Absolutely amazing vet clinic!! Previously had alot of issues with my large German sheppards and their skin for years, made the change to see the team at companion vets and it was the best decision we ever made for our animals. Their skin is under control and they are very happy. We don't feel like we are being ripped off and the staff are always amazing at explaining everything to us. They also care for our foster pups 🐶 ❤️ Thank you for caring for our fur children and going above and beyond for their wellbeing and care ❤️

Craig and his team of amazing vet nurses are by far the best vets I have ever found. And I’m pretty fussy! They are friendly, show real caring toward my dogs (thank you) the level of professionalism is also worthy of comment- they freely share knowledge and have open discussions as well as provide clear information about the procedure and any after care! They are exactly what they advertise on their site. I would happily recommend them to anyone (in fact I already have!) 👍😊⭐️

I'm a new pet parent. I have a kitten and a puppy. I absolutely value the advice given by the team from the very start. I was given valuable advice even before buying the two pets and as soon as we got the pets home, we took both of them to Companion Vets. I was terrified as I've heard many stories about pets being afraid to go to the vets. However, the team at Companion Vets made both us and our pets very happy. Both our pets love to visit the clinic which is a blessing. Love the fact that everyone I meet at the clinic knows the names of both my pets. They also care for your fur babies for real. If they do not do that, my puppy would never run after the staff wagging his tail like crazy. Such a kind and caring staff 💕 100% recommended 👌

We read some positive comments about Companion Vets on the St Andrews Resident site so when we got our puppy we decided to take him there for his first check up and vaccination. We felt so welcomed. The vets are wonderful along with all the other friendly staff. Our puppy loves his visits there especially puppy school. So pleased we found out about this Vet. Good pricing too and quick response.

My Athena loves Craig, she had major surgery an amputation of her big toe. The healing process was long, it was hard on her as she is such an active dog, now confinded to the house for 6 weeks and having to wear a cone. Everyone was so supportive at companion vets. Positive advise, phone calls extra visits. I would not go anywhere else. Craig has a straightforward approach and gets things done Highly recommend to anyone who loves their pets

Excellent service from the team here at Companion Vets in relation to my dogs surgery a few weeks ago. The vet Craig was absolutely amazing at what he did, removing everything that needed to be removed and not missing anything. A tidy job with the stitches and very thoughtful, caring and wise when it came to removing the stitches. The receptionists were extremely caring with me and my dog, along with the team who cared for her before and after the surgery. I highly recommend Companion Vets to anyone and I will be forever grateful for their service.

The entire team at Companion Vets provided the best service I've experienced at a vets within Hamilton. I was able to get my pets in, both times, on the same day and from the phone call to the admin team to Craig the vet, I couldn't fault them. We received amazing care and support from Craig and the team when our puppy was injured recently. They made regular enquiries about his recovery which was very much appreciated. I have total confidence in the diagnosis and treatment provided.

I've taken my cat to a few vet practices over the years as we have moved around a lot and I have never seen her so relaxed at the vets before. We had Dr Fran, who was so lovely, knowledgeable and obviously has the magic touch with cats as my timid girl seemed quite content. The set-up of the clinic is also fantastic and well-thought out as it minimises stress on your feline friend. Booking an appointment was a breeze (booked online) and the receptionists are really lovely as well! Highly recommend Companion Vets if you are new to town or looking for a new vet clinic

These vets and support staff are the most genuinely caring and devoted professionals I have ever encountered. I had my kitten Lilly spayed and they kept me informed throughout and after surgery, gave her pain relief to keep her comfortable for the days after surgery, and were genuinely invested in and attentive to her welfare. They even saw her again to check her stitches 10 days later without charge, to reassure me that lilly was healing properly. I thoroughly recommend this business and I will continue to take my beloved pets to them. They also have Zip Pay so you can spread the cost of treatment. Its lovely to see staff really genuinely care for your pet and treat her as the beautiful, unique creature she is.

