterinary nurses Sarah and Hannah and reception staff are all wonderful, they always makes you feel welcome and are extremely professional, friendly and caring. You can tell they all have our fur babies health care first and foremost as their priority. Neil and Tania are especially reassuring and have been so kind and going several extra miles, especially with the ongoing care and treatment of our much loved diabetic cat. We are so appreciative of all the times Neil and Tania have gone out of their way to help us in extremely stressful times, definitely the best veterinary clinic, highly recommend and would suggest that even if you don’t live in the area, you wouldn’t go wrong making the trip to Shore Vets, for any of your veterinary needs!
j.A dog will be afraid of the vet the same way our kids are afraid of the Dentist.
This is NOT vet specific but a result of how dogs and humans are in any situation that involves physical examination.
With this thought in mind; the team at Shore Vets go out of their way to insure my four leggers are comfortable and happy with every visit.
My kids do not get unwanted care but get complete attention.
Tania and Niel both jumped up to the plate and helped us when tragedy struck last October .
They were there for us after the event to insure our other little dog was coping as well; and two devastated adults.
Niel has gone above and beyond with dropping insulin to our home when we could not make it to the clinic with in hours and then just this morning arriving outside his shift to see our newest addition who is sick.
His effort to meet our inability to keep with in clinic hours has endeared him to both of us.
We need service and professionalism like Shore Vets here in Devonport.
We count ourselves lucky to live on the peninsula; where my pets and the two us have peace of mind because of services such as Shore Vets.

J.I recently took my elderly cat to Shore Vets as he was going downhill. The care and love that the staff gave during this sad time was wonderful. They are a lovely team and even followed up with a card a few days later. If you want good care and kindness for your pet this is the practice to go to.

P.Seriously guys this place is fab. Professional, helpful and caring team led by Dr Neil Waddell BVSc. Neil speyed our Lab Meg this week. He was incredibly thorough, talked me through everything and today (one day later) I can barely see the incision let alone the stitches which are invisible as he stitched just below the skin line. I would not hesitate to recommend Short Vets and their professional team. Thank you guys.
