J.Took my puppy in here today after being told about it by good friends. Found the place very tidy and clean, front counter staff were friendly and the vet (Belinda) was so good with my wee man. Friendly, gave helpful advice and answered a couple of questions I had. Was really welled priced as well - will definitely be taking my animals back here. Keep up the great work team!
R.Have had two visits with Belinda now and she is lovely. Our dog gets quite nervous but she handles him really well and for the first time today he didn’t have any bad responses to his examination. Highly recommend!

C.I have been going to this vet for over a year now and are fantastic. Great knowledge from the vets. Getting an appointment is very easy and quick. The vets are great and i trust all of them with my animals, they also cater to each animals needs. Their reception staff is also fantastic. I would recommend this vet to everyone.
K.Such a wonderful vet clinic. The vets, and vet nurses are all lovely and so caring to the animals and their worried owners. My bill is always much less than what I expect after years of going to corporate chain type vets. Highly recommended!
I.Diana Weir is the best vet I have ever had (my 5-star rating is specifically for Dr Weir). She has an intuitive understanding of animals and treats them with respect, compassion and care. She always has time to explain (but is never condescending) issues, and involves owners in making decision about treatment and the best way forward. I would not take my dogs to any other vet.

A.Returning cat parent and rat owner currently with multiple kitties. I have used this practice since 2015. This practice treats your beloved pet/s with the respect given to people, genuine concern and care towards getting the right treatment organised for your pet with your budget & limitations. When you laugh, they laugh. When you cry, they cry.
Rodents are a speciality and they have numerous vets who can take care of your littlest ones with compassion and grace they deserve regardless of the problem.
Regardless of what pet you roll with, Merivale-Papanui Vet Clinic comes highly recommended from all of my fluffy pets across past and present fluffy houseguests, to yours and your own peace of mind.
G.Absolutely amazing service!! Friendly, caring, and respectful. Our cat went in for a routine teeth cleaning and continued not eating for almost 24 hours afterwards. Worried, we called the vet and they immediately said just bring him in and we’ll take a look! He was given some pain relief and anti-nausea, was back to normal within hours! Was just amazed with the service and will recommend wholeheartedly! Thank you!!!

J.Best vet practice we've ever patronised. Nothing's a problem, everyone helpful and professional. Normal fees - not money hungry IMO. Today I took my old chook in to be euthanased and lovely Diana declined payment. I have NEVER come across that at any other Chch vet, in 50 years of owning animals.
R.I've always loyally come to this vet. The receptionist is absolutely lovely and has a sympathetic approach. The vet nurses and vets are also great and professional. Today was the first time going after their renovations and the building is clean and has a stress free atmosphere.

G.Best Vet clinic in Christchurch! I have used a few vets in the area over the years and the service with the team here are the best by far. They help us with all our special animals including the sick chicken I took once in an emergency! They go the extra mile everytime and do lots of research if you have something less ordinary like a few of my pets cases. Very reasonably priced as well. Can't recommend them enough to anyone that wants the best care for their pet.