Such a beautiful team at Companion vets. They were so amazing when we sadly had to put our beloved family member boy boy to sleep. I arrived home today to a beautiful hand written card from all the team and a beautiful surprise of a painted paw print from our Boy Boy . Thank you so much!

The team are great, understanding, helpful. I wasn't even a registered client but had an emergency and they has no hesitation at helping us. Not only with the infection but also spotted other issues and otfhered test and solutions. Would highly recommend this clinic.

My partner and I had a great experience with Companion Vets who took such great care of our dog Nala, her surgery went well, the care she received was amazing and follow up care was just as great. Found these vets when my puppy developed a sore leg after a day at doggy day care. When I called our regular vet and I explained the situation I was told they were booked out for a week. After ringing many other vets Companion vets took us on the day and explained all the things that could have caused a sore leg (turned out it was the knee) including maybe having to have surgery. I'm extremely grateful for their prompt service as this wasn't as urgent as to take her to the emergency hospital but yet required immediate attention especially to manage the swelling and pain. We walked out with an explanation, a plan, medication and a worst case scenario plan. We're seriously considering enrolling with them because this is the kind of service I would expect. Thank you very much from Craig, Georgina and puppy Vogue.

Honestly where do I start?!! Companion Vets went OVER AND BEYOND, I got in a pickle with my cats eye... and got an appointment the next day (I rang every vet in the Mighty Waikato to fix my fur baby!!!) Margie .... the only words that come to mind are she is an ANGEL 😇 so caring and sympathetic and just somehow turns the worst situations into calm situations!! Craig, well this man is calm, cool and collected... So professional, caring and down to earth, I trusted him completely!! Highly recommend Companion Vets to everyone!!

We have just moved and before we could sort out a vet our little dog needed some urgent attention. I popped by with her to make an appointment to be seen but actually only had to wait for an urgent consultation between other visits. I am so pleased we were able to be squeezed in as our dog needed immediate care! Thanks so much - needless to say Companion Vets is now our Vet.

Really knowledgeable vets here, Craig took the time to explain our dogs condition to us in detail, including things that we could do at home to help which was greatly appreciated. They provide a great service, highly recommended.

I recently adopted two rescue dogs that needing lots of loving but they also need some major teeth work and updated vaccinations. Companion Vets not only looked after my two dogs with great care and professionalism but also succeeded in putting me completely at ease knowing they were in the best hands. My dogs now get very excited when we go to visit and that makes me feel very happy. I would thoroughly recommend Companion Vets for your pets. 😀👍

THE BEST VETS IN HAMILTON!!!! Honestly, don't bother with the rest! Vet Craig & Vet Juliet were highly recommended to me from another professional Vet. Which is preeetty impressive....👌 The entire team at Companion Vets are so warm, caring, knowledgeable and friendly. They genuinely care. My 3 cats & 2 dogs really enjoy going in. Last week in Level 4 lockdown one of my dogs needed an emergency operation. I was scared & worried for her. Vet Juliet & Team were incredible. They worked their magic and we had a fabulous outcome. Their expertise & knowledge put me instantly at ease, as well as the update phone calls on how my girl was going. This is an awesome vet practice. They really do care. They are professional, incredibly helpful and very friendly. After becoming more and more dissatisfied with the vet practice I was with I decided to change to Companion vets, best decision ever.

The Companion Vets are great! They communicate well with me about my pets needs and fully explain the options for treatment instead of deciding without consultation. My cat and dog both don't have any issues with going to the vets, which is due to the way they are treated when they are there. I highly recommend the team.

It’s always a pleasure coming into Companion Vets. Our pup absolutely loves the team and he’s always excited to go in to the vet, which speaks volumes. It’s a wonderful caring team at Companion Vets, they listen, they care and they explain things so you understand. From the vets, and nurses to the receptionist, they are all 100% dedicated and compassionate. We recently had to farewell our treasured dog (family member) and we were overwhelmed with the process, again they listened to our wishes, they were carried out to the letter, it was a horribly sad time for us, but the warmth and compassion shown to us, made our journey easier to deal with. If you love your pet, Companion Vets are for you.

Having to put down a pet is always hard, and Craig has now had to put down three of our elderly cats in recent years. He is very professional, yet caring and respectful. We have two more very elderly cats, so unfortunately will probably be needing your services again in the not too distant future. Companion vets is such a handy location, with excellent staff, highly recommend!

Craig and the team at Companion Vets went above and beyond for our Kobe. When they weren't able to provide an immediate diagnosis they helped us keep him comfortable, did their research and came up with an answer. I own an elderly cat with a heart murmur. I was worried about stressing him out with a car ride when he had an abscess. Juliete and her crew were so understanding. A home visit was no problem. Great care, advice and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommend this practice.

I can not recommend the team at companion vets highly enough. The purpose built clinic means that they have access to a range of services to help look after our fur babies. I have a very excitable senior dog who loves her frequent visits to the vets and if she has to stay over in the hospital I know she’s well looked after. Both our fur babies love going to companion vets. Puppy school was fantastic and informative and each visit with the vets is very thorough. Everyone knows who you are as you walk through the doors and always gives the puppy and dog lots of attention :)

As the carer of 6 cats and 2 dogs of various ages and with a range of medical conditions, I can hand on heart state that the standard of informed care I receive from vets, Craig and Juliet as well as their excellent nursing and admin staff, is second to none! I have always felt that my '"babies'" health, comfort and quality of life is paramount and have appreciated the honest, compassionate treatment that I received in difficult times. Bart and Lucy (canine children) also show their endorsement every time they visit, by their eagerness to get through the door to smother everyone (Bart particularly loves Juliet!) in slobbery kisses. Craig has looked after my pets - dogs and cats - for a number of years in another practice and now, thankfully, with Companion Pets. His insight to animal health is incredible but this is extended by an open approach to remedies coupled with his skills as a surgeon. Wonderful new premises and the best care for my dogs. One dog is too anxious to go further than the scales, or maybe the sofa on a good day, but this is never a problem for the friendly team who always do their best to make her feel better.

I highly recommend Companion Vets, Hamilton. They are like night & day compared to our old vet. We travel from Huntington to see them and they are worth the extra drive. Always received excellent advice from compassionate and honest staff. I found them well priced. Absolutely thrilled I tried them out based on a recommendation from a sales assistant at PetStock! Have referred several others there now. I especially like there are seperate waiting areas for cats and dogs and the whanau room, where you can be with your hospitalised pet if they are away from home for a few days, complete with its own couch and the calming atmosphere. Staff are amazing and take such great care of Vader. When you visit you can tell they have a passion for what they are doing and the animals in their care. I had just recently got my Toy Poodle Luka. I needed a caring Vet as i had never owned a small dog before and am very pleased I choice Campanion Vets. Luka was really well cared for and was at ease with the staff and the vet. I have recommended them to others and they agreed with me how caring and informative they were with there experience. Craig and Juliet do a great job looking after our two dogs (one elderly with several health issues) and two cats. The vets and other staff keep both the pets and humans calm while treating them. They provide clear information as to options and then follow up to check on our furkids.

Our beautiful dog,Tink, got fixed through Companion Vets. From the time we left her till pick up they kept us with updates of her condition after anaesthetic and her after care phonecall a couple of days after surgery.. The staff were lovely and great with Tinks young owner answering his many questions.. I highly recommend their services

Craig and his team are absolutely wonderful to deal with and really go the extra mile, which has been great for a dog with issues. Love the separate waiting areas for large dogs, small dogs and cats right away in their own room! This has made our visit way less stressful than any vet I have ever been to, yay

Had an awesome experience with this vet…they were very responsive when I called late in the day with a problem with my dog…they saw me within 10 minutes of my call.. I felt so comfortable with them that I booked my dog in to have her luxating patella done and this was also done very professionally, I can’t rate this veterinary service high enough.lovely caring people who work there.

My labradoodle Molly had a knee operation in February. All has gone well. Vet Juliet was Molly's first vet 14 years ago and it is so good that Molly is still in her care, along with Craig, Fran and the other caring and professional staff.
